Unboxing: Glossybox June 2013 Grazia Edition

28. June 2013
Hey there,
this week my Glossybox for June arrives. This month they have a collaboration with the magazine “Grazia”. The box and the rest of the packaging were changes and everything was represented in “Grazia” colors black and yellow. On top you got the magazine for free, which is a nice idea. Generally this month they had a lot of nice products. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the products I would have liked most :/

This is what I had in my Glossybox June 2013:

Rituals Yogi Flow Shower Foam (8.00 € / 200ml – box contained travel sized product)

Astalift Replenishing Day Cream (52.00 € / 30g – box contained sample sized product)

Zoeva 230 Pencil (5.80 € / 16,5cm – box contained original sized product)

Biodroga SPA SENSATION satin powder in luxurious powder puff (9.90 € each – box contained original sized product)

Conclusion:
When I opened the card and saw the brand Kryolan I was very happy first, because I thought I’ll get one of the lip & cheek color tubes. That would have been great. But it was eye shadow, which would not have been too bad, actually, but in green?! Seriously? I hardly use eyeshadows at all, and if, I go for brown or black…I’m not yet sure what to do with this eyeshadow :D The brush from Zoeva is nice, but here again, I rarely use eyeshadow…Perhaps it’s a sign for me to start practicing :D
The powder puff with the containing powder is nice and huge, but it doesn’t have anything for keeping it. I don’t know where to put it to prevent it from getting dirty, and from loosing powder all over my dressing table. Day creams are always useful. This time it’s a cream from Astalift. I still didn’t try the Eucerine cream from last month because I want to empty my current one first…I hope I won’t get another day cream next month XD
Last but not least, the shower foam from Rituals: This is actually the only product where I definitely will be able to use it up in near future. Also, I never tried Ritual products before, and the term !shower foam! makes me curious.
All in all, this is not the best box I got. If they would have put a nice tin for the powder puff at least I’d been more happy and I could hide my dissapontment about the green eyeshadow…Let’s see if I will be more lucky in July.

If you want to try GlossyBox by yourself, just go to their web page (here). They have different kind of boxes, too.

I actually think that green shadow looks very pretty! But I don’t really use much eye shadow either. xD These box openings are always fun to see :D

    • Fräulein Schnee 29. June 2013 at 10:17

Yes, mostly I go for eyeliner only and that’s it..eye shadow is just too time consuming, and sometimes it looks really strange on me XD I hope I’ll have more luck next time ;)

  • Bethany 29. June 2013 at 9:53

I’ve heard great things about Kryolan eye shadows. ;3 It’s quite a wearable green, from the looks of it.

    • Fräulein Schnee 29. June 2013 at 10:15

The quality will be good, no doubt…but it’s just that I rarely wear eyeshadow :D And if glossybox would consider the beauty profile which you had to fill in at the beginning, they would not have send me the third eyeshadow in a row :D

  • Lisa 29. June 2013 at 15:58

I can see why you gave it a 3/5. Nothing is worse than getting a good product in a color that isn’t right for you. Maybe you can trade someone?

    • Fräulein Schnee 30. June 2013 at 14:50

Yes, I was thinking about trading or giving it away, too…we’ll see :)
