Unboxing: InStyle Box Spring Edition 2021

It’s time for the unboxing of the InStyle Box Spring Edition 2021 that arrived on my doorstep a few days ago and I want to share the amazing content with you! As usual, the InStyle Box is so packed with awesome products, and in my opinion, it is one of those subscription boxes that is worth the money.

It’s spring and we are still in the midst of the Covid-Pandemic, so this time the InStyle Box is dedicated to self-care and feel-good, with a versatile range of products.

Gokos EyeLighter (19.90€/pc)

This EyeLighter Pen is a double-sided pen with a soft broad spongy side and a more pointy one. The color is a bright nude color, with shimmering particles that can be used in an everyday look. The pigments are inside the caps, so it uses the twist-mechanism that many Korean and Japanese brands have used in the past. The name of the brand is made from the English word “Go” and the German word “Kosmetik”, meaning cosmetics, creating products that are easy to use on the go.

Coxir Black Snail Collagen Eye Cream (16 €/ 30ml)

I’m so happy to see a KBeauty brand in this box. Coxir is a rather new brand to me and the Black Snail Collagen skincare line combines snail secretion filtrate, black bean, and collagen as key ingredients for anti-aging and elasticity. And apart from these ingredients, I spotted so many good plant-based ingredients, like sesame, rice, ginseng, honeysuckle, tomato, etc.

Head & Shoulders Supreme Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner (3.95€ each)

I have dry and frizzy hair so every haircare providing moisture sounds great to me and I’m keen to try. This line from Head & Shoulders comes with Argan Oil and Coconut Oil, which are both great for hydration.

InStyle Box Bracelet (24.95€ /pc)

A cute golden bracelet that comes in a red bag.

Avon Loaded Lip Lacquer (11€/ 7ml)

This lip lacquer from Avon comes in a vibrant pink shade, that fits perfectly for spring. The liquid lip paint has a glossy finish and contains oils for extra nourishment of the lips while wearing the lip color.

Elle Decoration Decoration by Crown ( 2.99€ / 0.125 l)

This one came totally unexpected, and I was wondering what it is until I realized, that this is a jar of wall/furniture paint in the color “enchanted ivy”, a beautiful jungle-green color. I will use this for some picture frames or plant pots and I’m happy to see some DIY products in the InStyle box.

acáo Pomgranade Drink (1.65€ / 265 ml)

This caffeine-containing drink with Pomgranade flavor contains mint and guarana makes me dream of traveling with this colorful bird design. I can imagine that this is a very refreshing drink, especially since it contains mint extract.

Maria Galland Nail Polish (22€ / 7 ml)

This nail polish from Maria Galland Paris is the perfect nude color for spring.

Dermaroller Mask and Dermaroller HC902 (mask: 8.39€/pc ; roller: 63.90€)

Apart from the Coxir product, this was definitely one of the highlights. The InStyle Box came with the sheet mask and a voucher for a Derma -Roller from the same brand. The roller was not included in the Box, because it didn’t fit. On my first try, the voucher didn’t work, and I was a bit disappointed. But I tried again on another day and suddenly it worked perfectly. I was totally happy when the roller arrived already on the next day! This was so fast! Can’t wait to use both now.

The content of the InStyle Box Spring Edition 2021 is amazing once again! The colors of the decorative cosmetics fit the spring season and I love the skincare products included, I’m looking forward to trying the Dermaroller and the Coxir Eye Cream and I’m happy to see KBeauty in this box. Usually, the box retails for 29.95€, if you only get one box, but it gets cheaper with a subscription. Since the Dermaroller on its own is already worth around 60 €, this box definitely makes up for its price.

Review: A’Pieu x Rilakkuma Air-Fit Cushion Blusher

Who can resist Rilakkuma? I can’t, that’s for sure :D Here, I have the A’Pieu x Rilakkuma Air-Fit Cushion Blusher in shade BR01 fo you.

The A’Pieu Rilakkuma was published some time ago, and is no new edition. I simply wanted to share this post because of the beautiful pics of this blusher cushion. There were a total of 5 colors available for this cushion blushers. The one here is a brown bronzer-like shade.

If you haven’t used a cushion blusher, it is very easy to use, too. Similar to a cushion foundation, it comes in a pact with a sponge compartment that is soaked with the blush liquid. Using a cushion puff that is pressed onto the soaked sponge, the product is transferred on the puff and can be applied onto the cheecks.

Even the cushion puff has a Rilakkuma print and is so adoreable.

Compared to cushion foundations the pact of the A’Pieu x Rilakkuma Air-Fit Cushion Blusher is much smaller. But it comes with a mirror inside the lid aswell.

The texture of the blush is creamy and it has a nice glow aswell. The brown color is very light and also suited on fairer skin types. It can be blended in very nicely, too.

All in all, despite having a cute design, the A’Pieu x Rilakkuma Air-Fit Cushion Blusher is also easy to use and can create a very natural finish. It also can be layered and provides a nice glow.

Since it’s fall, it is also time for a new unboxing: the InStyle Box Fall Edition 2019 box arrived on my doorstep a few days ago and I want to share the amazing content with you!

Fall is a favorite season for many people. It’s that time of the year where orange and red hues are all around and we start to enjoy being cozier. pumpkin, chocolate, and a richer skincare routine are some of the things that pop into my mind when thinking about the new season. BioOleo Cosmetics Sweet Almond Oil (50 ml / 13,86 €)

The temperatures are getting colder, so it is the perfect time to introduce some facial oils into our skincare. sweet almond oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins and helps to make the skin soft and smooth. It is also suited for sensitive skin types.

Sol de Janeiro Coco Cabana Cream (25 ml / 8,49 €)

I’ve been seeing the body products from Sol de Janeiro all over Instagram lately, so I’m very happy about seeing this product in the Instyle Fall Edition 2019. It’s a hydrating body cream with an oil-in-water gel cream, formula. Fermented sugar and coconut oil nourish and hydrate the skin.

Starskin 7-Seconds Morning and Overnight Miracle Skin Mask Pads (2 pieces / 3,25 €)

These two multipurpose pads combine several skincare steps in one pad. The 7-Seconds Morning Miracle Skin Mask Pad combines massage, peeling, toner, serum, moisturizer, mask and makeup primer in one. The 7-Seconds Overnight Miracle Skin Mask Pads combines massage, exfoliator, toner, oil serum, night cream, sleeping mask and mood relaxer. I’m very curious if these pads will hold up to their claims.

Sante Lip Lacquer Color Gloss (9 ml / 4,99 €)

Sante is a natural cosmetics brand that has been on the market for over 30 years. The brand is 100% certified as a natural cosmetics brand in Germany. The Lip Lacquer Color Gloss is made with a high shine gloss formula and makes the lips appear more voluminous. Vitamin E and shea butter keep the lips nourished and hydrated.

The Humble Co. Humble Brush and Natural Toothpaste (brush: 1 Stück / 3,95 €, toothpaste: 75 ml / 3,99 €)

Sustainability and environmental friendliness can also be transferred to our dental care using toothbrushes that can be recycled and natural toothpaste. The humble brush has a handle made from bamboo and can be recycled. The charcoal toothpaste is the perfect companion for it.

Parsa Beauty Keratin Paddle Brush and Magic Pony (brush:1 piece/ 10,99 €), magic pony: 1 piece / 6,99 €)

This came perfectly in time: a new paddle brush. The Parsa Paddle Brush has natural bristles that are enhanced with keratin and help to brush through the hair more smoothly and give them more shine. The Magic Pony, on the other hand, allows you to make a perfect ponytail.

Hair Burst Chewable Hair Vitamins (30 pieces /13,50 €)

These hair gummies contain zinc, biotin, vitamin B₅, and selenium, which help to maintain healthy hair growth. The box contains 30 of the hair gums, and since it is advised to take two per day, this amount is suited for 15 days.

Great Lengths Heat & Care Spray (50 ml / 7,90 €)

This hair care spray provides moisture to the hair and protects it from heat damage of up to 300°C. It also makes the hair smooth and easier to comb through.

Tony’s Chocolonely Milk chocolate with Caramel and Sea Salt (180 g / 3,98 €)

This fairtrade whole milk chocolate is made in Belgium and contains 32% Cocoa. The bright orange packaging makes it perfect for fall, but all of Tony’s Chocolonely chocolates have a colorful packaging design. They are very popular in the Netherlands, by the way.

InStyle Box Scented Candle Pumpkin Spice (1 piece/ 10,00 €)

This pumpkin spice scented candle is perfect for the season. I already used it a couple of times and the scent is really nice, too.

The content of the InStyle Box Fall Edition 2019 is amazing once again! It was packed with so many products and they are perfectly selected for the season once again. Usually, the box retails for 29.95€, if you only get one box, but it gets cheaper with a subscription. The value of this box lies over 90€ in total, which is amazing! I’m especially curious about the Starskin Masking Pads and the Great Length Heat & Care Spray. I’m also very happy about the Parsa Paddle brush and the Sol de Janeiro Coco Cabana Cream. In total, I’m very happy with the box.

So Susan Dream Maker Light Shifting Highlighting Cream (10ml/29€)

This oil-free hybrid cream/gel has a holographic highlighting effect. I’m really looking forward to trying it. It’s available in 9 shades. The one here is called “Private Jet”, and has a golden hue.

Ardell Wispies (1pair/5.95€)

The Ardell Wispies False Lashes are known for their defined length and volume and still look very natural. The lashes are sorted in a crossed way, which makes them look like natural lashes.

InvisiBobble Hair Band Best Friends Forever (6pc)

These peach-colored hair bands have the perfect color for spring and look at these cute avocado charms attached to them. Super adorable!

ANNY Nail Polish “Mr. Crabs” (15ml/9.99€)

One of three spring shades of ANNY Nail Polish was included. The shades vary from pink, coral or orange. My box included the orange shade.

Freulein B But First Makeup (1pc/6.95€)

I’m personally loving silicone sponges for applying makeup. They are easy to clean and you don’t waste your product since it is not soaked up by any sponge or bristles.

Bilou Yummy Lemon 2in1 Body Spray and Creamy Shower Mousse (150ml&200ml/3.95€ each)

Citrus is a wonderful scent for spring and this duo of body spray and shower mousse seems to be the right thing to use during your morning shower.

Benton Aloe Soothing Mask (1pc/3.50€)

So excited to spot a kbeauty product in this box! It’s the famous Benton Aloe Soothing MAsk Pack containing 48% Aloe Essence. This mask provides moisture and is soothing. PErfect for dry skin type and the stressed winter skin.

Thomas Henry Coffee Tonic (0.2ml/1.30€)

The first Tonic beyond Gin! This tonic combines citrus and sparkling water with cold brewed coffee.

InStyle Flower Vase (1pc/9.95€)

This cute flower vase in pink delivers perfect spring mood and gives your home a pop of color, too. Unfortunately, mine came broken, but after writing InStyle via Instagram, they replied immediately and reshipped a new vase to me. I was surprised how easy and quick this worked and I’m happy to have an unbroken flower vase now.

Local & Urban Daily Journal Mini

A pre-designed Bullet Journal, for those not feeling creative enough or talented to draw, but still want to keep track on their days.

I’m really happy about this spring content and the products have been nicely chosen, especially regarding the colors for spring. I once again love how versatile the box is. My highlights are the flower vase and the Benton Sheet Mask. The InStyle Box Spring Edition 20198 is available on shop.instyle.de for 29.90€ and comes with 3 e-paper versions of the InStyle magazine. Top 10 (K-)Beauty Products 2018

Another year has passed and it’s time to share my favorite products reviewed in 2018 with you. It is always nice for me to look back on my posts that I wrote here on Berries in the Snow during the last year and think about the products that I really liked and used a lot! The products are mainly related to KBeauty, but I also included some brands that aren’t. If you tried any of the products yourself write a comment and let me know about your experience and if you share my thoughts or not. Favorite Skincare 2018

The amount of KBeauty brands is vast and there are new brands to discover all the time. I was able to discover some new brands during 2018 and there were some products and brands that I enjoyed a lot. First of all, I tried my first product from the brand 107 Oneoseven. Since I discovered that I actually love to use mists I fell in love with the 107 Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water. The 107 Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water is a rose water based mist that contains the famous vinegar. It is the perfect combination to provide moisture to your face whenever needed. It can be used after cleansing as toner, for setting makeup or before using masks. It comes in a cute pink colored spraying bottle, that sprays a very fine mist. I have discovered that this mist has also a very calming effect on my skin, too. You can read my review >>here<< and get this product from Beautytap.com.

I was also introduced to the brand Erborian and I love their products. The BB creams are great and also their skincare is lovely. The Erborian Bamboo Moisturizing Matte-Effect Eye Contour Gel was one of the most memorizable products I reviewed during 2018. It helps to visibly reduce the signs of fatigue: fine dehydration lines, under-eye bags, and skin dryness. The matte finish helps to soften the appearance of under-eye bags. This eye gel was so lovely to use during the summer. It really had this cooling effect and thereby was perfect for refreshing your eyes and make you look less tired. Read my review >>here<<.

Another brand that I loved last year has been Purito. I love their good quality products and clear ingredients lists. Here are two products that I reviewed in 2018 and really loved (and already used up). The Purito Centella Green Level All In One Mild Pad and the Purito Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream. The Centella Pad is a mild daily exfoliator and super convenient to use. Using 10% Centella Asiatica Extract as a key ingredient, this rich extract contains Asiaticosides, Asiatic acid and Madecassic acid and acts as mild BHA (beta hydroxy acid). Read my review >>here<<.

The Purito Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream is a nourishing moisturizer enriched with 70% Sea Buckthorn Fruit extract, highly concentrated with vitamins, and therefore the perfect brightening care for making dark and dull skin revitalized. he Purito Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream has a mix between balm-type texture and gel texture. The color of the cream is light orange, and as I said before, it has a wonderful and very natural orange scent that reminds me of the moment you peel oranges. Read my review >>here<<.

Another brand that I discovered during 2018 is Bio:Végane. It’s not a KBeauty brand, but a great natural cosmetics brand that you find in Germany. I’m in love with their Bio:Végane Skinfood Organic Acai Cleansing Gel! What I love about the Bio:Végane Skinfood Organic Acai Cleansing Gel is first of all the gel-type formula and the fact that it is not drying for my dry skin type. It does produce a moderate amount of foam nonetheless, which is enough to have that feeling of a foam cleanser despite the gel type formula. The second point why I love this cleanser so much is definitely the scent! It is really addicting and so fresh and fruity. I’m almost done with my second bottle and I have stocked up on another one…I’m highly recommending this cleanser! Read my review >>here<<.

A brand that you all might have heard of and never has let me down is Klairs. I reviewed and used so many of their products already and still love using the Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence has been released not long ago and I can definitely say that I’m addicted to it. It’s not often that one gets addicted to sunscreen but this one definitely won me over. The Klairs Soft Airy UC Essence comes with SPF50+ PA ++++ and is a lightweight daily sunscreen that protects the skin from UVA and UVB. It leaves no greasiness, nor a white cast. The broad spectrum sunscreen has a water-based gel-texture and comes in a (quite unusual) large tube. It’s my most-used sunscreen at the moment. Read my review >>here<<.

Last but not least for the skincare is the Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Borabit Ampoule. It is directed towards anti-aging and brightening, using purple botanical ingredients like blueberries, aronia, beets, red cabbage, and purple carrots and combining these with lactic acid fermentation ingredients. It’s a powerful ampoule designed for nighttime use, making the skin smoother, firmer, revitalized, and stronger. This ampoule has been loved by many already but I never had the chance to use it until last year. What should I say, it convinced me, too! Read my review >>here<<.

Favorite Make-Up 2018

One of the makeup products that I used almost every day are the Bonnie Choice Eyebrow Pencils from Born Pretty Store. They are automatic eyebrow pencils that are waterproof and long-lasting. There are 6 different shades available and they have a very soft finish and are easy to use. The bullet has a triangular shape and makes it easy to draw your brows. I can really recommend these. Then there are of course lip products that I loved last year a lot. One of these is the The Face Shop Gelato Tint. The Face Shop Gelato Tint is a creamy lip tint that comes in 6 different shades that come in ice cream shaped containers in pastel colors. The description says that these tints melt like soft ice cream on our lips with the melting mousse texture. This texture is so lovely. The tint is thick and vibrant in color and applies smoothly. Also, the ice cone shape is really detailed and looks like a high-quality product and not simply some cheap plastic piece. This was definitely a hit for me and brought me back to why I loved KBeauty in the first place. You can read my review >>here<<.

Another lip product that I enjoyed a lot is the MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tint! I was able to test all their shades thanks to Beautytap and I enjoyed them a lot (and still enjoy them). The MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tint is a cotton-type tint, with a matte finish, but creamy texture. It is long-lasting, not drying, and has vibrant color pay-off according to the description of the tints. Since it has a creamy texture, but a matte finish it can be used as tint, but also as blush. You can also apply them either very lightly for a natural tint, or more vibrant and opaque. I have to point out that they don’t feel drying on the lips AT ALL, despite their matte texture. Cupper Teas have one of the most beautiful designs. And this spiced tea blend with pepper and ginger, mixed with a citrus scent is perfect for the season.

ColaRebell Feststoff Cola Classic (44g / 1,49 €)

These are basically a lifesaver since it is so dark in the mornings and already dark when I’m on my way back home. These candies help me to get some sugar and caffeine into my blood when I’m at a low point during the day.

InStyle – Emaille Mug (1pc / 16,00 €)

This mug is perfect for the included Cupper Tea of this box. Love the cute print here!

Gilette Venus Swirl (1 pc / 9,99€ )

The Flexi-ball technology of the Gilette Venus Swirl makes it easy to shave your legs, especially for the more difficult areas and shapes to reach.

Nature Box Body Butter Avocado ( 200ml / 4,99€ )

This body butter contains cold-pressed avocado oil and is free from silicone, sulfates and parabens. Additionally, the product is vegan. Apart from Avocado oil, this body butter contains great ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, and cacao seed butter.

Kiss New York Professional Truism Color Intense Lipstick ( 1pc / 7,95€ )

A satin-type lipstick with a creamy but vibrant texture. It has various shades, like Nude You Didn’t, Red Head, Spicy Nude and Touch You.

PUFFIN beauty Pony Puffin® ( 1pc / 9,95€ )

This silicone helper will make your ponytail look more voluminous. It looks like a muffin and is placed between your hair before tying it.

L’Oréal Paris Indefectible Gel Nail Polish ( 1pc / 8,90€ )

These nail polishes from L’Oreal come with two sides, one containing the nail polish (here shade Forever Mink), and the other containing a clear top coat with gel effect. Love the combination of the two products in one.

Maison Mollerus Pochette EIGER ( 1pc / 69,00€ )

Handmade in Switzerland, and perfect to keep your lipstick, powder, and some money for the next festivities or party. Love the sleek and simple design, and yet the embossing gives it a luxurious finish.

The Jeweller Necklace (1pc / 21,90€ )

A pretty and delicate necklace with a heart shape. I guess this would make a cute gift for best friends, too.

I’m happy with this Box content again, and I must say it has a good value for its price! Especially the clutch from Maison Mullerus is super pretty and will be very perfect for the holiday season. I also love the other products and there is quite some that I’m looking forward to try. Today's post will be about my favorite products from the BeautyPress event I attended recently. I decided to write the post in German. But if you want to know any details to any of the products below, please feel free to ask in the comments below. I'll be happy to answer your questions :)

Lange Zeit ist es her seit ich bei einer Blogparade mitgemacht habe. Aber der Vorschlag von Marie vom Blog Marie-Theres Schindler eine Best of BeautyPress Goddiebags zu machen fand ich sofort so gut, dass ich mich da direkt mal angeschlossen habe. Habt ihr meine Stories vom BeautyPress Event auf Instagram verfolgt? Ich habe euch da schon einiges gezeigt, aber heute kommt noch ein Beitrag in dem ich euch meine liebsten Produkte aus den Goodiebags zeige. Beautypress ist ein internationales PR Network von webportalis. Wenn man Presseinformationen im Bereich Beauty braucht, ist man dort genau richtig und wird in der Regel auch immer fündig. Ich verfolge schon seit Jahren ihre Newsletter und vor kurzem hatte ich auch schon Unboxings ihrer BeautyPress News Box hier auf meinem Blog.

Auf dem BeautyPress Event 2018 haben wir eine ganze Menge Marken und Neuerscheinungen kennen gelernt. Man konnte sich super informieren und auch einiges selber testen, und natürlich hat man auch PR Samples zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen, damit man auch nochmal zu Hause die Produkte in Ruhe testen kann. Die Auswahl an Themen war super vielfältig und es war von Kopf bis Fuß im Bereich Beauty von allem etwas dabei. Fangen wir direkt mal mit meinen Lieblingen an. Es war ziemlich schwer sich auf eine überschaubare Anzahl an Produkten festzulegen, aber letztendlich haben es diese 5-6 Produkte geschafft mich zu überzeugen.

Dr.Grandel Hyaluron Love Edition

Als jemand mit trockener Haut liebe ich Hyaluronsäure in meiner Hautpflege. Und wenn dann noch die geballte Kraft dieses Inhaltsstoffs in Form von Ampullen geboten wird kann ich einfach nicht wiedersehen. Dieses süße Set enthält 3 Hyaluronsäure Ampullen mit je 3 ml, einmal die Standard Hyaluron Ampulle, dann die Moisture Flash Hyaluron Ampulle und zu guter letzt die Ampulle mit Hyaluron für die Nacht. Die Dr. Grandel Ampullen kommen außerdem mit einer Hilfe um den Glashals des kleinen Ampullen-Behälters sauber abzutrennen. Meiner Meinung nach auch ein schönes und edles Geschenk!

Gehwol Soft Feet Pflegebad

Die kälteren Jahreszeiten sind für mich auch immer ein Grund mal endlich wieder das ein oder andere Bad zu nehmen, und ich liebe – abgesehen von Bergen an Schaum – doch auch ab und an mal ein reichhaltiges Öl Bad. Das Gehwol Soft Feet Pflegebad ist nicht nur für ein Fußbad gedacht sondern kann auch für den ganzen Körper verwendet werden. Es macht die Haut super weich und ich liebe den Geruch von Mandelöl und Vanille!

M. Asam Bath & Body Manderine Zimt Peeling und Orange Ingwer Körpercreme

Zugegeben fand ich alle Produkte von M. Asam wirklich gut aber bei den Körperpflege-Produkten waren diese beiden meine Favoriten. Die Duftkombinationen sind ein Traum und passen so gut zu der Jahreszeit. Und beide Produkte sind obendrein noch wirklich reichhaltig was die Pflege angeht. Ich kann sie jeden Falls nur empfehlen, denn bei mir sind sie in Dauerbenutzung.

4ever Young by Asam beauty Black & Beautiful Lashes

4ever Young ist eine Makeup Linie von Asambeauty und der Mascara ist mir ins Auge gefallen weil er multifunktional ist. Natürlich ist er erst einmal ein Mascara. Aber zusätzlich färbt er auch die Wimpern allmählich schwärzer und enthält zudem noch wachstumsfördernde Inhaltsstoffe. Von Medipharma habe ich gerade auch so einen Mascara in Benutzung und liebe die die beiden.

Keralock Care & Color Kur mit Farbeauffrischung

Das Produkt hat mich schon bei der Vorstellung begeistert: die Keralock Care & Color Kur besteht aus zwei Kompartimenten, in denen einerseits eine pflegende Haarkur, und andererseits ein Farbauffrischer enthalten ist. Mit einem Rädchen oben kann man einstellen, wieviel Kur bzw wieviel Auffrischer verwendetet werden soll. Ich finde die Idee total genial und auch der Geruch ist super.

I’ll show you the content of the Beautypress News Box October 2018 today! This box came with so many products and news that I’m very excited to share with you. Beautypress is an international PR Network by webportalis and it is totally dedicated to beauty products and the latest releases by brands. I have been following their newsletter and unboxings on other blogs for a long time now, and I already received one of their boxes before, as well.

The Beautypress News Box is a curated box by Beautypress, which is exclusively sent out to top bloggers. Unlike beauty boxes like Glossy Box, it is no subscription box and is really dedicated to introducing new brands and products to bloggers for introduction on their channels. I received the October Box this time, which came with a total of 10 products from 9 different brands!

The box was so heavy and filled this time. I will go through the products below and let you know about my first impression:

B. Kettner VisoVibe

This was probably the product I was most excited to see: the VisoVibe micro vibration brush by B.Kettner. It’s an electrical silicon brush for cleansing, massaging and working in your skincare products. It has two sides, one for normal skin and one for sensitive skin, and it is suited to be used in a wet environment, eg. while showering. There are two speed levels that you can chose from, and you can even use the brush to massage your neck. Sounds pretty nice, to be honest! The brush comes with a tube of creamy cleansing foam, too. I can’t wait to try this brush during my routines. This brush retails for 69.99€.

Isabery Tendre Nuit

This perfume is 100 years old and has presented in New York by Isabey Paris in 1944. The design has been revamped now and it comes in a pretty and tiny purple glass bottle. The scent is supposed to be sensual and romantic with an oriental, flowery note. I think this will be a scent that’s to my liking and I love the tiny glass vial. I think it’s the so-called Travel Spray and it retails for 37.95€ (10ml).

base note: ambroxan, cashmeran, benzoe resin, vanilla

Tetesept Haut:Balance Bath Oil with Almond Blossom

This oil bath is the perfect body care for sensitive and dry skin types since it is also suited for people with neurodermatitis. I love the almond blossom scent. It contains 95% pure almond oil, which provides your skin with Vitamin E and A. It is vegan, free from paraben, silicone, and mineral oils. It retails for4.95€ (100ml).

La Mer Seacrets Beauty Elixir

This is the first time I can try a La Mer product! I’m super excited about this! The key ingredient is Sea Silt, which provides the skin with moisture and helps to plump the skin. It also provides the skin with minerals and micronutrients and helps to protect the skin’s barrier. It also contains molecular oxygen to rejuvenate the skin. Moreover, the elixir is free from parabens, paraffin, silicone, PEG, and perfume. Have you tried this one? It retails for 99€ (30ml).

Ardell Magnetic Strip Lashes

This one is also something I was really curious about and I also tried it already. I must say that I’m really bad with false lashes and I hoped that these magnetic ones would make my life easier…Unfortunately, they don’t want to stay attached to my lashes. It works like this: you have an applicator which works similar to a lash curler. You apply the magnetic lashes to both sides of the applicator and sandwich your own lashes in between. In my case, the magnetic lashes cling together, but they remain on the applicator instead of clinging to my lashes….Does anyone have a tip for me? The lashes retail for 14.95€.

Efasit Cashmere Deluxe

This is a body care product for legs and feet. It contains cashmere and silk extracts for a satin-like skin. Additionally, shea butter provides the skin with nourishment and makes the feet and legs super soft. I also love the golden colored tube. It retails for 9.95€ (75ml).

Alverde Bright Eyes Mascara

This mascara is available for brown and blue eyes and contains colored micro pigments and light reflecting particles, that suit to the eye color. The positive point about Alverde is that they are a natural cosmetics brand with vegan products. The mascara contains almond oil for care or the lashes, too. The mascara retails for 3.95€.

Jean D’arcel 24h Crème Anto-Ox

This 24-hour care protects the skin from pollution and makes your skin more beautiful every day. Detox is always a big topic in lifestyle and skincare and of course, we want to keep our skin from all the bad influence from pollution, too. This cream is supposed to protect and provide with hydration. The key ingredients are the following: an anti-pollution complex, alpine globe flower, Alistin®, Glycoin® natural, hyaluronic acid, and camelia oil. The jar contains 50ml and retails for 39.90€.

Keralock Night Life Color Hairspray

For those of you who want a bit of color in your hair but you want it only for one night or day you might want to check out these color hairsprays. They can be applied by simply spraying it on your dry hair and there you go. I’m curious how they will perform on dark hair. The color is removed by washing your hair. There are 6 different colors available that you can choose from, by the way. The color hairspray retails for 2.99€.

There is really some great product news here! I’m looking forward to trying the cleansing brush by B.Kettner since I haven’t tried any silicon brushes yet. I’m also looking forward to trying the La Mer Elixir since this will be my first product from this high-end brand. I still need to figure out how to make the Ardell Magnetic Lashes work. Long time no cushion review! This Mamonde High Cover Cushion Perfect Liquid is the last product of the round-up by TesterKorea within the frame of their Beauty Tester Event. I love using cushion foundations, because of the natural finish and the convenience they have. You can take them along and touch up your makeup whenever needed. Let’s see how this cushion from the KBeauty brand Mamonde will perform:

First, some information about TesterKorea: if you know me and my blog for some time you will know that TesterKorea is my favorite online retailer for larger KBeauty hauls. I’ve purchased products from them many times and they never failed me. Also, they are quite popular for offering many free samples and having a LARGE variety of samples for sale as well. If you do not know a specific product and you want to test it I can recommend you TesterKorea. Also, they have a huge amount of different products from many brands, so you can be sure to find what you are looking for in most cases. Unlike other online retailers they do not offer free shipping, though, but their shipping is based on weight. The cheap prices of the products themselves totally balances out the shipping costs in my eyes – especially for larger hauls. They even have a specific topic where you can request a product if it is newly launched. They are also quite fast in listing the latest products from most brands. Considering the fact that I know they are a reliable retailer and have a good reputation makes me even more happy that I’m part of their new Beauty Tester round-up.

The funny thing about the brand Mamonde is that I have known it for ages, but I hardly ever reviewed their products…strangely enough! Mamonde is a brand by Amore Pacific and has been founded over 25 years ago. The brand’s motto is to believe in the power of flowers and use flower extracts in their cosmetic products. I’ve always been drawn to the rose skincare line of this brand because I love everything with roses!

The Mamonde High Cover Cushion Perfect Liquid Cushion is my first cushion from the brand and it is a cushion foundation that comes in three different shades. I have selected the darkest shade, which is No.23, a beige, but still quite a light tone. Sorry, for all the tanned people out there at this point! The cushion is a high coverage cushion with a matte finish and SPF 34/PA++. The cushion is perfectly suited for people with acne and skin irritations and for combination and oily skin types, but it also can be used on other skin types.

As all cushion foundations, the Mamonde High Cover Cushion Perfect Liquid comes in a compact pact with a mirror and an application puff. The liquid foundation is located inside an airtight packaging, unlike many “first generation” cushions, that had simply a soaked sponge as the cushion. Pressing the packaging releases the liquid foundation through the cushion. It is advised to apply the foundation first with a foundation brush ( or the so-called Mamonde Flower Petal Brush, which is sold separately) and use the included puff for touchups. This foundation has finer cover powder thanks to Mamonde’s Fine Pixel Cover Technology, which results in a flawless finish. Additionally, it has a reflecting effect due to the Volume Up Light Powder. Round-shaped silica powder and silicon gel fill the pores and gaps and make the skin look even and smooth. The puff also sticks very closely to the skin and helps to create this smooth effect.

I was very skeptical at first because usually high coverage cushion foundations with a matte effect tend to make dry skin types look even drier and flaky throughout the day. I loved the airtight cushion at first glance though and that fact that it wasn’t simply a soaked sponge, but the product was only released when needed. Then I was a bit shocked that the darkest shade I selected (23) was still a bit too light even for my skin tone. Usually, shade 23 fits my skin just right. I was almost hopeless and didn’t want to wear it, but after some consideration, I gave it a try anyway. Yes, it is still a bit too light for my summer skin, but I hope that it will adjust within the next months. But my fears regarding dryness have not been confirmed and I must say that this cushion has a great coverage and lasting power! Even though it was raining and windy throughout the day the skin looked smooth and good when I returned home. That was the biggest surprise of all!

The Mamonde High Cover Cushion Perfect Liquid has fulfilled all its claims and surprised me with a great coverage and long-lasting effect without making my skin flaky and dry. The airtight liquid cushion container is a great way to keep the foundation as fresh as possible, too! I would even love this more when it’s available in more shades for people with tanned skin and darker skin tones!

The Mamonde High Cover Cushion Perfect Liquid retails for 21250Won at TesterKorea, which makes around 22 US$.

I received a few items from TesterKorea within the frame of their Beauty Tester Event. Today, I want to talk about the Too Cool For School Glam Rock Double Proof Brow. When it comes to brow products I prefer pencils to be honest because they are precise and quick to use. Nevertheless, I give over brow products a try from time to time. This Double Proof Brow is a 2in1 product with brow ink and brow mascara combined.

Too Cool For School is a Korean brand, known for a unique packaging design. Their products are in the mid-pricey region and slightly more expansive than Etude House, for example. I have reviewed a bunch of their products in the past and the Too Cool For School Artclass By Rodin Contour is my favorite compact pact when it comes to contouring. The Too Cool For School Glam Rock Double Proof Brow is a double-lasting brow mascara and ink to create cleaner and more refined brows that last double-time according to the description. There are three different shades available called Natural Brown, Ash Brown, and Light Brown. I selected Ash Brown (02) because it seems to fit most with my black eyebrows according to the promotional pictures.

The Too Cool For School Glam Rock Double Proof Brow is designed with two caps, one for the brow ink, and one for the brow mascara. In a first step, the brow ink is used to define the shape of the brows and fill in the gaps. The applicator is a sponge-like applicator that reminds me of lip tint applicators. The brow mascara comes with a classic brush and is step 2 for adjusting the color of your own brow hair to the color of the brow ink.

The color is a nice ash brown, very light and natural. Its color is water- and smudge-proof once tried, too! Unfortunately, the brush applicator for the ink is not very precise and convenient to use for me, since I’m used to pencils. I couldn’t manage to create a decent brow look with it. Also, the ash brown shade of the mascara is too light to show off on my black brows.

Unfortunately, the color I picked for the Too Cool For School Glam Rock Double Proof Brow doesn’t show up on my brows visibly, so this one was a miss for me. I will try to apply the ink with another brush in future and see whether the result is more promising. Regarding the staying power this brow product is great and will last you all day! If you have lighter or less dense brows than I have you might want to check these out!
