Review: Purito Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream

Did you ever have any special opinion about Sea Buckthorn in skincare? Honestly, I never thought about it before I started trying the Purito Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream. Usually, when I hear Sea Buckthorn I think about tea, winter, and herbal scents. But then I received this orange tube of facial cream from Purito and suddenly I was obsessed with it! Why? Let me explain!

Purito is a rather young Korean brand with cruelty-free and 10-free skin care products. The products are free from paraben, ethanol, surfactants, artificial coloring, fragrance, triethanolamine, phthalein, triclosan, petrochemicals, and benzoyl peroxide. Moreover, the products gain a lot of popularity these days because of their short and yet effective ingredients list. I have reviewed the Purito Pure Vitamin C Serum and the Purito Snail Repair Advanced 91 Serum and my beloved Purito Centella Green Level All In One Mild Pads before and there are more to come in future!

The Purito Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream is a nourishing moisturizer enriched with 70% Sea Buckthorn Fruit extract, highly concentrated with vitamins, and therefore the perfect brightening care for making dark and dull skin revitalized. The cream comes in a tube and contains 50ml of volume. Like all Purito skincare, the product comes packed in a cardboard box with all the relevant information. The design of Purito products is not especially cute or elaborate, but the products have a signature look and each skin care line has a defined color depending on the key ingredient. Here orange is the signature color.

Sea Buckthorn

Hippophae Rhamnoides, also known as Sea Buckthorn or Sandthorn, is a plant commonly spread in Europe and Asia. It has been used in ancient Greek as an herbal remedy for skin diseases, digestive problems and as medicine. These days the plant is used and valued for many reasons. The Sea Buckthorn fruit is known to have a high content of vitamins, especially vitamin C. But it doesn’t end with vitamin C, the fruit extract also is rich in Vitamin E, D, E, and B. Additionally, it is rich in amino and fatty acids. All these components of the Sea Buckthorn Fruit extract act positively when applied topically on our skin. Vitamins prevent aging and have exfoliating properties. Fatty acids keep the skin hydrated, smooth, and resilient. This leads to glowy and brightened skin. With 70% Sea Buckthorn Fruit extracts this cream provides the skin with 2000mg Vitamin C, and that’s really amazing!

When we look at the full list of ingredients of the Purito Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream we will spot Orange Peel Oil and Satsuma Orange Extract as natural fragrances. The cream also has a wonderful fruity and orangy scent that is addictive and nothing like the artificial orange scents that remind you of bathroom cleansers. Then we have 4% Macadamia Seed Oil included in this cream for hydration. This is accompanied by glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and panthenol. Last, but not least, niacinamide for more brightening properties. According to SkinCarisma all the ingredients are safe to use according to EWG!

The Purito Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream has a mix between balm-type texture and gel texture. The color of the cream is light orange, and as I said before, it has a wonderful and very natural orange scent that reminds me of the moment you peel oranges. The cream spreads smoothly and feels nourishing and hydrating at the same time. I also feel like my skin feels moisturized all day and even after it is absorbed the skin will feel more bouncy. This cream doesn’t absorb fully and without a trace like for example the A;T Fox Tea Tock Water Cream, but will leave a feeling of a moisturized skin if you know how I mean the difference. I would describe the texture as suited better for dry skin types because it has a kind of richness to it.

Inside of the cardboard box of the Purito Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream, there is a cute comic describing the brightening effect of the cream with help of Snow White and the Evil Queen: the Queen wants to have smooth and bright skin like Snow White. According to the magical mirror of the Queen, this cream is supposed to be the solution for it. After having used half of the tube excessively I can confirm that this cream gives you the most wonderful glowy and bright skin! I’m so addicted to this moisturizer and it’s been a long time that I have used a cream so rigorously.

Review: Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Borabit Ampoule

If you saw my latest empties post on Instagram you probably discovered the Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Borabit Ampoule in my picture there. Unfortunately, I used up the last drops of it and I’ve probably never been more sad about using up a serum or ampoule this time. This ampoule has probably been reviewed a lot of times before and there have been comparisons to another high-end brand night serum in the past. I have no comparison to other products here, only my honest review about using this serum in the last months.

The Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Borabit Ampoule is from the famous Korean brand Missha. Missha has a lot of online stores all over the world and are available in US/Canada, Australia and even in Germany. It was the first Korean brand with a physical store in Germany, too! The products always come in a very mature and luxurious packaging and the design is usually very elegant although simple. I think that it can be liked by almost everyone. The aim of Missha is to create quality products that are affordable.

The Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Borabit Ampoule is directed towards anti-aging and brightening, using purple botanical ingredients like blueberries, aronia, beets, red cabbage, and purple carrots and combining these with lactic acid fermentation ingredients. It’s a powerful ampoule designed for nighttime use, making the skin smoother, firmer, revitalized, and stronger.

The ampoule comes in a signature purple color that refers to the purple plant ingredients used. The elegant glass bottle with an attached dropper comes packed in a cardboard box of the same color and design. The packaging looks timeless and elegant!

The ingredients list of this highly concentrated ampoule might put you off at first glance, but don’t fear the long list. The ingredients are very beneficial and combine a lot of goodness!

First of all, according to SkinCarisma the Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Borabit Ampoule is free from parabens, sulfates, alcohol, and EU-allergens. The ingredients are safe to use, and there is only one ingredient that could be irritating for sensitive skin types. This ingredient is Retinol! So if you have been looking for effective anti-aging ingredients you will have stumbled upon Retinol. Retinol, or Vitamin A, can cause skin reactions, including peeling, redness, scaling, itching, and burning, and also increases the risk of sunburns and sun-induced mutations. Although retinol is a great anti-aging ingredient you have to keep these points in mind and use sunscreen during the day to protect your skin from the UV rays to avoid its side effects. I guess the percentage of retinol in this ampoule is very low, but still, you should keep in mind to use sunscreen during the day while using ingredients that have these kinds of chemical peeling properties.

Most of the ingredients of the Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Borabit Ampoule have moisturizing properties and are perfect for hydrating the skin. Panthenol, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, or chamomile extract are some of these ingredients. The latter is also a great soothing ingredient, while panthenol and hyaluronic acid also have wound-healing properties. Other ingredients like niacinamide, vitamin C derivates, adenosine, and retinol have brightening and anti-aging properties. Additionally, there are four different kinds of ferments included, combining Lactobacillus, Bifida, Lactococcus, and Leuconostoc! I love Fermented ingredients! Ferment filtrates have anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial activity when applied in concentrations of 5% or more. They have skin conditioning properties, are nutrient-rich, and contains many vitamins, amino acids, and proteins and helps to improve the moisture level of the skin.

In order to use the product you take out the ampoule and dispense the desired amount into your palms and apply it to your skin. The best way is, of course, working upwards and outwards along your facial features. The warmth of your hand will help the ampoule to sink into your skin. I used this product as the last step before my sleeping mask or night cream. In the next morning, I’ve always used a sunscreen. The attached dropper makes it easy to dispense the product. since it is a glass dropper you can see the slightly red/orange colored ampoule. The serum absorbs fast and glides easily across the skin. It doesn’t feel heavy, despite all the ingredients included.

In my opinion, this ampoule really makes the skin feel smoother, hydrated, and more firm. I loved the effects in the next morning. The only downside is probably the price, sometimes 50ml are sold for around 40US$ or more. The second point is (I don’t know if that is a downside though) that Missha constantly has new formulations of their products, especially for this ampoule and the Missha Time Revolution First Essence. This can be irritating and makes it sometimes complicated to read the proper review for it. If you love to have one concentrated product that combines many beneficial ingredients in one you will love this ampoule. If you rather prefer a highly moisturizing serum, without any fuss, you can more likely switch to a serum or ampoule with a high concentration of hyaluronic acid and achieve satisfying results as well. I personally love the extra smoothness of the ferments here, and all these good anti-oxidants from the purple plants.

Review: Erborian Matte Crème

I’m very excited to share this review with you today: It’s about the Erborian Matte Crème! There are two reasons for my excitement: First, it’s my first review for the brand Erborian, second, I’ve been using this a lot during summer and loving it, and thirdly, I was introduced to this wonderful product during a Launching Event in Cologne in Summer, which was such a lovely and nicely organized event that I still have a lot of positive memories of it. Thank you, Erborian & YBPN for the opportunity and for providing me with this product as PR sample.

Co-founder Katalin Berenyi discovered during a visit in South Korea that Korean Women had a very clear and good skin and she learned about Korean beauty rituals and brought them to Europe, founding the brand Erborian together with Hojung Lee, a Korean scientist with a passion for beauty. Erborian adapts Asian skincare expertise to beauty rituals around the world, creating a variety of unique and effective skincare and makeup products.

As said before, I had the honour to attend a launching event for the Erborian Matte Crème earlier this summer. The event was organized byYBPN and Erborian Germany and we were able to try out various products from Erborian, and we were introduced to the new Matte Crème. This 5-in-1 product is a mattifying face cream with a blurring effect. It evens out the complexion and mattifies the skin using White Water Lily extract from Korea. The five properties of the Erborian Matte Crème are:

Blur the appearance of pores and imperfections with a soft-focus effect
Even out skin tone and give an ultra-matte finish
Refine skin’s texture
Maintain skin’s barrier function to hold in moisture
5. mattify to prepare skin for makeup

The Matte Crème can thereby be used before makeup, or to touch up throughout the day!

It was so fun to take the pictures for the review because the Erborian Matte Crème was packed in a fun superhero-themed box. I loved the packaging so much and I took thousands of pictures, but I only selected some here :D

The colorful box revealed the original product packaging in the signature color: pale blue.

The product is free of parabens, sulfates, and fungal acne safe according to Skincarisma. It does contain silicones and alcohol though. The key ingredients are White Water Lily Extract (Nymphaea Alba Flower Extract) for anti-oxidants and hydration, and silica powder for the mattifying effect. The product also contains Titanium Dioxide for UV protection, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), and Butylene Glycol for hydration.

During the Launch Event, we tested this cream in a special way, which was fun and very interesting at the same time: Everyone received a touch-up of their makeup using the Erborian Matte Crème. Then we had a collective yoga session of 60 minutes. The yoga session was really exhausting, and not easy either, and to be honest, I was not prepared to get that much of exercise on this day :D By the end of the session I thought my whole makeup has melted off already! Surprisingly, a look in the mirror revealed that the Erborain Matte Crème really held up to its claims and our skin was still matte and not sweaty at all. I was pretty much amazed and happy!

The cream has a pale blue color and a balm-type texture. It feels light and hydrating upon application and has a pleasant and nice scent.

The cream pretty much dissolves to nothing and doesn’t leave a film or any type of greasiness. It is super lightweight and apart from the scent non-existent on the skin. The skin looks matte and fresh!

I used the cream quite often this summer and it had been really a lifesaver during the hot days. I especially love that it can be used on top of your makeup as well! If you are looking for a mattifying cream I can very much recommend you the Erborian Matte Crème!

Review: Bonnie Choice Eyebrow Pencil & Brush

My favorite quick and easy product for beautiful eyebrows is eyebrow pencils. I love especially the ones with a soft texture and good but not too prominent color pay-off, and of course, they should be long-lasting, too. I was offered the Bonnie Choice Eyebrow Pencils and an Eyebrow Brush for reviewing by Born Pretty Store and here is my impression:

Born Pretty Store is an Asian-based online store selling very affordable products, reaching from accessories to make-up and beauty products. They have a super huge amount of all kinds of nail art products and tools. I have tried many of their nail art products in the past and the products were good and affordable. >Here< are some of the products I reviewed before. I’ve been asked by the very nice people from Born Pretty Store, if I can try some of their new makeup products from their brand Bonnie Choice. I selected these two Bonnie Choice Eyebrow Pencils and a double-sided eyebrow brush from the same brand.

The Bonnie Choice Eyebrow Pencils are automatic eyebrow pencils that are waterproof and long-lasting. There are 6 different shades available and I chose shade 01 and shade 05, a black and an ashy brown tone. I have black eyebrows and any lighter shades will look quite strange, but these two seem to fit according to the swatches according to their product description.

The packaging of the products is simple and neat, nothing special. All the products have a signature black color and the name of the brand. Each of the pencils came packed in a cardboard box with the ingredients listed.

The Bonnie Choice Eyebrow Pencil has two sides: one containing the bullet, which is rotatable, and the other side a brush protected by a cap. The bullet has a triangular shape and is perfect for designing eyebrows precisely. The brush is suitable for brushing the eyebrows and does its job in a good way.

The swatches of the two eyebrow pencils show off distinct colors as I expected. They are perfectly pigmented for creating a natural eyebrow look. The color stays in place after rubbing – but only to a certain extent, of course. I would not say that it is 100% waterproof, but it will last you all day. From the two colors shade, 01 is the shade to go for me, although shade 05 can also be used, but doesn’t blend in so naturally as shade 01. You can see the swatches below, 01 on the left, and 05 on the right.

I also received an eyebrow dual-sided brush together with the two pencils. This eyebrow brush has an angled brush on one side and a helical comb on the other side. This brush is perfectly suited if you have an eyebrow palette that doesn’t come with any brushes. The angled brush is perfectly designed for creating a nice shape with your eyebrow palette, and the brush can be used to brush your eyebrows in the desired shape. Far more important is, that it is very affordable!

All in all, we have a couple of very decent and affordable makeup products here, that will help you to achieve a nice and groomed eyebrow look. If you have been looking for cheap, but good eyebrow products go for the Bonnie Choice Eyebrow Pencils! I really like the texture and the natural color pay-off. I personally have enough brushes, but if you are looking for a cheap and useful brush I can also recommend the Bonnie Choice Dual Eyebrow Brush.

Review: Cellnco Anti Pollution Refreshing Milk Sleeping Mask Ampoule

I’m always very attracted towards skincare products containing milk, probably due to the picture in my head of the famous ancient Cleopatra bathing in milk for her beautifying rituals. The Cellnco Anti Pollution Refreshing Milk Sleeping Mask Ampoule was very interesting in several points: first of all, I haven’t used any products from this Korean beauty brand yet, second because of the milk protein ingredient, and lastly, because it is a sleeping mask and I love using sleeping masks! Cellnco is a Korean brand which might be very new and unknown to many people. The concept of the brand is tackling pollution-related premature aging of the skin. The brand produced products for famous brands like Estée Lauder, Lancôme, and Skyn Iceland for 15 years before they started their own cosmetics brand. The brand is also one of the brands focussing on botanical extracts and being free from harmful chemicals.

The Cellnco Anti Pollution Refreshing Milk Sleeping Mask Ampoule is one of five antioxidant-rich ampoules of their skincare range. It’s a sleeping mask ampoule promoting skin repair during night-time featuring milk protein as the key ingredient. As we all know, our skin is most active during sleeping and the body and also our skin is regenerating during this time. Any skincare applied on our skin during sleeping will be absorbed more thoroughly and be more beneficial.

Milk Protein in Skincare

You can already spot all the botanical extracts in the list, eg. ginseng, chamomille, rice, lavender, rosemary, camellia… but also moisturizing ingredients like hyaluronic acid or glycerin, and even honey extract!

The Cellnco Anti Pollution Refreshing Milk Sleeping Mask Ampoule has a firm gel texture and white color. you only need a little for your face as it melts and distributes nicely upon application. Despite the firm gel texture it is very lightweight once applied and leaves a refreshing and moist feeling. Also, this sleeping mask ampoule is not sticky or heavy like other sleeping masks. It’s no problem to use another night cream on top of it.

This Sleeping Mask Ampoule absorbs very quickly and leaves really no trace, simply a very pleasant and refreshing scent. Magnolia reminds me of spring, but yet here I am with a review for this product at the beginning of autumn! It also lies some time back that I used this I’m from Magnolia Wake Essence, but I loved it so much, that I decided to write a review for it now.

I’m from is a Korean brand with the motto “a good cosmetics with a good ingredient”. They are using natural ingredients in their cosmetics and want to be honest and quality provider. They have three promises to their customers, being 1. open composition, which means known ingredients, 2. Honest Farm, meaning honest ingredients with a true origin, and 3. being free of harmful chemicals. I have tried the I’m from Ginseng Serum and the Honey Mask before and enjoyed using both of the products.

The I’m from Magnolia Wake Essence is an essence for brightening and hydration and gives the perfect energy in the morning. As the name suggests, it contains 69% magnolia water from the Sobaek Mountains of Korea. Of course, from the first glance, the packaging is especially attractive. The magnolia pattern and the light pink colors are very pretty and fit perfect for spring, or to give you a spring mood.

What I also love is that this essence is free from parabens, steroids, and artificial coloring- plus I’m from is a cruelty-free brand!

Last, but not least, you will find the ingredients listed on the box as well. The I’m from Magnolia Wake Essence contains mainly magnolia extract, but there are also ingredients like Niacinamide (brightening), Sodium hyalulonate and glycerin (hydrating), and a bunch of plant-based ingredients listed.

You can check the ingredients via SkinCarisma, too. The list also contains alcohol and silicones. Both are not a direct problem for me personally, but if you have observed to react sensitively to products containing silicones or alcohol you should avoid this product.

Doesn’t the milk-glass bottle with the pink essence look totally cute?! You can apply the essence using the included dropper attached to the cap. It is advised to use this essence in the morning routine. Simply apply few drops and pat into your skin after cleansing and toning.

I loved the lightness of the essence and the fact that it smelled nice and flowery. I still need to use a moisturizer on top, but the essence makes the skin soft and makes the appearance of the skin more even and bright. I personally used up the I’m from Magnolia Wake Essence in a record time, because I liked it so much.

As you see below, the texture is clear, but not very runny. It leaves also a nice glow but absorbs very quickly and without a greasy feeling or tackiness.

Review: Purito Centella Green Level All In One Mild Pad

I’ve started to love these kinds of milder peeling pads, like the Purito Centella Green Level All In One Mild Pad here. I’ve received this wonderful product from Purito some while ago and I’ve been testing and including it in my skincare routine since then. This mild peeling pad, as the name already suggests, is perfectly suited if you are looking for something less irritating than AHA Peelings, but still effective enough to help to remove dead skin cells and make your skin clearer.

The Purito Centella Green Level All In One Mild Pad is a product designed for removing excess dirt and dead cells from the face after cleansing. Using 10% Centella Asiatica Extract as a key ingredient. This rich extract contains Asiaticosides, Asiatic acid and Madecassic acid and acts as mild BHA (beta hydroxy acid). Other BHAs mostly used are salicylic acids, but they can be too harsh for people with sensitive skin types.

Like most peeling pads the Purito Centella Green Level All In One Mild Pad comes in a jar. The design is typical for Purito and kept simple, with signature colors of green for the Centella skincare range the brand offers. The plastic jar comes packed in a cardboard box, which provides you with the directions and ingredients. Additionally, there are plastic tweezers included, so you can take out the pads without contaminating the inside of the jar. Using the tweezers is a bit tricky though since the pads are sticking together due to the soaked essence.

Let’s take a look at our star ingredient first:

Centella Asiatica

Centella Asiatica extracts have been used in traditional medicine and are still used today, having beneficial properties like wound-healing. Scientific studies have shown that continuous application of the extract can promote collagen building, act anti-inflammatory, and anti-oxidative. The purified extract of Centella Asiatica is called TECA. It is a standardized extract composed of Asiaticoside, Asiatic acid and Madecassic acid. It is used in skin care targeting wound-healing, scarred skin, sensitive skin, but also seems to be effective on cellulite. I’m not sure if TECA is used here, or only a high concentration of Centella Asiatica extract, but we find these three components in this pad here, too! Asiatic Acid strengthens the skin barrier, has anti-oxidative properties, and calms sensitive skin. Asiaticosides control the oil-water balance and help to build up collagen. Madecassic acid helps to repair damaged skin and reduces scars and marks due to its exfoliating effect.

Ingredients: Water, Centella Asiatica Extract, Dipropylene Glycol, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, 1,2- Hexanediol, Betaine, Betaine Salicylate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Arginine, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Allantoin, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Panthenol, Polyglyceryl-10 Myristate, Caprylyl Glycol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Disodium EDTA, Melaleuca Alternifolia(Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid.

As you see, there are some more ingredients that I can mention: there are hyaluronic acid, panthenol and glycerin included, for providing moisture and wound-healing. Licorice Root Extract has a brightening and anti-inflammatory properties, and tea tree leaf oil and betaine salicylate also have acne-fighting properties.

The Purito Centella Green Level All In One Mild Pad are cotton-type pads with two sides. The jar contains 70 pieces in total.

One side of the pad is structured and the other side is smooth. The structured side is suitable for areas with a higher sebum secretion like T-Zone. It removes makeup residues, sebum, oil, and exfoliates the skin.

The smooth side is suitable for cheeks, neck, etc, where the skin is more fragile. It can be used to calm down the skin, provided moisture, and even can be used to remove smudged eye makeup carefully or to smooth lips.

How to use the pads?

I usually use them after cleansing my face on my dried skin. I first use the structured side of the pad, and you will directly see that it removes even more dirt, even though you cleansed properly. The I use the soft side of the pad. Another way, how I use this pad is in the mornings. Sometimes, when I did a very thorough cleansing the evening before I only use water to wash my face. After that, I use this pad and it works perfectly without stressing the skin too much. I must say, that I also really like the official Purito page, where they list all the ways how you can use the pad. It can even be used on your body, or before reapplying makeup!

The Purito Centella Green Level All In One Mild Pad is definitely a great product. It works well in my skincare routine and helps to prevent irritations. Additionally, it cleans the skin even more thorough and smoothes it with mild exfoliation. The ingredients are really nice too, and 70 pads really last you some while, especially if you are using different products in a rotation like me. I try not to use any other exfoliating skincare products in combination with this pad. The jar retails for 22 US$ from the official page, but you can also get it from Beautytap for the same price. Review: MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tint

It’s been a long time that I wrote a lip tint review and here I am with a very new Korean beauty brand and all their shades: the MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tint! I was so excited when I received these and started to try and test them out directly. Here is my final impression and all the swatches for the Cotton Shot Lip Tints. MeloMELI was totally new to me before I tried these tints and these were able to capture my attention from the start! The first thing I noted was the adorable packaging design and the signature melting heart. That combination with the crossed colts below the heart is simply screaming “PLEASE BUY ME!”. The design makes a modern and fresh impression, but definitely girly enough to score high in the cuteness scale. The brands name is said to derive from the French word for “mishmash”, which may reflect the inspirations taken from the classic 1960s style revamped with these modern vibes. There are currently 3 products available on Beautytap.com for this brand: a Cushion, Matte Lipsticks and these Cotton Shot Lip Tints.

The MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tint is a cotton-type tint, with a matte finish, but creamy texture. It is long-lasting, not drying, and has vibrant color pay-off according to the description of the tints. Since it has a creamy texture, but a matte finish it can be used as tint, but also as blush.

Each of the MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tints comes in a silver cardboard box. The design of the tube of the tints is very neat and minimalistic, with a silver cap and a white body. There is simply the brand name and the melting hard depicted.

There are 6 different shades available for the MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tint. The shades are listed below:

01 JB Swinging London Red: a cherry-toned red shade

02 JB Vintage Love Red Orange: a tomato-toned red shade

03 JB Moon Girl Orange: a coral /orange-toned shade

04 JB Hip and Mods Pink: a rose-pink shade

Each MeloMELI Cotton Shot Lip Tint comes with an angled applicator attached to the cap. The application is very smooth and creamy and the finish upon swatching is moist and glowy first. After a while the tint dries down and transforms to a matte and cotton-like texture. It reminds me of the Peri Pera Ink Velvet Tint that I showed in my post for my Beautytap.com for 11.40 US$. While swatching these I already discovered how pigmented these tints are. And all the shades really look different on my skin, too!

Upon applying these lip tints on my lips I was even more surprised that all of the colors seem to show on my lips. Usually, I have problems with brighter shades, because they don’t show on my natural lip color, but the Cotton Shot Lip Tints from MeloMELI are so vibrant, that there is no way that they don’t show off. You can also apply them either very lightly for a natural tint, or more vibrant and opaque. I have to point out that they don’t feel drying on the lips AT ALL, despite their matte texture. The staying power is not ultimately long, so it will fade after drinking and eating, but it fades very naturally and nice, so you do not need to check the mirror right away after eating lunch.

I have to say that I love these tints, and they feel wonderful while wearing them. I love the shades, too, especially shade 03 and 04, which are nice every day colors, but especially the brick-red shade 06! It looks so beautiful and I’m definitely in love for it. If you love tints you will not regret getting one of these beauties for yourself. I was really happy and impressed with the cotton shot tints.

At first I didn’t know what this cute rabbit is used for, but a quick glance into the booklet revealed that it is a coaster. Perfect! The white color fits nicely to my desk and computer, so I have placed it on my desk and I’m using it already :)

Salmon Sushi Boy Squishy & Kawaii Hamster Soft Bag Charm

There is no Kawaii box without either a plushie or a squishy. These two are more than adorable. I love especially the hamster charm, because it remind me of Hamtaro. The sushi squishy is supposed to smell cute, too.

Kawaii Drinking Straw Pen & Sumikko Gurashi Deco Stickers

Pen and stickers are stationary staples in Japan! They always surprise me with new designs and more cuteness. That straw pen is the perfect summer accessory to write down some sunny notes. And the characters from Sumikko Gurashi are too cute!

Moomin Memo Pad Set

The second highlight for me is this Moomin Memo Pad Set. Moomins are so cute and I love notes with characters and cute designs. I will definitely have good use for these and I love the fact that we have four different designs here in one.

Precure Grape Gummies & Hello Kitty Strawberry Marshmellows

Although there is a box that consists of sweets only too, the Kawaii box contains two candy products for us. One are Grape Gums with characters of the popular magical girl series Pretty Cure. Have you watched this anime? The second candy is Hello Kitty marshmallows. Looking forward to try both of these candies.

Review: 107 Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water

There are these brands that you see all over social media and somehow there is never that chance for you to get your hands on them. That’s exactly how my relationship with 107 Oneoseven was until now. I have read and stumbled over so many reviews about this korean cosmetics brand, and I can’t believe that this is really my first own review for it. Here is my impression on the 107 Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water, which was provided to me by Beautytap.com.

The brand 107 Oneoseven uses as key ingredient traditionally brewed Hanega vinegar, that has aged for 5-7 years. The vinegar is brewed with 20 oriental herbs to produce the optimal and best amount of essential amino acids. The brands name derives from the 107 secret formulas that have been kept for 35 generations for improving the skin and body.

The 107 Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water is a rose water based mist that contains the famous vinegar. It is the perfect combination to provide moisture to your face whenever needed. It can be used after cleansing as toner, for setting makeup or before using masks. It comes in a cute pink colored spraying bottle, that sprays a very fine mist.

The ingredients are short, though not as short as for the SanDaWha Camellia Flower Hydrating Mist. But still the ingredients are nothing to sneeze at! The list consists of course Rose Water, which I love for its luxury scent, but it also acts skin conditioning, anti-bacterial, contains many antioxidants, etc. Additionally, hyaluronic acid and a mix of amino acids are added. Last, but not least the mist contains 1 ppm (parts per million) Vinegar.

Ingredients: Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Dipropylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexandiol, Butylene Glycol, Water, Disodium EDTA, Betaine, Tripropylene Glycol, Histidine, Hyaluronic acid, Inositol, Arginine, Cysteine, Raffinose, Lysine, Glutamine, Glycine, Propylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Vinegar(1ppm)

I have discovered that this mist has also a very calming effect on my skin. Whenever I use the fine mist and my skin feels somehow reddish and irritated my skin seems to calm down after I apply the mist. I really love that effect, but I don’t know if this is only a coincidence either. Only my observations while using it. The mist is also suitable as setting mist after applying make-up, and give the skin a natural finish and makes your skin look more hydrated.

The 107 Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water contains 120 ml and is on sale right now at by Beautytap.com for 19.60 US$ instead of the original retail price of 28 US$. That to be said, the products from 107 Oneoseven are a bit more expensive compared to other more available Kbeauty brands. Yet, the selection of natural and high-end ingredients combined with the traditional oriental vinegar may justify the price.
