Review: MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tint

It’s been a long time that I wrote a lip tint review and here I am with a very new Korean beauty brand and all their shades: the MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tint! I was so excited when I received these and started to try and test them out directly. Here is my final impression and all the swatches for the Cotton Shot Lip Tints. Thanks to Beautytap.com for providing me these lip tints for reviewing!

MeloMELI was totally new to me before I tried these tints and these were able to capture my attention from the start! The first thing I noted was the adorable packaging design and the signature melting heart. That combination with the crossed colts below the heart is simply screaming “PLEASE BUY ME!”. The design makes a modern and fresh impression, but definitely girly enough to score high in the cuteness scale. The brands name is said to derive from the French word for “mishmash”, which may reflect the inspirations taken from the classic 1960s style revamped with these modern vibes. There are currently 3 products available on Beautytap.com for this brand: a Cushion, Matte Lipsticks and these Cotton Shot Lip Tints.

The MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tint is a cotton-type tint, with a matte finish, but creamy texture. It is long-lasting, not drying, and has vibrant color pay-off according to the description of the tints. Since it has a creamy texture, but a matte finish it can be used as tint, but also as blush.

Each of the MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tints comes in a silver cardboard box. The design of the tube of the tints is very neat and minimalistic, with a silver cap and a white body. There is simply the brand name and the melting hard depicted.

There are 6 different shades available for the MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tint. The shades are listed below:

01 JB Swinging London Red: a cherry-toned red shade

02 JB Vintage Love Red Orange: a tomato-toned red shade

03 JB Moon Girl Orange: a coral /orange-toned shade

04 JB Hip and Mods Pink: a rose-pink shade

05 JB Love Holic Muse Coral: a coral/ peach-toned shade

06 JB Romantic funk Brick: a brick-colored brown/red-mix

Each MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tint comes with an angled applicator attached to the cap. The application is very smooth and creamy and the finish upon swatching is moist and glowy first. After a while the tint dries down and transforms to a matte and cotton-like texture. It reminds me of the Peri Pera Ink Velvet Tint that I showed in my post for my Beautytap.com for 11.40 US$. While swatching these I already discovered how pigmented these tints are. And all the shades really look different on my skin, too!

Upon applying these lip tints on my lips I was even more surprised that all of the colors seem to show on my lips. Usually, I have problems with brighter shades, because they don’t show on my natural lip color, but the Cotton Shot Lip Tints from MeloMELI are so vibrant, that there is no way that they don’t show off. You can also apply them either very lightly for a natural tint, or more vibrant and opaque. I have to point out that they don’t feel drying on the lips AT ALL, despite their matte texture. The staying power is not ultimately long, so it will fade after drinking and eating, but it fades very naturally and nice, so you do not need to check the mirror right away after eating lunch.

I have to say that I love these tints, and they feel wonderful while wearing them. I love the shades, too, especially shade 03 and 04, which are nice every day colors, but especially the brick-red shade 06! It looks so beautiful and I’m definitely in love for it. If you love tints you will not regret getting one of these beauties for yourself. I was really happy and impressed with the cotton shot tints.

Unboxing: InStyle Box Spring 2018

It’s spring, and this means it is time for another InStyle Box! The InStyle box has become one of my favourite subscription boxes, for several reasons: first, it is not a monthly box, so you have enough time to use up the products that you receive. Second, it is always filled with so many versatile products, and really stands out among other subscription boxes. I received the InStyle Box Spring 2018 for reviewing purpose and here is what’s inside:

The InStyle Box is curated by the InStyle Magazine, and provides you with trendy items for the season. I received some of the InStyle Boxes from previous seasons, too, and if you are curious you can have a look at the past boxes >>here<<.

Of course, for spring, the products are dedicated to the season. But it is not only spring that we feel with this box, but also summer and sun, thanks to a bunch of fruity and exotic products. The box is packed with 10 different products and a sample, together with a booklet with descriptions and more discount coupons.

InStyle Box Sticky Notes Cloud

The first thing that jumped into my seight were these cloudshaped sticky notes! I’m a sucker for cute stationary and this happy cloud sticky note just shot an arrow through my heart. A wonderful and happy design that makes us feel the warmer seasons (retails for 6.95€).

Korres Mango Lip Butter

This one looks so rich and smells yummy that you want to dip your fingers in. The Mango Butter is everything you need from a lip butter. It contains shea butter and rice wax for moisture, thistle oil for nourishment, and Vitamin C and E. Sounds nice and perfect to hydrate your chapped winter lips (retails for 9.99€).

Sexyhair Healthy Soy Renewal Hair Oil

This Hair oil contains soybean extract for nourishing and Argan and sunflower oil for giving your dry hair some glow. Moreover the oil is supposed to be lightweight and offers UV protection. and it will reduce the time for drying your hair (retails for 26,95€)

Bellapiérre Cosmetics Banana Setting Powder

I already received one of this Banana Setting Powder with a past Glossybox, and it is really a lovely color-correcting and mattifying powder. It also has the ability to make dark eye areas appear brighter. The fine powder has been raved about all over in the online community. (retails for 25€).

Rimmel London Royal Blush

This cream Blush in the color Coral Queen is the perfect shade for spring and summer. The blush claims to be lightweight and not greasy, but blend in nicely and leave a satin finish (retails for 6.99€).

Lord & Berry Conceal It Crayon

That’s the first time I have a concealer crayon. I’m used to liquid type concealers but this small crayon is perfect for carrying around and it also can be used for highlighting. A pity it doesn’t come with a sharpener though (retails for 16.00€).

Avon mark.Epic Lip lipstick

This lipstick comes in a beautiful shade that is called “Rosy Outlook”, a very versatile and spring suited shade that will suit most people. This lipstick is a long-lasting one containing primer in its formulation to make it stay for hours. I’m really curious if this will hold up to its claims. Apart from this shade there are 16 more shades available (retails for 11.00€).

Lancaster Micellar Delicate Cleansing Water

Micellar Waters are one of my favourites when it comes to cleansing.They are usually formulated in a mild way and don’t dry out the skin. I haven’t tried any products from Lancaster, so I’m really curious to try this one (100ml retail for 5 €).

Lancaster Sun365 BB Body Cream

Additionally to the Micellar Water, a BB Body Cream by Lancaster was included in the box. This sun cream with SPF15 helps with tanning the skin in spring without including any self-tanning ingredients. It also contains some bronzing particles to give the winter skin a first sun-kissed glow.

28 Black Absolute Zero Guave Passion Fruit

An Energy Drink without Taurin and preservatives, that is vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free. I’m personally not an energy drink lover, but I know some people who would love this alternative (250ml retail for 1.49€).

Heimatgut Coconut Chips

I love coconut chips and they always make me feel like living on an exotic island and enjoying the sun. The coconut chips from Heimatgut are available in two versions, original and caramel fudge. I tested the originals (of course they were the first thing to be eaten after taking the pictures), and they taste very delicious (40g retail for 1.79€).

So far the InStyle Box never let me down. The products have a value that exceeds the price of the box and the products are nice choices for the warmer seasons . It is hard to decide which product is my favourite from the box, since I’m happy with all of them. The InStyle Box Spring 2018 is available on shop.instyle.de for 29.90€ and comes with 3 e-paper versions of the InStyle magazine. The InStyle Box is released every three months, for each season.

It’s spring officially! To be honest, it doesn’t feel like spring at all here were I live. We even had snow last weekend again, and at the moment all I wish for is some warm weather above 10° C. This is usually the time, when the dark toned clothes I wear are gradually replaced by flower prints, and also the lipsticks and tints I use have more vibrant and spring-like colors. The product here are my favorites at the moment. Although they are not the latest or brand-new products, but I love their vibrant colors and the way they feel on the lips. And there is nothing like a pretty color to make you feel like spring!

Labiotte Wine Lip Tint RD01

I’m obsessed with this lip tint! First of all, the packaging is perfect. A tiny wine bottle! Why not?! And while I was using lip tints very often in the past, the last months I neglected them. This one brought back my love for them. This shade has a cherry red shade and the stain lasts a long time. It is water-based lip tint, and there are 6 different shades available. And, by the way, it contains wine extract! They retail for 14.76 US$ from Beautytap* for example (check out the current coupons and discounts >>here<<).

Heimish Dailism Serum Rouge Lipstick “All Night”

These are probably the most hydrating lipsticks I have. They glide so smoothly and the shades are so pretty, and I reviewed three of them back >>here<<. But this vibrant pink shade is made for spring moods! I don’t wear a lot of pinks, but this one might be a pink shade that suits almost everyone. Also, I love the magnetic cap and the sleek design of these lipsticks. They retail for 14.99 US$ from Amazon.com* / Jolse.

Missha Chiffon Painting Rouge CRD01

When I bought this I used it a couple of times and forgot about it. This was the time when matte and velvety lipsticks became very popular and I bought too many of them to really appreciate the single one. Recently, I rediscovered it in my stash, and what can I say, I love the mousse-like texture and that feel on the lips. If you are curious you can read my review >>here<. M.A.C. Retro Matte Lipstick “Ruby Woo”

This is probably my favorite lipstick ever and always! The most classic red shade together with that retro texture is my go-to-lipstick for nights out. It lasts a long time and is everything you expect from a lipstick. It retails for 23 US$ from Amazon*, or any MAC-store.

Peri Pera Peri’s Ink Velvet No. 6 “Celeb Deep Rose”

I haven’t had time to review this one, but I’m using it very often. It has a lovely velvet texture and a semi-matte finish. Moreover, I love that dusty rose shade. There are 10 different shades available for these velvet inks.The texture is mousse-like, but feels super soft and velvet-y on the lips. And no need to say, that these ink-bottle shaped containers from Peri Pera are super cute! These retail for 10.42 US$ from Beautytap* (check out the current coupons and discounts >>here<<).

Review: Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor

A while ago I received an amazing package containing all 15 colors of the new Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor by the German drugstore Rossmann. I want to share my impression and the swatches of all 15 shades with you today:

I remember years ago that the brand Revlon was available in German drugstores. Then, suddenly, the brand was taken off the German market. Many people who loved that brand had to get the products from this brand during vacation in other countries or order from abroad. This year the German drugstore Rossmann announced the relaunch of Revlon in Germany. Welcome back, Revlon!

As the name says, the Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor is a gel formula lipstick containing hyaluronic acid for moisturizing the lips. They glide on very smoothly and don’t feel drying on the lips, rather they feel very lightweight on the lips. Furthermore, they have a nice shine that they leave on the lips and yet have a good pigmentation. If you are scent sensitive I have to tell you though, that these lipsticks have a fruity and noticeable scent (mango nd whipped vanilla according to the description).

I will start with the nude colors of the available shades from top to bottom:

700 “Sand”: a light beige shade and the nudest color of the lipsticks

705 “Dawn”: a dusty rose color

710 “Desert”: a pink-brown shade

715 “Arabica”: a brownish, rusty shade

720 “Pink Cloud”: a light girly pink color

Despite being the nude colors from the range all colors show up nicely and look different from one another. My favourite here is Arabica since it fits perfectly for the autumn season.

The next shades are in the bright reds and pinks from top to bottom:

725 “Sunset”: a dark coral shade with great pigmentation

730 “Tropical”: A vibrant ad bright pink

735 “Garden”: a darker, pigmented pink

740 “Coral”: a bright and vibrant coral shade

745 “Rhubarb”: a pigmented cherry red

From these colors “Sunset” and “Rhubarb” are my favourite colors.

The last 5 swatches are the darker berry shades from top to bottom:

750 “Lava”: a classy and beautiful red shade

755 “Adobe”: a dark red shade

760 “Vineyard”: a mauve color

765 “Blossom”: a vibrant purple shade

770 “Twilight”: a dark purple shade

This is the color range I love the most shades from. Favourites are “Lava”, “Adobe”, and “Vineyard”.

As you can see there is so much versatility in the shades and despite the shiny and lightweight formula the color pay-off of all the shades is visible and shows up nicely. My personal favourites are from the darker shades, simply because pale pink colors don’t suit me much and the lighter shades don’t show up nicely because of my natural lip color. I really love the feeling when applying the lipsticks because they glide so nicely and leave a pretty sheen on the lips as well. They do not last forever though, but at least fade away nicely. The Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor comes in a slim pen-size and retails for 10.99€.

Review: Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink

I love red lipstick, especially when going out in the evening. But the thing that has always bothered me is the longevity of lipsticks, especially after food and drinks. And the more prominent the color, the more visible it is when it actually fades away. On my hunt for a long-lasting lipstick I have really tested many different ones. I also found some inks and tints that had a really good stain and were comparably long-lasting. But this really exceeded my expectations: the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink!

Maybelline is a world widely known brand with the motto “Hot Trend From New York Made Easy!”. They create easy-to-use products with latest technologies used in the field of make-up. Since matte lipsticks have been a huge trend in the last time and now Maybelline created these new Maybelline Super Stay Matte Inks, which promise to last for 16 hours.

A total of 9 different colors are available and I had the chance to try one of them: #20 called “Pioneer”.

This vibrant red shade of liquid lipstick comes with a sponge applicator, as usual for lip glosses and inks. The tip of the sponge is pointed and makes the application easy.

As you can see from the swatch below the color is very pigmented, even with one stroke. It might be too bright and vibrant for people preferring a nude look, but if you like a good and vibrant red this shade is perfect for you. Unfortunately, I don’t have the picture of the lipstick on my lips for you here atm, because I took it with me on vacation and I haven’t unpacked everything yet :D The finish of the lipstick once it has dried is a matte one, as it says in the name already. The best part about this lip ink is that it lasts a very long time! It even lasted during a four-course dinner including drinks!!! I was so amazed when I got back to my room and looked inside the mirror. But, as you can imagine, it is also very hard to remove it fully. I didn’t have any cleansing oil with me (which might have made it easier), so even after using cleansing tissues and cleansing water, and having a shower my lips had a light red stain on them. AMAZING!

If you ask me whether I’m convinced about the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink I can only say: YES! It really keeps what it says and lasted me for a whole day including food and drinking. Of course it also depends on the color, because this one is very pigmented and vibrant and it will stain your lips for a longer time, then a brighter color. If you are looking for a matte and red colored lipstick that will last you for a long time I can really recommend you to try these lipsticks from Maybelline. Nevertheless, I want to point out that this shade does not like the color in the promotional pictures on the website (at least not for my screen adjustments), so be sure to check for swatches online before you decide for a shade…or go to the store. They retail for around 9 € in drugstore or Amazon.

Review: HICKAP Lip Pencils & Lipstick

Within the next days I’m going to share a couple of reviews introducing make-up products from the HICKAP I’m very excited about these reviews since I was send so many products, which I didn’t except and also since some of the products have become part of my daily make-up, too. Today, I will start with the HICKAP Lip Pencils & Lipstick:

Let me start with an introduction to the brand: HICKAP is a Swedish clothing and make-up brand brought to life by Wilma and Emil Holmqvist. These two created a YouTube channel with the purpose to enspire people and they were successful with it. Wilmas Beauty is one of Swedens most popular YouTube channels for teenagers these days. Their newly released brand and its first collection is based on the idea of affordable products boosted with confidence and class. Also, if you are familiar with the online Swedish retailer NA-KD you maybe came across HICKAP, too.

I was really surprised to find so many products reaching from all ranges of HICKAP’s make-up products. After taking all the pictures I knew that I couldn’t put all the pictures in one post, so I grouped them after all. I will start with the HICKAP Lip Pencils & Lipstick today, and continue with the Blushes and Bronzer, and the Eyeshadow Palette and Brushes. But first let’s appreciate the minimalistic and very clean design of the HICKAP products. Black is the main color with a very simply white lettering. The design reminds me of timeless brands like MAC or in kbeauty terms Stylenanda’s 3CE.

As you know, I love lip products and one of my favourite lip colors is classy red. I was more than happy to spot a red lipstick. Additionally, three different lip pencils completed the set of lip products here.

HICKAP Lipstick “Red Carpet”

“Red Carpet”, the name already reveals the classy color of this lipstick: a vibrant red shade, like the beautful people in Hollywood would wear.

“A red lipstick that make your lips pop. Stand out from the crowd with lipstick from HICKAP. Here I am!”

Like all products from HICKAP the lipstick is cruelty-free. Also, it contains different plant based oils to provide your lips with moisture and create that creamy lipstick finish.

HICKAP Lip Pencils

I received the HICKAP lip pencils in three shades called “Sour”, “Plum”, and “Candy Apple”. All pencils come with a cap to protect the tip and have to be sharpened wih a regular sharpener, once blunt. And also here, all of them are cruelty-free.

“Sharping your lips and makes them fleeky. Smile!”

“Sour” is a rose brown color for your lip shape. It has that classy nude shade that is quite liked by many people these days. “Plum” is a light plum color, that has a cool undertone. “Candy Apple” is an intensive red that also fits perfectly to the HICKAP lipstick in “Red Carpet”.

Below you can see the swatches for all four products starting with the lip pencils from the left in “Sour”, “Plum”, and “Candy Apple”. The lipstick is shown on the right. As you can see all the shades are vibrant and pigmented and even the nude shades show up on the skin.

But also on the lips all colors are distinct and show up even on my darker toned lips. The HICKAP Lip Pencils are harder to work with, because they are not very creamy. It is important to have scrubbed the lips before to avoid that flaky skin is emphasized. Especially shade “Sour” works best on perfctly smooth lips. The staying power of the red lip pencil is the best of these three shades, because the stain keeps staying on the lips until eating a proper meal. The nude shades dissapear quite qickly though. All the lip pencils have a matte finish. The lipstick is creamier and easier to apply compared to the lip pencils. It has a classy cream lipstick finish and is easier to work with than the lip pencils. It does not have the same long-staying stain as the red lip liner, but the lip liner and the lipstick in combination do the trick.

I’m always happy to get to know new make-up brands and especially new lip products. I love the three shades of the HICKAP and how pigmented they all are, despite their shade. Also, the staining power of the red lip liner was really convincing. I’d have loved if the bullet of the pencils would be slightly more creamy than it is now, because it would make it better suited for people with dry lips. The HICKAP lipstick is very classy and has a lovely and perfect consitency. You never can go wrong with red lips.

Review: RdeL Young Fabulous Kit Eye Shadow & Lip Colour Palette

I received these two beautiful RdeL Young Fabulous Kit Eye Shadow & Lip Colour Palettes in December and I feel really sad that I was not able to show these earlier on my blog. Unfortunatelly this limited edition is not available any longer, but still, because of the beautiful colors and packaging I wanted to make a quick review for it here:

RdeL Young is a brand by the German drugstore branch Rossmann. They have affordable makeup products that target young girls and women. The limited edition “Fabulous Kit” consists of two palettes and a cute sequin makeup bag. The palettes are beautifully designed: they come in metal tins and have a vintage-y flower design in soft colors. I would say from the packaging design this collection is better suited for spring, because it definitely delivers some spring vibes, too!

Both palettes contain nine different shades of either lipstick or eye shadow- On the backside of the tins you will find a short description of the product.

The RdeL Young Fabulous Kit Lip Colour Palette contains nine shades of matte lipstick. The shades vary between pink, coral, berry and red and it really makes a nice selection of lip colours.

The RdeL Young Fabulous Kit Eye Shadow Palette contains 9 shades of eye shadow with matte and shimmer textures. The colour range is taupe/mauve and the shades are really neutral and suited for every day.

Here is a close-up of the RdeL Young Fabulous Kit Lip Colour Palette again. The metal tin comes with a mirror inside the lid, too. It doesn’t contain a lip brush though.

Below you can see the swatches of the nine shades. The application is easy and the texture of the lipsticks is creamy. For the darkest shade called “lovely dark” you have to pay more attention on applying it on your lips because it can get uneven depending on the status of your lips (use lip scrub before). The pigmentation of all the shades is good and clearly visible.

Also the RdeL Young Fabulous Kit Eye Shadow Palette comes with a mirror but no applicators.

The color selection is really pretty and neutral and suited for some every day soft smoked out eye makeup. The colors on the left called “quit rise”, “smooth satin” and “gentle noise” are very light pigmented. “smooth satin” and “gentle noise” are very pretty highlighters though. “quiet rise” on the other hand can be used as base and blending eye shadow. “make me shy” is a matte shade in the selection and also together with “perfect sense” and “trembling dark” the darkest shades from the selection.

All in all, I really love these RdeL Young Fabulous Kit Eye Shadow & Lip Colour Palettes and considering the price of 3.49 € they had they were really a steal! The color range of the lipstick palette is super versatile and the colors of the eye shadow palette are neutral and suited for an every day makeup, but also for a more smokey eye. The design of the metal tins with the vintage flower illustrations is super beautiful and therefore I just say: thumbs up! Did you get your hands on this limited edition? Review: L’Oréal Infaillible Lip Paint Matte

I mentioned in my Valentine’s Day post about my Top 6 Favorite Lip Products the L’Oréal Infaillible Lip Paint Matte. I just bought this one recently and I love it! I’ve been wearing it almost every day since then. Here is a more detailled review about this liquid lipstick:

L’Oréal Infaillible Lip Paints were recently released in Germany with 8 shades in total. These liquid Lipsticks are highly pigmented, with vivid and intense colors. L’Oréal released 4 Lip Paints Matte and 4 Lip Paints Lacquer. The Matte liquid lipsticks have a matte finish, whereas the Lacquers have a glossy finish. Both products claim to be long-lasting.

I selected one of the Lip Paints Matte in shade 205 “Apocalypse Red”. In the promotional pictures it looks more like a dark velvet red shade, but in real it is more of a berry/plum shade. The Lip Paints come in a tube packaging.

The tubes contain 8 ml of product each. The applicator is integrated into the cap and has a regular doe shape, which makes it very easy to follow the curves of your lips.

When swatched, the product first has a semi-matte finish, which can be blended out easily using your fingers or a Q-tip. The color is super vivid and and also very pretty. The finish is not super matte, but kind of moussy-matte. It doesn’t dry down like some other matte lip products, which also leads to a very light and comfortable feeling while wearing it on your lips. I did not have the feeling that it makes my lips feel dry. Also it has a bubblegum scent. The stain of the product is really great, though it does transfer when drinking or eating. It also is not like it sticks to your lips for all day, but because of the slowly faiding stain I would call it long-lasting still.

I really like this product maybe because it is simply the best mixture between almost-matte finish and nice feeling on the lips without dryness. L’Oréal Infaillible Lip Paint Matte retails at your local drug store or at Amazon.de for 7.95 €. Did you try any of the L’Oréal Lip Paints?

Tomorrow it is Valentine’s Day again. Do you celebrate it? I do not really celebrate it except for cooking something together or dining out. But no fancy presents or stuff like that. Spending time is more important after all. ♥ Nevertheless, it is never wrong to make yourself more pretty than you are by putting on some makeup…or at least put some more efford into your daily makeup. Since Valentine’s Day is about love of course the first thing that comes into my mind is kissing. Last year I wrote about how to achieve kissable lips in 3 steps (>>click here<<). After you have pampered your lips it is time to put on some color. I love red lips! It is the most sensual and classic color for lips. But there are so many different shades of red that it is not easy to decide on one. I picked 6 different shades of red and each of the products has their own special texture, reaching from glossy to matte.

Innisfree Real Fit Lipstick in shade 5

I reviewed this lipstick before and I must admit I’m a fan of Innifree lipsticks in general. I love their sleek design and their textures. The Real Fit Lipsticks have a good pigmentation and are a mixture between matte and shiny lipsticks. What I love especially is the rich raspberry shade of this lipstick. The Innisfree Real Fit Lipstick retails from W2Bauty for 14.27 US$.

The Etude House Twin Shot Lips has been one of my favorite to-go lip products during the last months. I love that it has two sides with two different colors and texture. One side has a mousse texture and a beige/nude color, the other side has a tint-type texture and a bright red shade. You can create beautiful gradient lip tones with this product, or use each of the sides by their own. The Etude House Twin Shot Lips retail for 14.40 US$ from the official Etude House.

L’Oréal Infaillible Lip Paint Matte in shade 205

This is my latest addition to my lip products collection and I love it so much, that I had to include it in this post. This red shade called Apocalypse Red is a rich dark red shade. The texture of this liquid lipstick is velvety and appears matte after drying down, without making your lips dry out. The L’Oréal Lip Paints retail for 17.87 €/ 7.96 € on Amazon.de.

Mac Retro Matte Lipstick in shade Ruby Woo

This is the shade that every women should have in their collection! The most classy cherry red matte lipstick! It retails for 24.94 US$ on Amazon.com.

Pony Effect Staying Matte Fit Lip Colour in shade Flawless

Another lip product that I’ve reviewed previously. This lipstick is a truly matte liquid lipstick in tomato red. The shade is so pretty and on top the product doesn’t leave a heavy or dring feeling on the lips. The Staying Matte Fit Lip retails for 26.26 US$ from W2Beauty.

Tonymoly Perfect Lips Shocking Lips in shade Red

Another product I already reviewed and mentioned several times on my Instagram. This is also one of the lip tints I’m using most often, especially when going out. First of all the red is super vibrant. Second, the stain of this tint is super super long-lasting. Even from all these swatches here, this one was the hardest to remove. This lip tint retails for W2Beauty for 13.07 US$.

Below you can see the swatches of all the shades. They look so versatile although all of them are simply red shades! I love how different red can actually be, not boring and old-school at all in my opinion. Which of the shades is your favorite?

Review: Banila Co. It Moist Seoul Tint

I have a new review for a lip product for you. You might know that I love lip tints and lipsticks and that I have really a lot, but the Banila Co. It Moist Seoul Tint had caught my attention several times before, but I always forgot to buy and try it until it was sent to me by Korean cosmetics online shop Qdepot.

Banila Co. first came into my focus when everybody started to rave about their Cleansing Balm. I even bought a couple of samples of it in order to try but I didn’t have the chance to write the reviews yet. Other than that this Korean brand reminds me of benefit when I look at their logo and design of their skincare and makeup products. Also their design is modern and trendy, appealing to young women.

What caught my attention in first place was the packaing design. The lip tint comes in a cardboard box with the illustration of a beautiful yound and stylish woman. Banila Co. It Moist Seoul Tint is a mousse type tint providing a velvet finish. There are 5 shades available in total.

I selected shade #04 called Beeone, a red peach shade according to the description. The bottle of the tint is quite adoreable. It shows the phrase “I ♥ Seoul”, showing the color of your tint through these letters.

The tint comes with a angled brush applicator, that can be easily used to apply the liquid product. It has a thicker texture than a gloss and the term mousse really describes it best, although the finish is appearing moist. It feels velvety on the lips though. If applying a thick layer the product tends to bleed out, so I would recommend this lip tint for a more soft and gradient finish. It is also not transfer-proof and dissapears after eating and drinking, but the color itself is super pretty and it doesn’t feel drying on the lips.

The color of the Banila Co. It Moist Seoul Tint is defintely a hit for me. I love the tomato red shade and in my eye the description of a red peach shade can be confusing. I also love the mousse texture of the product. Of corse because it is not long-lasting it is not the perfect tint, but it is good for everyday use and has also a nice packaging design in addition.
