Graveyard: November – February Empties 2015/2016

My last emties post was back in October! So here is a long post about my November – February Empties 2015/2016 this time. I hope this can give you an idea of which products I really liked and didn’t and which I would love to repurchase.

Moonlab Real Cooling Thermometer Mask – I loved these! I would really like to repurchase them as well, but I still have a huge amount of sheetmasks, so it will take some time until I have the chance. Read my review >>here<<. Repurchase? Yes!
Cossu Body Ade Rose – This body wash smells so amazing, given the fact that you love the scent of roses. The body wash was part of a Cleopatra themed MeMeBox and I loved using it. Unfortunately, the pump was not working properly, which made it hard to use. It was labelled with a price-tag of 29 US$, which I’m still doubtful about. For a cheaper price I would consider repurchasing it. Repurchase? Maybe.
COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner – A very good toner which I can recommend you to try. I didn’t repurchase it because I wanted to try something else, but still I can say that there are many bloggers whoc love this toner. See my review >>here<<…Repurchase? Yes.
Fairydrops Platinum Mascara Film Type – I enjoyed using it, but it started to clump quite fast. It does a good job in legthening and curving the lashes, but it doesn’t give the amount of volume I’d like to have. Here is my >>review<<. Repurchase? No.
Dove DermaSpa Goodness³ Body Lotion – This bodylotion has a nice scent, but unfortunately it starts peeling and doesn’t really sink into the skin. Read my review >>here<<. Repruchase? No!
Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Pack – I love Too Cool For School’s packaging design, no doubt about that, and this pack made the skin tightened and smooth, but I couldn’t use it too often because of my dry skin. People with oily skin might love this, or if you have dry/combination skin apply it only on your T-zone. Here is my >>review<< Repurchase? Maybe.
Nivea In-Shower Make-Up Remover – This didn’t work for me. I tried it in the shower, I tried it on its own. It simply doesn’t work the way it claims, I still have panda-eyes after using it and my makeup isn’t removed. Repruchase? No!
Innisfree Ampoule Intense Cushion – The first Cushion I used up, after flipping the cushion over and over and getting out all the mini-bits from this awesome bb cream. I still have two refills, so I’m really happy and can advise you to give it a try, especially in cold seasons. Read my review >>here<<. Repurchase? Yes!
Shiseido Extra Gentle Shampoo For Dry Hair – A good shampoo, which didn’T feel drying on my hair, but still I preferr the Shiseido Tsubaki Shampoo over this one. Repurchase? Another shampoo from Shiseido maybe.
Lush The Olive Branch – A mediterranian smelling shower gel with a herbal scent. This was nice, but a kind of more manly scent. Repurchase? Probably not this one exactly.
HIPP Shampoo and Showering – I bought this for the obvious reason of the Seal packaging! It’s kid’s shampoo and has a nice baby-powdery scent and is gentle. Repurchase? Yes!
Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner Pen – I love this pen! A pitty the pretty ornaments were vanishing by the time. Read my review >>here<<. Repurchase? Yes, but there are so many other brands to try.
Avène Very High Sunprotection 50 + – This is a really heavy sunscreen and it leaves a good thick white cast and has a neutral cream scent (which I do not like that much). Repurchase? No!
Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Soap – This super rich and dense foam was really fun, but to drying to use on my face, so I used it as shaving foam. Read my review >>here<<. Repurchase? No.
Figs & Rouge Lip Balm Cherry Blossom – This had a bad taste the second moment, so I didn’t really use it up. Also, I’m not much into cherry scented products. Repurchase? No.
Schwarzkopf GlissKur Damage Repair Hair Treatment – I love this line of hair care because it smells of chocolate. I also liked using this hair treatment. Repurchase? Yes.
Purederm Make-up Cleansing Tissue Green Tea – These were part of a MeMeBox, too. I really like Cleansing Tissues, especially after a long night when you are too lazy to cleanse your face or when travelling. Unfortunatelly, these were’nt the most effective tissues I used. Repurchase? No.
COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch – My secret weapon for a newly appearing pimple. I still have more of these, but I wanted to pint out that I really love them. See my review >>here<<. Repurchase? Yes.
a;t fox Lifting Cream and Moisturizing Gel Cream – Another product from my MeMeBox hoardings. Such a lovely packaging, but the creams were so-so. Nothing special. Repurchase? No.
Palmolive Aroma Sensations Feel Glamorous Shower Gel Peeling – a lovely shower peeling with a nice scent. Repruchase? Maybe.
bebe Young Care (Johnson’s) Smoothie Shower Gel – Loved the scent! Repurchase? Maybe.
Rojukiss Multi Vita Cleansing Powder – This is the first cleansing powder I’ve been trying. I really like the fact that cleansing powders are so leightweight and perfect for travelling because there is no danger of leaking. I discovered that there is a risk of them to clump when stored in humid places (like the bathroom). Read my review >>here<<. Repurchase? MAybe another cleansing powder.
Kneipp Bath Oil – I have a couple more of these and I like the scent a lot. I like Kneipp products in genereal :D Repurchase? Maybe.
Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo – The size of this was perfect for travelling. Unfortunatelly the spraying nozzle didn’T work anymore after 3 uses and I had to discard it. Repurchase? Maybe.
ISANA Young Make-up Remover and Cleansing Gel – A cheap drugstore cleanser. I didn’t like the scent and it is not the most effective makeup remover either. Repurchase? No.
Kneipp Almond Blossoms Showering Gel – They have a body oil from the same line and I’m so much in love with the scent! Repurchase? Yes!
Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream – A BB cream which I can totally recommend. I was using it way more often on everyday occasions than my other BB creams. It has a nice tone and leaves a nice finish as well. Read my review >>here<<. Repurchase? Yes, but I have too many BB creams to use up.
Trusted Health Products Botanical Splash Body Oil – A body oil with a fruity orange-citrus scent which is very refreshening.Read my review >>here<< Repurchase? Maybe.
Daeng Gi Meo Ri Oriental Special Shampoo – This thick brown herbal shampoo works nicely, but can be leaving your hair dry. I used a hair treatment alweays after using it. This is only a travel-sized bottle, I still have the large bottle to use up. Read my review >>here<<. Repurchase? No, I’ll stick to my Shiseido or Damoae Therapy Shampoo, which I adore both!
OST C20 Pure Vitamin C21.5 Advanced Serum – This was my second bottle of the C21.5 Vitamin C serum, but unfortunately, I dropped the bottle when I was half through it and all the rest of my precious serum was lost T_T Read my review >>here<<. Repurchase? Yes.
MapleHolistics Vitamin C Serum – Despite my love for the Vitamin C serums from OST I really enjoyed using this serum! Read my review >>here<<. Repurchase? Maybe.
Lailly 7 Second Make-Up Booster – A nice makeup base with a baby powder scent. Read my review >>here<<. Repurchase? Maybe, but I have some other makeup bases to try.
Balea Cleansing Oil – If you have the possibility to get Balea products I can recommend you this cheap cleansing oil from the drug store dm. It costs a few euros (2-3 €) and is a good makeup remover. Still, asian cleansing oils have a nicer scent and seem to be more luxurious to the skin, but for quickly and simply cleansing your face this is great. It is also great for cleaning your makeup brushes and sponges. Repurchase? Yes!
BRTC Aqua Rush Cream – Wow! I used this up so quickly, despite having many other moisturizers to be tried. I loved the waterdrop texture of this cream. It was so refreshening. Read my review >>here<<. Repurchse? Maybe!
ElishaCoy Vita Capsule Cleanser – I didn’t review this product yet, although I hav it for quite a time. It was not my cup of tea to be honest and too drying on top, but it came with the ElishaCoy 3D Spin Cleanser (which is not available any longer on Wishtrend it seems), which I enjoy using few times a week. Repurchase? No.
Confume Argan Gold Treatment – I didn’t review this in detail yet, but I loved it! I used it up so quickly, too! Definitively recommendable for those having dry and frizzy hair! Also available on Wishtrend. Repruchase? Yes!
Coréana Sho EGFactor 28 Days Timeless Program Eye Cream – This was a good and nourishing ey ecream and had a really nice packaging, shaped like a seringe. I used up two of these and really liked it. Read my review >>here<<. Repurchase? Maybe.
Klairs Gentle Black Sugar Facial Polish – I preferr this over the one from Skinfood because it is more gentle. You can read my review >>here<<. Repurchase? Maybe.
Sum37 M;iracle Rose Cleansing Stick – I’m crying because I used it up already and I probably won’t be able to afford this luxurious cleanser in near future :D Lovers of rose scent will adore this cleansing stick! Read my review >>here<<. Repurchase? Maybe one day, hopefully!

Unboxing: MeMeBox The Empress’s Secrets

The last MeMeBoxes I ordered in 2014 (apart from the Innisfree Box which was unfortunately cancelled) were the MeMeBox The Empress’s Secrets and Cleopatra. Both boxes arrived before Christmas, but I was busy with a bunch of other reviews and Chrismas holidays that I didn’t have a chance to show you the content of these boxes. So, today I will be showing you what was inside the MeMeBox The Empress’s Secrets. MeMeBox is a box service company, offering a wide amount of different beauty boxes. Unlike most western beauty boxes which have to be subscribed for on a monthly basis, MeMeBoxes can be preordered but that doesn’t force you to buy more than the desired box. They ship to many countries and the products they send in their boxes are mainly Korean. Apart from their monthly Global Boxes, they also have a huge amount of themed boxes, MiniBoxes, Boxes where you know what is inside, so called Superboxes with a higher value and so on (check out the links at the end of the post)…just check out their online store and you’ll find a huge selection of different boxes. Since they have become very popular within the blogger community they sell out pretty fast, but they bring up new beauty boxes so fast, that you cannot keep up with them anyways. That was at least my experience during the last year. At the moment they seem to be focusing on their own brand and some collaborations with well-known blogger in the asian beauty blogger community. At the end of this post I will make a list of all the discounts they offer at the moment, too.

The MeMeBox The Empress’s Secrets comes with 5 products in total, four of them in fullsize, the other one as a deluxe sample. I ordered the Empress Box because I previously had the Oriental Medicine Box and I was hoping for this one to be similar. Other than the Oriental Medicine Box, in this box you will not find any ginseng related products. Let’s take a look at the product card from this box:

As you can see, this box focusses on skincare, as I expected from the name already. Here is the description for this MeMeBox:

These products were included:

1. Tosowoong Syn-ake Wrinkle Free Essence – fullsize (100 ml for US$ 30)

This anti-aging essence contains Syn-ake, a synthetic peptide whith a similar structure to snake venom, and other great ingredients, like galactomyces ferment. It is supposed to firm your skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. I never tryied any of the syn-ake containing products, but I’ve been always very curious to try, so I was happy about this essence.

2. Purederm Make-up Cleansing Tissue – fillsize (3ea for US$ 6)

Cleansing tissues are great for travelling and I like the fact that these contain green tea leaf :) I already used a couple of them and I like to have them. I would also have loved some sheetmasks in this box instead, but this isn’t bad either.

3. Soy BIO+ Fermented Lumpoule – deluxe sample (5 ml x 2, fullsize contains x 14 for US$ 174)

This super expensive ampoule with fermented soy bean lump was in a couple of other boxes already. I didn’t have any of the boxes containing it, so I was pretty happy about it, especially since a lot of people seem to like it…but with this price it is not likely that I will or can repurchase this, even if I do like it.

4. Daltokki Facial Scrub – fullsize (90 ml for US$ 30)

Another item I was happy about. I somehow like the packaging design of this product and I like the fact that it contains rice cake as ingredient. I’m really curious about this facial scrub andf I hope it will offer a gentle exfoliating of the skin.

5. Lime Nature Double Very Moisturizing Cream – fullsize ( 75 ml for US$ 39)

This is the only product from the box containing various medical herbs! I’m always happy about rich creams, since my skin tends to be dry and I’m looking forward to try this cream, but thanks to the MeMeBoxes I tried I still have a lot of creamy creams to empty before I can start with this :D

People in need of new skincare items will love this box! It contains cleansing tissues, a moisturizing cream, a facial scrub, an essence and an ampoule and thus contains all the steps you need for a proper skincare routine. I like the products in this box and I will be using all of them in future. I would have wished for more ancient korean themed products or product packaging, like the Daltokki Facial Scrub for example, but the products themselves are great.

1. Purederm Miracle Body Shaping Treatment (2x5US$) – fullsize product

I never tried any of these but I would like to know if thewy make any difference…I cannot image how it should work exactly…it contains caffeine, which reduces the puffiness, and also some other oils.

2. LG Health Care Slim Fit Sparkling Shot (14x7g – 24US$) – fullsize product

This is a sparkling podwer for water and it tastes like multi vitamin drinks. I try to drink one each day, as recommended, but I forget sometimes…the description says it is not effective if you don’t exercise in parallel…so I don’T think this will make any big changes.

3. Dermahouse Lifting Shape Up Hot Gel (200ml – 34 US$) – fullsize product

I was super happy about this product, and I was secretly hoping for something like this, since I saw a similar gel from Missha and was very curious about how it applies…and I really like this, because it really gets warm when applied. I use the included Massage Roller to apply it! This gel also contains caffeine, coffee extracts, hot pepper extracts, mate tea leaf extracts etc…

4. STC Massage Roller (1 piece x 6 US$) – fullsize product

Love using this ♥ As I said, I use it together with the Lifting Shape Up Gel.

5. SXM I Value Body Amoule (7 ml – 5 US$) – fullsize product

I didn’t use this yet, but this ampoule should be applied on the desired areas of your body and contains a couple of fancy ingredients with are supposed to break down cellulites.

6. Ferderma Egyptian Diet Soap (200g – 18US$) – fullsize product

I love the packaging of this soap, since I’m a lover of ancient egyptian arts. This soap has a fresh and minty scent like toothpaste and the scent filled the whole box when I opened it. I cut the soap into two hals and I’m currently using it. Other than I expected, it doesn’t melt away quickly (that’s why I cut it in halfs), and it is cooling on the skin. The scent is refreshing and it is a nice soap with great ingredients…if this helps you with your diet is not sure though.

7. KepaClub Frozen Body Ggong Ggong Gel (100g x 16US$) – fullsize product

This gel is supposed to be kept in the freezer. The gel shoulkd break down white body fat and prevent the brown body fat from growing. I put the gel into the freezer, but I didn’T use it until now, because the idea of putting something cool on my skin at the moment (the weather is getting cooler, too) doesn’t please me at all! Nevertheless, I will tell you guys about my experience :D

All in all, a nice box with all fullsize product. There are some items I really like, like the hot gel and the roller, as well as the diet soap. The others have to be tested yet. The box holöd up to my expectations of a “diet box” all together. What do you think? Any items you would love to try?

I was so excited about the MeMeBox Oriental Medicine since the moment I ordered it! Every box contains an overview card with the products and a description for the products. It is in English, which is great, especaially when the product packaging is only in Korean.

All in all we have 6 products: 2 of them are sheet masks, 3 are fullsized products and one is a deluxe sample kit. A great content for the tiny box as I must admit. :) Let’s see what each product is about:

1. Shib Jang Ceng Chun Ji Heang Hands Cream – 80 ml for US$17 (fullsized product)

This is a huge tube of hand cream with a nice scent. It feels nice and moisturizing on my first try and I will definitively use this up. It contains gingseng extract, shea butter and olive oil and is described as highly moisturizing. My first quick test was positive. :)

2. Purederm Korean Herb Mask – 19 ml*2 for US$2 (fullsized product)

4 different masks were available. I received the moisturizing mask called “Soo-an” and the brightening mask called “Myung-an”. The other masks were a refining mask and a hydrating masks, although I don’t know what the difference between the moisturizing and the hydrating mask will be. I didn’t try these yet (thanks to MeMeBox my decreased pile of sheet masks is growing again), but I really do like the packaging design. It looks very beautiful ♥

3. D’RAN Wonder Serum – 30 ml for US$30 (fullsized product)

I’m really looking forward to try this. It is said that it is made from 20 different Korean medical herbs like ginseng, black hoof mushrooms, licorice, portulaca and granoderma…It claims to give your face a deep nourishment and glowing complexion. Since I don’t have a serum in my skincare routine at the moment, I will add it. I hope it will make me look like a baby again, haha ;) In the direction it is written to use it before toner application. I would advice you to use it after toner, especially if you use a cotton pad for toner application. Otherwise you’ll wipe the serum off again.

4. Donginbi Donginbidam Red Gingseng Aqua Oil & Red Ginseng Aqua Pack Essence – 50 ml*2 for US$90/180 (deluxe sample with 5 ml*2)

Another product I’m really curious to try are these two. MeMeBox says that Donginbi is a super exclusive Korean department store brand. These contain red ginseng extract as main ingredient, which is known for it’s beauty-promoting properties. I will soon start trying these :)

5. Hanhui CC Cream – 50 ml for US$30 (fullsized product)

The last product is this beautiful CC cream containing ginseng extract, cactus extract and galactomyces fermented extracts. I will surely write a review on this one. I love trying new CC or BB creams.♥

In total I received a great box today. All the products are useful and interesting and the packaging of the products is beautiful, too. I cannot wait to try these on their efficiency :) Did anyone else order this box? How is your impression?
