Review: Aritaum Water Sliding Tints

14. April 2015

As announced in my previous Aritaum review I will show you the Aritaum Water Sliding Tints today. Honestly, I didn’t plan on buying these, rather I wanted to try the popular Aritaum Honey Melting Tints, but when I finally decided on specific shades the Water Sliding Tints were released and I read in reviews that these are less sticky than the Honey Melting Tints. This fact changed my decision and I selected two shades from the Aritaum Water sliding tints instead.

Aritaum Water Sliding Tints

As you know, I love Aritaum lip products. I started to know this brand with the Aritaum Wannabe Cushion Tints and I also did love the World Glam Coating Tint I tried. Aritaum is a Korean brand which belongs to the Amore Pacific family. It is an affordable drug store brand, but provides good quality products. The Aritaum Water Sliding Tints promise to have a silky feeling, being leightweight and sliding over your lips. I do like moiosturizing lipsticks and tints, which made this product really interesting to me. Since it is a solidified liquid lipstick you only need to push out not more than 1 mm of the bullet. An important note here: the bullet is not retractable once it is pushed out!

Aritaum Water Sliding Tints

The design of these liptints is similar to the Honey Melting Tints and quite simple. Each shade has a different colored cap to show the color of the tint. The name of the shade is also printed on the sides. I chose No.7 “Crazy Ruby” and No.12 “Fruits Punch”. “Fruits Punch” seems to be very poular, because when I first wanted to order these from testerkorea it was out of stock quickly. In total there are 15 shades availbale. The number of the shade and the name is also printed on the bottom of the lipsticks in Korean. Some transparant sticker on the side also show short Korean descriptions and also seal the new product, but these stickers are easily removable, so the lipstick looks still nice after peeling these off.

Aritaum Water Sliding Tints

I chose No.7 “Crazy Ruby” since it looks like a classic bright red shade in the promotional pictures. It looks a bit different when swatched and a bit more cherry red, but still it is a bright color. No.12 “Fruits Punch” is a coral/pink and beautiful summer color in the advertorial pictures. Swatched it looks less pink but more like a red/coral or peachy shade. I can recommend you to take a look at other swatches from bloggers before deciding which shade to buy. It helped me selecting shades a lot.

Aritaum Water Sliding Tints

The Aritaum Water Sliding Tints contain Argan oil and other fruit oils for moisturizing properties. And they do not only claim this, but they also deliver in that point. The product glides super softly over the lips and feels like those soft lipbalms you get in tiny tubes. It smells fruity and nice, but the scent is no lingering one, so people with sensitive noses will like it, too. Furthermore, although more like a lipbalm the Aritaum Water Sliding Tints have a noticeable pigmentation. The less product you use the softer and lighter is the pigmentation, but if you use like two layers you will get nicely covered lips. Below, you will see how the two lip tints look on my lips. Both colors look actually brighter in real life than in the images. Since the product is buttery soft I would recommend you to push up the bullet little by little. You will not need 1 mm necessarily. Also, a little warning: the brighter the color you pick, the more it will settle into lines because it melts into the structure. Although I like both colors really a lot and I do use them daily (almost daily- in turns with Innisfree Creammellow Lipsticks), I have to point out that “Crazy Ruby” is easier to handle than “Fruits Punch”. When the color starts fading (it is not longlasting, since it is comparable to a lip balm) “Crazy Ruby” looks prettier than “Fruits Punch”. This is mainly because my natural lip color is darker than the color. The moisturizing effect lasts for about 3-4 hours which is nice, too. Although this tint looks super glossy and moisturizing it is not really sticky either.

Aritaum Water Sliding Tints

Do I recommend the Aritaum Water Sliding tints? Yes, I do! I love them for every day use and they feel so moisturizing and nice on the lips! I want to try “Wild Srawberry” and “Caribbean Red”. I also do think that these will be my first lip products that I will be able to really use up, which is mostly because of the fluid formula :D You can get these from testerkorea (but some colors are out of stock) for 8100 Won (~8 US$) or at ibuybeauti for 8.70 US$.

Review: Aritaum Mono Eyes “Take That”

13. April 2015

// KBEAUTY / AFFILIATE LINKS / MAKE UP //

One of my favourite brands for Korean lip products is Aritaum! I loved their Wannabe Cushion Tints, their world Glam Tint and since I received the Water Sliding Tints I almost use these every single day (review upcoming). Apart from lip products I’ve always been curious about other Aritaum products, which is why I decided to try the Aritaum Mono Eyes eyeshadows starting off with a shade called “Take That”. This shade is supposed to be similar to MAC’s eyeshadow “Honey Lust”. Since I don’t have any Mac eyeshadows I cannot compare the two shades, but I can show you some swatches at least.

Aritaum Mono Eyes "Take That"

Aritaum is a Korean brand which belongs to the Amore Pacific family. First time I came into contact with this brand was through the Aritaum Wannabe Cushion Tints, which I fell in love with at first site. Their beautiful and colorful design was something special and new to me. Although Aritaum has quite some cute and girly designed packaging they also do have more mature looking products. The design of the Aritaum Mono Eyes for example is very simple and reminds of MAC packaging. These single eyeshadow pans can also be removed from their packaging and arranged into empty palettes, so you can create your own eyeshadow palette. There are more than 90 different shades available, so there is a huge variety. Apart from so many different colors the texture is also different. There are baked, wet processed, cream, pressed glitter, pressed satin glitter, and pressed matte eyeshadows. I selected Aritaum Mono Eyes eyeshadow No. 35 “Take That”, which is a pressed glitter eyeshadow.

Aritaum Mono Eyes "Take That"

This eyeshadow is a copper colored, shimmering eyeshadow with a warm undertone. It has a good pigmentation and looks nice even without an eyeshadow base. Although it is a glitter eyeshadow it doesn’t have any fallout and stays long on the lid. The container is made of plastic with a clear plastic window in the lid, so you see which color you are grabbing if you have more than one eyeshadow from this collection.

Aritaum Mono Eyes "Take That"

Although I do not wear eyeshadow often I discovered that I use this eyeshadow a lot. I love to combine it with the Innisfree Shadow Pencil in “Milk Tea” als base color and Aritaum Mono Eyes “Take That” for the crease. Since using the Innisfree Shadow Pencil is super easy and quick this look can be created fast, which is why I really like it.

Aritaum Mono Eyes "Take That"

I’m really happy with Aritaum Mono Eyes “Take That” eyeshadow. It is a beautiful copper shade and is not overly glittery, which makes it wearable on a daily basis as point color for example. Since there are so many different eyeshadow colors and types available for the Aritraum Mono Eyes I can recommend you to take a look at the full range. If you are looking for a specific color I’m sure you’ll find something due to the high variety. I also like the fact that you can build your own eyeshadow palette if you want. Moreover, the eyeshadows are quite affordable. They retail for 5000 Won at Aritaum. I bought my shade from W2Beauty for 6.49 US$, but it is also available on testerkorea for 4500-6300 Won depending on the shade you choose. Did you try any of the Aritaum Mono Eyes eyeshadows? Do you have a favourite color? I would like to try some of the matte shades in future.

7. January 2015

Hello my dearest readers! Happy new year to all of you! I know I’m a bit late for a roundup of last year, but I didn’t want to start into 2015 with simply a new review, which is why I decided to show you my favourite 20 asian cosmetics products which I reviewed in 2014. It was quite difficult to decide because I have quite a few products I liked last year, but I could shorten it to 20 products, including makeup, skincare, nails, masks and even a hair product. I still have some products I bought last year, but I didn’t review them, and I decided to not include them into my top 20 of 2014, but rather save them for this year, after I did the reviews :) Here is my selection of products:

Review: Aritaum World Glam Coating Tint

31. August 2014

I was super excited when Ibuybeauti contacted me a while ago, in order to write some reviews for their Beautifan page. After having received my products, here is the first review I wrote :) You can also have a look at the review on Beautifan here and I would be happy if you would leave a comment or just have a look at it :) ♥

Aritaum World Glam Coating Tint

Aritaum is a Korean brand which belongs to the Amore Pacific family. The first time I came into contact with this brand was though another lip product, the Aritaum Wannabe Cushion Tints, which I fell in love at first site, because of the beautiful and colorful design. In case of the World Glam Coatint Tints, it was not because of the design of the product, that I chose this. The design here is simple and mature here. The World Glam Coatint Tint collection comprises ten different shades and each shade is named after a city. That is where the name World Glam comes from. The name of the city is written in capital letters around the cap of the lip tint, which also has the corresponding color of the tint. Apart from this the packaging is black. I chose the shade “Shanghai”, a classic red according to the promotional pictures.

Aritaum World Glam Coating Tint

Each lip tint bottle contains 9 ml of lip tint. The description printed on the bottle is written in Korean. On the bottom you’ll find the production date of the lip tint. The Aritaum World Glam Coating Tint is provided with a doe foot applicator, which feels soft upon application. It is easy to use and allows you to create nicely coated lips.

Aritaum World Glam Coating Tint

Below, you can see how the tint looks swatched on my hand and lips. The color of the tint is a bright red with an orange hue. The orange hue is stronger than I expected, but it is a nice red shade in total. The texture of this lip tint lies somewhere between lip gloss and the milky lip tints. It is not sticky like a gloss, which I’m really happy about. Moreover, it gives your lips a soft texture. The pigmentation is really nice and covers the natural lip color. The scent of the Aritaum World Glam Coating Tint is fruity and the taste is the same. Some lip tints tend to taste a bit bitter, but this is not the case here.

Aritaum World Glam Coating Tint

Last but not least, the most important part when talking about lip products: How long is the lasting power of the Aritaum World Glam Coatint Tint? This tint lasts for up to 4 hours. It is waterproof to a ceratin extend- if leaves a stain on your lips even when drinking. When I swatched the lip tint on my hands and washed it off, the stain was still visible, too. The glossyness of the tint fades away after 3-4 hours, that’s when the soft feeling on your lips disappears and your lips feel normal/dry again. Of cource, this tint doesn’t survive any fatty foods either, but for a lip tint it shows a descent lasting time.

Aritaum World Glam Coating Tint

All in all, I love this tint. It became one of my favourites, especially when I go to work I love using it, because it stays long enough and I can reapply once or twice and that’s it…and even if I don’t, it leaves a natural stain and doesn’t look ugly while fading. If you are a lip tint lover – or lip product lover- I can recommend you to try the Aritaum World Glam Coating Tint. I think I will make sure to grab one or two other shades from this collection. you can buy this product for 14.99 US$ at ibuybeauti.

Review: Aritaum Wannabe Cushion Tint Megan

28. July 2013
Hey ♥
Some time ago I reviewed Aritaum’s Wannabe Cushion Tints in “Summer” and “Clair” (review >> here <<). I really liked them a lot and so I decided to buy more of them. This time I’ll be reviewing “Megan”, which is one of the new colors for the cushion tints which have been released recently.

Aritaum’s Wannabe Cushion Tint comes in form of a pen with two ends, one containing the tint/ lip stain and one for the cushion. The packaging of each of the pens is different and they have written their names in golden letters on their caps. I really love the packaging *_*
You can use the cushion or sponge applicator in order to blend the lip tint and create a gradient effect on your lips. Below, you can see the swatches for the lip concealer “Clair” and the shades “Summer” and “Megan” in comparison. I’m wearing lip concealer on the last image.
As I said in my review before, the texture of Aritaum’s Cushion Tints is very light and smooth. It feels nice while wearing. And they have a nice sweet scent. Megan smells of some flower/honey mixture, I really like it. I would recommend not to overdo the lip concealer if you want to use one before and have dry lips, because it will just look terrible, when it settles into the creases of your lips. Instead I tried only to dab the concealer lightly on my lips and it worked perfectly.
The staying power is as with all lip products good, as long as you don’t drink and eat to much. It still leaves a stain behind after all though.:)
I bought mine from Testerkorea for 8,500 Won (~8,50 US$) not including shipping (shipping depends on weight).

Review: Aritaum Wannabe Cushion Tint Clair and Summer

30. June 2013
Hey everybody ♥
If you follow me on instagram you might have seen already that I’m up to some new reviews these days. I’ll start of today with the brand Aritaum and their Wannabe Cushion Tints. I just bought myself two of these: one of them is called “Clair” and is a lip concealer, the other one is called “Summer” and is a bright red-orange color.
Aritaum is part of Amore Pacific Group and I discovered it by reading the blog of Mizuchan (click here ♥). I was instantly curious about this lip product, partly because the packaging is really nice, too :D
The Cushion Tint is formed like a pen with two ends. One for the tint/ lip stain and one for the cushion. The packaging of each of the pens is different and they have written their names in golden letters on their caps.

You can use the cushion or sponge applicator in order to blend the lip tint and create a gradient effect on your lips. Below, you can see the swatches for the lip concealer “Clair” and the shade “Summer”, on the right side I blended the red color out with help of the provided cushion.
And here I’ll show you how both products look on my lips. I applied lightly the lip concealer first. Then I added the red color and blended it outwards to create a gradiation effect.
As you can see, I didn’t overdo the color on my lips, because I wanted to create a smooth and natural look and it is really easy to achieve with this pens. I never tried to create a gradiation effect on lips before, but I was really surprised how simple it was. Also, the texture of Aritaum’s Cushion Tints is very light and smooth. It feels nice while wearing. And they have a nice sweet scent, a bit like vanilla and candy mixed together. I would recommend not to overdo the lip concealer if you have dry lips, because it will just look terrible, when it settles into the creases of your lips. Instead I tried only to dab the concealer lightly on my lips and it worked perfectly.
The staying power is as with all lip products good, as long as you don’t drink and eat to much. It still leaves a stain behind after all though.:)
I am completely happy with these two pens and with that product in general. I will totally be buying more of these. There are still 9 other colors to test, and I read that there will be new colors available, too (link).
You can find Aritaums Wannabe Cushion Tints
– on ebay for around 10 US$
– on twofacemall for15.50 US$
– on Testerkorea for 8,500 Won (~8,50 US$)
