Review: Missha Super Aqua Ultra Waterfull Cream and Gel Serum
9. January 2014Some of you might already know, but I have to mention that I have dry skin, especially in winter like now. I’m always looking for good moisturizing creams and one of my favourite moisturizers is Missha’s Super Aqua Ultra Marine Stem Cell Defending Cream, which was one of my first reviews on this blog :D I had high hopes for this Cream from Missha’s Super Aqua line and I was not disappointed.
The cream itself has a creamy, thick consistency, in contrast to the Missha super Aqua Marine Stem Cell Defending cream, which was a mixture between a cream and a gel. Due to the consistency of the cream, this product is very rich and a little amount goes a long way. If you use too much, your skin can not absorb it and it will look greasy. With the right amount it absorbs into the skin quickly and really makes the skin feel supple and soft. Actually, the fact that you only need a bit of the product each time, makes the price of the full size product quite okay. Although it is more on the expensive side of moisturizers generally seen. The full sized jar contains 47 ml and costs 30 US$. Like Missha’s Super Aqua Marine Stem Cell Defending Cream it contains a spatula to spoon out the product and keep it more hygienic. The scent of the cream is fresh, but pleasant in my eyes.
I thought this serum would be more fluid, like water, but it has a semi fluid consistency, like oil for example (but it is not oily!). Thus it is called Gel Serum, I guess ^_^”’ It absorbs super fast into the skin and makes it feel really nice. The skin looks in a way dewy and fresh and the feeling stays throughout the day.
Compared to the cream it is rather scentless, but also here the sample sachet only contains 2 ml which is enough for two times use at the most. The full sized product comes in a tube with a pump, which is convenient for this type of product. It contains 40 ml and costs around US$30. Actually I didn’t find this serum on Missha’s US site.
Nicoleta Alexandra! Congratulations! I wrote you an email. Please answer asap :) ♥
The packaging is quite simple and not really special, with an image of some olives on it. The foam cleanser comes in a squeeze tube and it smells of fresh olives, at least I suppose that it should be fresh olives and somehow I can imagine it to be exactly that. XD
Review: Skinfood Good Afternoon Honey Black Tea BB Cream No.1
5. December 2013Although, I only have had samples, even their packaging is typical for Skinfood and really cute. It shows an illustration of a bee and a beehive on the schemes of a tea bag. There are several BB cremes in the Skinfood Good Afternoon Tea BB line. In total there are five different ones: Apple Cinnamon Tea, Berry Berry Tea, Peach Green Tea, Rose Lemon Tea and Honey Black Tea. They vary slightly from one another, each having it’s own specifies. And they all come in two different shades, light beige (#1) and natural beige (#2). At the moment I tend to get natural beige, if I can choose, but in this case the samples were all light beige. Nevertheless, I can put it on and it is only a tiny little bit too bright for me, but it blends in well with the skin color on the other hand.
A moisturizing and illuminating BB cream with sweet honey and flavorful red tea that keeps skin soft and supple. [Good Afternoon BB Cream Story]

Review: Mamonde Total Solution Mineral Moisture BB cream
2. December 2013Unfortunaltely the packaging of this travel size BB tube is only in korean. the cardbox has a reflective material, which makes it a bit hard to take pictures with flash :( The tube itself contains 30 ml BB cream and has a screw cap. It has a pink color, but the rest of the design is rather simple and not especially creative or cute.
The oil controll is quite normal and not really super, if you have already oily skin. I personally didnt have problems with my dry skin. This BB cream is a light BB cream, compared to thicker BB creams like Missha’s Perfect cover BB. It gives a nice glow, but has only low to medium coverage. On the other hand it is very natural and easy blendable.
