1. If you could have anyone in the world do your makeup, who would it be?
I never had my makeup done by anyone else than me so I surely would be curious whether a skilled makeup artist would do it any better…Neverthless, if I chose only one person in the world it would be Dita von Teese…of you know me for some time you know that I adore her because she is so ageless beautiful in a glamorous way. She states that she is doing her makeup herself for most of her shootings and stage appearances, so it would be nice to have her as makeup artist :D

2. What’s your top makeup tip?
Hahahaha, actually, I’m no makeup pro at all…I’m terrible at eyeshadow and pressed powder foundations. My eyeliner is okay but mainly because I apply eyeliner since forever…mostly I’m too lazy for any thoroughly makeup and I hardly used powders and bases…only occasionally on weekends….one tip that worked out for me is to apply transparent powder before foundation or bb cream. It reduces the problem that the makeup settles into the lines….I think it is generally known as Wayne Goss method …

3. What one makeup item could you not live without?
Eyeliner and lipstick…haha…I have many lipsticks…(still planning on doing a post on my collection…

4. What one skincare item could you not live without?
For skincare it is definitely cleanser!…and sunscreen :D

5. What are you worst at when it comes to applying makeup?
Applying eyeshadow neatly and make it look like a decent smokey eye makeup…oh…and I cannot apply false lashes at all :‘D

6. What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to beauty?
It seems to be a general trend for mid-ages to elderly women in Germany to apply blue eyeliner, but have a dull face and barely no other eyemakeup apart from this…especially women with blonde hair….I don’t think that this is any pretty at all and I’ve been wondering over and over when this was considered pretty…. I’m always on the brink of asking….

7. What’s your favorite makeup era?
I totally agree with Kim here: I love the 1940’s and 1950’s pin-up makeup! This is what I consider to be feminine….but it is no only the makeup but also the outfits and the hairstyle which all matches perfectly and looks really pretty! I’m not talented in hair-do’s and generally too lazy to apply rollers everyday….but I wished I could…

8. What’s your guilty pleasure product?
Luckily, I never quite see the sense in buying expensive products because the ones I received as gift or for reviewing were not always worth that much money either- at least in my eyes. Surely there were some breathtaking and luxurious products but after all you can find a cheap and less pretty looking alternative for each of them. I also would consider a 20 US $ lipstick as pricey and I only have one Lipstick from Mac for example…which I love, but which is not better in surviving through a meal than any other cheaper lipstick…But I’m willing to spend more money on perfumes and haircare on the other side. My favorite perfume is Angel from Thierry Mugler and the scent simply lasts for hours! And I love the Shiseido Tsubaki Haircare.

9. What’s your underdog product?

At the moment I do not have any specific in mind, but I usually love to try our different drugstore brands…

10. What’s your favorite makeup product of 2015?
I made a list of my favorite products >>here<< and taking a look back know my absolute favorite from this list would be the I’m From Honey Mask!

The Blush Addict Tag

I would never have considered myself as a blush addict since I have way more lip products than blushes, but after being nominated by KimKine (please do check out her wonderful blog!) I discovered that I have a bunch of blushes and for people with only one or two this might already be considered as an addict. Hopefully, you will enjoy my collection of blushes, although most of them are no high-end blushes and most shades are similar :’D

1. What colour blush suits you the most?

I like rose shades, but I think coral/peachy shades suit me most…

2. Pressed/cream/loose blush?

I like cream blushes because it is so easy to use them on the go. Most of my blushes are pressed blushes though.

3. Favourite shimmery blush?

Usually I don’t buy any shimmery blushes. But my favourite of the two I own is the Etude House Princess Happy Ending Rose Cheek Blusher.

4. Favourite matte blush?

At the moment it is Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in shade #11, before it was Bellapiere Mineral Blush Desert Rose.

5. Favourite cream blush?

Skinfood Rose Essence Soft Cream Blusher and 3CE Creamy Cheek Stick

6. Favourite drugstore blush?

I used to buy the Manhattan Cream Blusher regulary, when I only used and owned one single blush.

7. Favourite high-end blush?

My only higher-end blush is the Benefit Dandelion Blush which is part of my Benefit Feelin’ Dandy Kit.

8. Favourite bright blush?

I don’t have any bright blushes. the brightest would be 1028 Visual Therapy Muse Powder Blush.

9. Biggest blush disappointment/regret?

Holika Holika Love Fantasy Blusher. It is so pretty, but the lid doesn’t close properly and it largely depends on the brush you use whether the pigmentation is visible or not.

10. Best blush packaging?

Etude House usually does a great job in packaging, so I’m very easily tempted to buy them. I’m still lusting for Canmake blushes because they look super pretty, too, but I didn’t try any yet.

11. What’s on your blush wish list?

Canmake blushes are on my wishlist. And the famous NARS Orgasm Blush is something I would love to try. Kiko also launched a new ollection with some beatiful cream blush colors.

12. Number 1 holy grail blush?

I don’t have a real holy grail blush yet, but I was positively surprised by the Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher, because I didn’t expected it to be too good. It is one of my most used blushes at the moment.

A couple of days ago Bethany from Beauty Junkie on a Budget did this tag, and since I enjoyed reading it I thought about posting the tag aswell. Everybody who likes to do the tag aswell should feel free to do so, I won’t tag anybody specific :) 
Get to know me: Beauty Blogger Tag

1. Is your hair natural curly or straight?
I have naturally curly hair. Since I like having bangs I’m using a straightener for my bangs and sometimes all my hair.

2. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
I did both, but normally I dye my hair by myself, because it is cheaper ;)

3. Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it? 
for clothes: I change my style, sometimes it is more cute, sometimes more mature…but generally I love wearing skirts and dresses, or shorts, but I rarely wear trousers or jeans XD
for make up: usually I have my every day make-up (Eyeliner, lippie, BB cream, blush), except for special occasions
for hair: I try to change it sometimes, but normally I just leave my hair open and as it is
4. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?
I never went to a salon for mani/pedi. But I love doing it by myself :)

5. How often do you change your nail polish?
Once a week…until almost all the nail tips are worn off XD
6. Do you polish your toes in the winter or just in the summer?
Yes, I do. You do not have to renew the polish so often, that’s why I like it :D
7. How long does it take for you to put on your makeup?
I can do it in 10 minutes if I am in a hurry, but normally I need half an hour. 

8. What do you do first? Face or eyes?
I do my face first and then the eyes.

9. Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?
I try only to buy when needed, but sometimes it just happens I want to have some products for having them XD

10. How often do you wear false eyelashes?
Very rarely. Although I like the look of them. but I’m too clumsy to apply them, haha…
11. Do you do a full face of makeup everyday?
No. 

12. Do you wear makeup when your home alone, or with family?
If I know that I don’t leave the house to somewhere important, I won’t wear any makeup.

13. Will you leave the house without makeup?
Yes, especially if it’s nothing important like buying groceries or stuff like this. But on work I wear at least some eyeliner and mascara :D
14. How many high-end products do you have?
Not many…honestly, I think I only have 1 or 2…

15. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you are getting dressed?
Sometimes on the same day, sometimes a day before.

16. How often do you change your handbag?
I wish I had more handbags to change them, but I do not have a lot, and for work I need a larger bag, so I end up using a lot canvas bags.

17. What time do you wake up and go to sleep?
I wake up at 7 a.m and I go to sleep at 1 a.m….I guess I should sleep more.

18. How often or when do you workout?
I try to do some once a week, but I hate it, and I’ve been hating it ever since XD

19. Left handed or right handed?
Right-handed. 
20. How tall are you?
164 cm

21. Do you speak any foreign language?
I speek English, German and Kurdish and I learned French and Spanish in school. I did a basic course in Norwegian some terms ago which was quite fun and I’m planning on learning Italian sometime.

22. How many pets do you have?
Sadly, I don’t have any pets at the moment, I honestly do not have the time for it. but I’d love to establish a Aquarium….
23. How often are you on blogger?
Often, but I do not count it.

24. Do you read comments posted on blogs?
Yes.
25. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?
I start keeping lists, and then I forget to update them…

26. How did you come up with your Blog name?
There is an old advertisement for the Lipstick by Revlon called “cherries in the snow”. I’d love to take this name, but it was taken, so I changed it to “berries in the snow” XD

27. What kind of camera do you use for your photographs?
I’m using Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ3, a digital camera.

28. How often do you clean your house?
Not often enough…I’m so lazy >_<””

29. What’s your favorite color?
Black and red colors are my favourites.
30. Do you swear?
not really…o_o….is this normal?! Perhaps something is wrong with my head. I’m not sure…

31. What are you doing with the rest of your day?
Continue working, then going home, doing some cooking, hanging around with my family and my boyfriend :D
