I’m happy to be able to show you another unboxing of the InsStyle Box. This box is the Winter Edition and if you are curious what was inside previous boxes you can look it up >>here<<. Of course, topic of the winter edition would be products that we love and enjoy to use during winter. But it is also about what looks appealing to us from its outside. Many people feel attracted towards beautiful packaging design and I’m no exception. Just give me something cute or beautiful and I’m tempted to get it :D

Zoella Just Say Yes Beauty Pouch

If you have followed my instagram you might know that I have many beauty pouches….one might consider it as pouch addiction. Now, I have a new addition and it is so lovely to look at: I like the light pink color with dots and the saying “Just say yes”. Also does it have a good size that fits a good amount of products.

Frizz Ease Wonder Repair Shampoo & conditioner

There have been times when I only used Freeze Ease shampoo, because it was the only one that could handle my frizzy hair. But then I discovered asian beauty and loved to try out different asian hair products. Now, having the Wonder Repair shampoo and conditioner I’m really looking forward how it will work and if it will lighten up my old love for Freeze Ease again.

Skinmono Intense Nourishment+ Hand Mask

A hand mask is exactly what my dry hands need in winter! I’ve already planned to use this mask on this weekend for some extra pampering *_* And honestly, I love the dark green color combined with the gold of the packaging.

Real Techniques Concealer Brush

I heard a lot of good things about Real Techniques Brush. To receive one of these brushes made me super happy, although I don’t use concealer very often, but maybe it will work for foundation, too. I love the orange metallic handle by the way!

L.O.V Browttitude Eyebrow Contouring Palette

This is what I was most excited about! I love brow products and since my Etude House Brow Kit is hitting the pan and is getting old and expired I needed a replacement. And so this L.O.V Browttitude Contouring Palette came just in time. I already used it a couple of times since then and there will be a review for sure.

Tavana Big Five Lash Safari Keratin Volume Mascara

This is definitely a mascara that attracts by the packaging. I love the zebra pattern of this mascara. Since I have a lot of mascaras in use currently, I haven’t opened this one, yet.

Figs & Rouge – HA+ Hyaluronic Acid 3 in 1 Hydra Active Hero Cream

Moisturize, repair and support of the skin of your body and face are the main target of this multipurpose cream. I love the pattern of the lid of this cream, which comes in a tin jar. The pattern varies and there are different designs to choose from.

Veganz Bio Hanfriegel Apfel & Zimt

I love cereal bars like that and guess how quick I was about eating that bar from Veganz….:D I’m not a lot for apple taste in cereals and cereal bars, but it was a nice and unusual taste anyways.

Last but not last the box contained a tea candle and a bag for some nice and cozy moments. A really cute idea for the season.

As always, the InStyle Box contains a lot of products and shows versatility and gives a lot of information by the thorough magazine. The box really has a great value for its price and all the products will be of use during the next months. The idea with the candle was also a sweet gesture and perfect for the season. I already love the brow kit, and I’m looking forward to test the hand mask soon. The InStyle Box is available on shop.instyle.de for 29.90€ and comes with 3 e-paper versions of the InStyle magazine. I love Japanese beauty products equally much to Korean beauty products, but unfortunately, they are a bit harder to get. Remember when I reviewed some Japanese products from Kirei Station a while ago? Guess what?! Now they have also a subscription box to offer: the Getsu Box! Here is an unboxing of the first Getsu Box November 2017:

What is Kirei Station Getsu Box?

This box came with 3 full-sized makeup products, one mask, and some cute samples and chocolate! *_* Of course there was also a description note for the single products included.

Sana Pore Putty CC Cream

This was my personal highlight of this box. I’ve wanted to try this CC cream for forever and here it is! And it has become my go-to daily CC cream for the last weeks. This CC cream offers a pore-less, skin-like natural finish, claims to be long-lasting, and contains SPF 50+ PA++++ and hyaluronic acid. Apart from the “natural matte” finish, which was part of the Getsu Box here, this CC cream is also available in “Enriched Moist” and “Bright Up”. It also was a part of the Cosme 2017 Mid-year rankings.

Cezanne Gel Eyeliner

Cezanne is also one of the more popular Japanese beauty brand. This brown colored gel eyeliner has a soft texture and a natural pigmentation. It doesn’t smudge or bulge at all and it was really a thing to remove my swatched line on my hand. It is waterproof and can be used as eyeliner, but also blended out for more depth. It is available in black, too, but in Japan brown eyeliner is really popular, because it gives a more natural look.

Shiseido Therapindo Oil Balm R

This oil balm bar by Shiseido is perfect for winter days. It is made with lavender essence and sesame oil. I haven’t used it yet, but I’m sure it will be useful in the next months. And look at this adorable packaging design! I wished the western Shiseido products would offer more of their girly designs here, too.

Kose Clear Turn Lift Astaxanthin Mask

You can never go wrong with a mask! This sheet masks contains Astaxanthin for firmness and anti-aging. The Kose Clear Turn masks have been number 1 in the sheet mask category in Japan from January 2006 to December 2016! That sounds like a really superb mask to me!

Last but not least, some samples and chocolate!*_*

What do you think about this box? I will make use of all the products, so I’d say that this was a good one for me. My highlight is the CC cream, which I’m really using on a daily basis at the moment :) The Getsu Box retails for 30 US$ plus shipping if you want to opt for EMS or registered mail (SAL is free of charge). There are also options to get the Gestu Box for 3, 6, or 12 months. At the moment you can subscribe for the January Getsu Box, which will include 4 full-sized products and 4 other products (masks/travel sized/snacks/samples…).

“Home Sweet Home”, that’s the topic of the Glossybox October 2017. And for sure, the colder season makes everybody longing for staying at home as much as possible. I want to share the content of this beauty box with you, which was kindly provided to me by Glossybox.

Merci Handy “Crème de la Crème” Hand Cream

These new hand creams from Merci Handy are available in 4 different scents. I received “Flower Power” in my Glossybox, but the other scents are called “Chérie Cherry”, “New Wave”, and “Hello Sunshine”. I love the hand sanitizers from Merci Handy, so I’m really curious how this hand cream will perform. It retails for 4,90€ and contains 30 ml each tube.

Dove Shower Cream Coconut and Almond

I love the scent of Dove products and that soapy rich scent combined with coconut and almond is pure heaven for me! I already started using this product and love it so much, with the rich foam and the scent that reminds me of summer. 250 ml retail for 2,99€.

Pixi by Petra Brow Tamer

Although Pixi is hyped all over the internet by almost everybody I must confess that this is the first ever Pixi product I own. That makes me especially excited! This brow tames and fixes your eyebrows and keeps them in shape for the day. It is free from parabens, fragrances and free from animal testing. 4,5 ml retail for 14,20€.

Sans Soucis Moisture Deep Moist Depot Sleeping Beauty

This night cream and sleeping mask is a highly nourishing cream containing hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and peptides. The protective barrier of the skin is strengthened and the skin is moisturized. This jar is a travel sized product, but the full-sized product containing 50 ml retails for 32,00€.

Montagne Jeunesse Foot Bath and Lotion

Last but not least, some spa for your feet instead of your face. Montagne Jeunesse is well-known for their masks and sheet masks. I never tried any of their foot or hand products though. This bath and lotion combination retails for 1,79€ for each sachet.

This box really makes it easy to give yourself some pampering time during the transition to colder weather. I like how it contains products for the body, face, hands and feet, so you have a real all-round spa experience here. All of the products are useful, too, and will find their way sooner or later into my routine.

The German Glossybox in July has been curated together with the makeup artist Linda Hallberg and is themed “Pink Planet Edition”. The box was kindly provided to me for reviewing purpose by Glossybox. For this special theme the box has been beautifully redesigned. Let’s see what kind of beauty adventures wait for us on our pink planet.

Glossybox is a monthly beauty subscription box containing a selection of 5 beauty and wellness products packed in a box and delivered to your doorstep. The box was founded in 2011 and has spread in over 10 countries all over the world.

The topic of the Glossybox July 2017 was “Pink Planet Box”. This is also represented by the space design of the box, with a pink planet and a pink rocket flying towards it. This month the box contains 5 products and 2 goodies. I absolutely love the design of the box and especially that tiny rocket. It is so adorable!

As always, it also contains the so-called Glossy Magazine for the month containing all the information about the products that were added in the boxes. Let’s have a look inside:

Bellàpierre Cosmetics Banana Setting Powder (fullsize, 25.oo € / 4 g)

In the past I received a powder blush from Bellàpierre in a Glossybox and it had such a lovely texture and color. So happy to be able to try another product from this brand. It seems to be a popular product from the brand and can be used to fix makeup, as eyeshadow base, or simply to mattify and even the skin.

BC Oil Miracle Light Oil Shampoo (Deluxe Sample Size, 4.20 € / 30 ml)

This shampoo sounds perfect for my dry hair. It is described as crystal-clear shampoo containing micro emulsion oil droplets to make the hair soft and glowy.

Dove DermaSpa Pure Leichtigkeit Body Lotion (fullsize, 4.99 € / 200 ml)

I’m always open for new body lotions. This one is supposed to absorb quickly into the skin and leave a soft and fresh feeling on the skin. Looking forward to try it.

Otto Kern Never Hide Cream Shower

I didn’t try it yet, but the scent is nice and a mixture of salty / fruity. This is also perfect for upcoming vacations.

De Bruyère Eau de Beauté Monoi Body Splash (fullsize, 16.00 € /50 ml)

Aloha! A sweet and fresh scent for body and hair. I really like the Hawaiian vibes on the bottle. It is really cute and fits nicely into my vacation bag, too!

Purelei Hair Tie

There were 2 goodies included in this box. The first one you can see in the picture above with the Aloha body splash and it is an adorable pink hair tie from Purelei, perfectly fitting to the Hawaiian vibes and summer time .

Bio:Végane skinfood Bio Cranberry Sheet Mask (fullsize, 4.99 €/pc)

I love! Sheet Masks are always good to have at hands! They are a perfect timesaver, perfect for travelling and reaaaally relaxing. I was curious about that new brand Bio:Végane anyways, so I’m happy to test their sheet masks now. Key ingredients of the mask are cranberry extract and hyaluronic acid.

As you can see the Glossybox July 2017 only includes one makeup product. Most of the other products are focussing on skin and body care. I guess it is a nice summer box. I especially love the two goodies: sheet masks are always great and I also love hair ties.

I have a lot of unboxings in the next time, so i hope you won’t get too bored… I’m a bit late on this box though. Here is my unboxing of the German Glossybox for June 2017:

As mostly, the Glossybox comes in its signature pale pink box and is beautifully packed inside with a ribbon. It contains the so-called Glossy Magazine for the month of box containing all the information about the products that were added in the boxes.

The topic of the Glossybox June 2017 was “Salsa Summer Nights”. The products of this box were dedicated to passion and enjoyment of life during hot summer nights. Usually, Glossybox contains 5 products, but extras are added aswell. Let’s see what was inside:

Luxie Onyx Noir Small Contouring Face Brush 512 (full-size, 20.60 € /pc)

I’m always happy about makeup brushes! And since I do not have a descent contouring brush this one was perfect for me. This brush is paraben-free and vegan and has very fine and soft bristles. The price is really steep, so without the Glossybox I would probably never had considered buying it.

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer 05 (full-size, 2.99 € / 10.5 ml)

I was curious about the new nail polishes from Catrice the last time I was in the drugstore. I didn’t buy any and lucky as I am here is one of them…and in my favoruite nail polish color, too! Love the shade, but I haven’t tested it yet. It promises to last 7 days long without top coat and contains Acai oil.

Rausch Hairspray strong aerosol (4.80 € / 75 ml)

The brand Rausch is known for herbal cosmetics from Switzerland. This hair spray is supposed to have a pleasant scent and not be sticky. Also it is easy to brush out. I haven’t used it yet.

Ciaté London Fierce Flicks Eyeliner (full-size, 18.00 € / 1,7 ml)

My favourite product of this box! I love brush pen eyeliner and I was thinking about testing the one from Ciaté previously. I’m so happy it was part of this box, and together with the red nail polish it really brings some Salsa vibes. The brush tip is easy to use and is really pigmented. Love it!

Invisibobble Nano (full-size, 3.95 € / 3 pc)

These are the tiny versions of the regular Invisibobble hair ties. I like those kinds of hair ties and the small versions will be useful for smaller braids. Looking forward to use them, a pitty though they are not black or brown :D .

This time two extra goodies were added:

Quickcap Beauty (Bottle and 1 cap, 21.90 € / Set (7 Caps + bottle)

The concept of Quickcap are special caps containing supplements to add to your water. The box contained a bottle and one cap from the beauty range., tasting of peach and promising the stimulation of collagen production. when looking at the ingredients list it is moistly a mix of tea and plant extracts. Nothing special. I doubt that it has any effect on collagen production and also I do not like the idea of producing more waste by using a new cap each time, apart from the high price on top. This product is not my cup of tea after all.

L’Oréal Hydra Genius Aloe Water

A sample of this new hydrating toner by L’Oréal was added,t oo. I’m curious about it and so I’m happy about this goodie :)

The products in this box were nicely selected and there were some highlights for me. What I didn’t like that much was the beauty drink Quickcaps. Apart from the taste and price it is a lot of waste which is produced by products like that. It is better to make your own beauty water by putting some herbs and fruits into plain water and drink it. I doubt that drinks like that show much of an effect. Anyways, since it was a goodie it is fine, too. Also, I do not use hair spray very often (Rausch), but apart of these two products I love all the others. The nail polish has a beautiful cilor, the eyeliner pen is awesome and the mini invisibobbles are great. And who doen’t love to receive a good quality makeup brush either?!

A Korean makeup kit for a fresh look achievable in only 10 minutes? YesStyle Beauty Box Sweet Spring Make-Up Kit promises exactly that. This beauty box launched in spring this year and was offered to me for reviewing purpose from YesStyle.

I also showed a previous YesStyle Beauty Box here on my blog and I really like how they create their boxes: beautiful packaging and many different products. This time we have 5 full-sized and 4 sample sized products in the box.

YesStyle is the first online retailer to globally distribute a wide range of fashion, beauty and lifestyle products from Asia. Apart from their selection of Korean beauty products you will also find Japanese and Taiwanese products in their selection.

Of course the box comes with a description card for the products inside. Look at the cute and colorful flower illustrations!

Now, let’s have a look inside and see what products we have got here:

RiRe – Luxe Dual Stick #2 Shadow + Blusher | Full Size

This multi-purpose dual stick can be used as blush but also on the lids or as eyeshadow. Perfect for travelling and enables fast application, too. The colors are a light and a strong pink shade, that are blendable to softer tones. You can see the swatches below. It retails for 8.45 US$ from YesStyle.

RiRe – Lip Manicure Rouge Highfix | Full Size

This liquid and long-lasting lipstick dries down in a matte finish and has a high pigmentation. I reviewed the RiRe Lip Manicure before and compared it to the Clio Lipnicure >>here<<. The color is a dark red, which is glossy upon pigmentation but dries down matte. It retails for 7.51 US$.

After the color makeup let’s continue with the eyes:

A’PIEU – My Little Mascara (High Curling) | Full Size

This curling mascara applies long-lasting polymer coats onto the lashes and adds drama. The curved wand helps to curls the lashes and the compact size makes it perfect for travel. It retails for 4.90 US$.

MCC – Accent Waterproof Eyeliner (#1 Accent Black) | Full Size

This waterproof eyeliner pencil with a creamy tip and good pigmentation contains Vitamin E. Also, it contains a sharpener for the tip to allow a precise application. It retails for 4.90 US$.

Berrisom – Oops Dual Contouring (No.01 Highlighter & Shading) | Full Size

My favourite product of this box! This dual pen contains highlighter and contouring and is perfect for travelling. The product has a matte finish, without any shine or shimmer and is easily blendable. It retails for 8.46 US$.

Apart from the fullsized products a couple of samples were included:

Heimish – All Clean Balm | Deluxe Sample

I’m super excited for this cleansing balm because I read some good reviews. And I love the Heimish lipsticks! this cleansing balm melts to oil and removes makeup. It is suited for sensitive skin and contains shea butter, citrus herbs, fruits and white flower extracts. It retails for 17.16 US$ in full size.

Thank you Farmer – Sun Project Sun Essence + Be Beautiful BB Cream & CC Cream Trial Set | Sample

This sample contains a sachet for the suncream, the BB cream and the CC cream of this brand. The suncream also acts als makeup base. I heard positive things about this brand so looking forward to try these. You can find full-sized products from Thank You Farmer >>here<<.

Etude House – Pink Vital Water Trial Kit | Sample

So happy to meet the pink water serum again. I reviewed it in the past and liked using it. This sample set comes with toner, serum and emulsion. The pink vital line contains peach water and vitamins A,E, and C. You can find the products >>here<<.

COSRX – Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser | Sample

A gentle cleanser thanks to low pH, to remove the dirt from the skin but not leave it dried out. Sounds perfect and definitely worth a try soon. It contains tea tree oil and BHA, too, so helps with skin troubles as well! It retails for 10.36 US$ in full size.

I love the versatility of the YesStyle Beauty Box Sweet Spring Make-Up Kit and how it fits the topic. The products are easy to use and help to achieve a quick and beautiful makeup look, but also do they allow to take the products in your pouch or travel because they are travel-friendly too. Thumbs up for this great box! The downside is the price in my eyes: The full box retails for 34.93 US$. The price reflects the value of the products, but it is not considerably cheaper than buying all the products for themselves.

Unboxing: Glossybox May 2017

After my positive re-discovery of the Glossybox I was more than happy when I received another box in May, although I didn’t expect any box at all. Here is my unboxing of the German Glossybox May 2017:

The topic of the Glossybox for May 2017 was “Wild At Heart”. May is the start of summer and outdoor time and therefore it’s the perfect month to show our wild and rough styles at the next outdoor event. Therefore, Glossybox supplies us with skincare and makeup products.

Although the magazine says that the box contains 5 of the products which are mentioned in the magazine I spotted 6 products in my box. The products that I received are super versatile reaching from hair to body, over to makeup.

got2b Dry Shampoo

There was the option to receive the got2b dry shampoo for volume or for extra freshness. My box contained the blue version for volume. I love and use a lot dry shampoo, especially for camping and festivals…or when I cut my bangs. It is nice to see that more brands start to launch their dry shampoos after there were hardly any brands 10 years ago. Now there are all kinds of scents and colors and brands available. I still have my dry shampoo from batiste in use, but I’m looking forward to try this one from got2b.

Ultrasun Anti-Age SPF30

This cream combines anti-aging and sunscreen in one product and protects your face from UV rays this summer. It is a mild sunscreen sold at the pharmacy and contains no perfume, mineral oil, PEG/PGG, emulators, silicon, ethylhexylmethoxicinnamate, octocylene, butylmethoxydibenzoylmethan, aluminium and aluminium compounds, and preservatives. The sunscreen is water-resistant too, leaves a slightly greasiness, but all in all absorbs relatively fast. I would recommend it for people who are especially on the look for a sunscreen that avoids the mentioned ingredients.

Dr. Severin Women Original Body After Shave Balsam

This is probably my favorite product from the box and I’m so sad that it is only a travel-sized version of it. This gel can be applied on the parts of your body that you have shaved or depilated to remove body hair. It contains Witch Hazel, Menthol and Rosemary and helps to calm down the skin and make it soft. Oh, and it is vegan, too.

Rodial Glamolash Mascara XXL

This lash maximizer enhances the volume of your lashes and gives a pitch-black color on top. The included travel size fits perfect into your bag. The included waxes nourish your lashes and keep them smooth and soft.

Absolute New York Pure Metal Veil

Another well-balanced box in my opinion. I really like how this box and the previous one really try to have a versatile range of products. I also like how for this box everything fit into the festival/travel/summer theme. I will definitely use all the products from this box (or have already started using them).

At the moment there are so many new subscription boxes on the market – and most of them revolve around beauty and beauty products – that it is hard to decide for any of them. Here is another subscription box called Barbara Box I want to introduce to you and here we have a slightly different approach, which I really appreciate and am excited to share:

I talked about the launch of this box earlier on my Instagram and although I was not able to attend the launching event I was sent a box to show you. I’m super happy and thankful for this opportunity :)

The Barbara Box ambassador is also the donor of the name, a German celebrity called Barbara Schöneberger. The box is not only advertised by her but also she selects the products. The topic of the boxes revolve around “Girls Night” with your best friend(s) and contain food, drinks, beauty, decoration, games…so as you see the Barbara Box seems to be very versatile.

The box is not a monthly box but is released every three months and comes together with a print of the Barbara magazine, also a magazine curated by Barbara Schöneberger and addressing women in their 30s...but enough of the talk, let’s see what is inside the first Barbara Box:

Inside a light pink box there are 10 different products of all kinds, but the first product popping into my eyes is the Missha sheet mask! I love Missha, I love kbeauty and I love that I finally receive a German subscription containing a sheet mask :D In my box I found the Missha Pure Source Cell Sheet Mask containing Lotus Flower. Although I’ve tried like hundreds of sheet masks literally I didn’t try this mask yet, which makes me even more happy! A pity it only comes with one instead of two masks. It would be fund to share a second mask with your BFF. The Missha Mask is listed with a price of 1.75 € in the product description card included.

The second product in my hands was a postcard set by Typealive. These are really beautifully designed and I love the minimalistic black and white here. This set of 4 postcards retails for 8 €.

The Barbara Box was really heavy when I received it and looking at the content the reason for this were the drinks included:

First of all there were two cans of Tranquini, a natural drink for relaxing and compensating stress. I never heard of that drink and I’m even more curious to try it now :D There is one with the flavor Green Tea Mix and one with Berry Mix. This drink retails for 1.39 € per can. The second heavy product was a small bottle of sparkling wine with elder flower from the brand Jive. It retails for 1.19€.

Another drink, but yet not ready to drink, was also included in form of a small tin of Kusmi Tea. It’s a green tea blend with strawberries and it smells soooo delicious. I love green tea and I love strawberries! This seems to be my new favorite tea. The small tin of Kusmi Tea retails for 5 €.

What I like especially about the Barbara Box is its versatility. It does not only contain the usual products, but it also included a party game in this box. I love board games and we are having board game evenings with our friends here quite often. I’m not exactly in favor of party gaming though, but I can imagine that some people love these kinds of games and would be happy about it. The game you’ll find here is called Privacy by the game company Amigo. It retails for 11€.

There is no girls night without some snacks. So this box surprises with the Bahlsen Cookie Chips Chocolate Chips. They taste deliciously like chocolate cookies, but are thin and crispy. I could not keep these untouched for long :D The Cookie Chips retail for 1.69€.

The first Barbara Box also came with a notebook. Since Bullet Journaling seems to be very trendy at the moment I can imagine that this is really useful for many. I would have loved a cute design on the front instead of simply the brand. But I like that the pages are clear with dots instead of lines or caskets. It retails for 6.50€.

And what else is important on a girls night? Nail polish of course. I love the red shade of the Faby Nail Lacquer that was in my box. The perfect color for me. There was one of two colors included in the box, either Red Carpet or Simply Perfect. My nail polish here is in shade “Simply Perfect”. Faby is an Italian brand and their nail polishes are vegan, 5-free (without Formaldehyd, Toluol, Campher, Dibutylphthalat and Formaldehyd resins), and are supposed to be long lasting. they retail for 15 €.

The last item, and also my favorite one of the non-beauty items is this light scarf from Codello. There were different colors available and my box came with a light cream colored scarf, the perfect color for spring and summer and I love it so much. Codello is known for their scarfs and bags and they also have a cute Disney Collection at the moment. The scarf retails for 29.95€ and is a blend of viscose and polyester.

So, this is it! The content of the first Barbara Box was really enjoyable and I love the versatility here. I like the idea of having a box that can be enjoyed on a girls night. Also, the fact that this box is released not every month but every three months makes it more appalling, in my opinion. The box retails for 29.95 €, but there are also options for a yearly or half year order with 4 or 2 boxes, respectively. Considering the prize of the included products in the first box here it made up for that prize definitely. I hope that the future boxes will be as beautifully curated as this one. What do you think?

Unboxing: Fem.Box February 2017

A couple of days ago I received the fem.box for February and I wanted to share its content with you today. The Fem.Box is a monthly subscription boxes comes packed with products revolving around beauty, fashion, lifestyle and health. Let’s see what was inside:

The ambassador of the fem.box is Fernanda Brandao is a brasilian singer, actress, moderator and fitness expert that gained popularity in Germany by the pop group “Hot Banditoz”. She also has hadquite some TV appearances here in Germany within the last years. The fem.box advertises not only to be a box for beauty lovers also, but have more versatile components. And I must say the first box I received last year really lived up to this claim. This time the content was less convincing to me:

Again the box comes with the beautiful blue/purple cardboard box. It always brightens up my mood to see these colors.

Inside you will find cards and descriptions of the products as usual. All in all, the box contains 6 products in total.

edding L.A.Q.U.E nail polish

I was happy about this product, although last month’s box also contained nail polish. I heard good things about the nail polishes from edding, and also the dusty rose shade is really pretty. I hope I can show you on my Instagram soon. The nail polish is supposed to be long-lasting and retails for 7.99 € per 8 ml.

BATISTE Dry Shampoo “Blush”

I reviewed the pigmented dry shampoos from Batiste before and I’m happy that the box does contain another version of the dry shampoo here. I use dry shampoo quite often in order to avoid washing my hair every day (mainly on my bangs). “Blush” has a flower scent and seems to be perfect for spring. It retails for 3.99€ per 200 ml.

Amorelie Warming Massage Oil

This warming massage oil contains panthenol and extract of grape leaves. It has a straberry scent and taste and can be used for body care or for massaging your beloved one. It retails for 14.90 € per 100 ml and is the most expensive product out of the box.

Mymuesli N’Oats

I bought the full-size of these instant porridge previously in another version and it was tasty. This one has the perfect size to take it to work and I will probably eat it somewhen this week :D The to-go cup retails for 1.29€ and contains 30 g of product.

Myline Raspberry-Yoghurt-Crisp Bar

I ate this bar today at work and it was really delicious. I love combinations of yoghurt and berries and the bar was also coated in chocolate. It retails for 1.79€ per bar.

FRIYA Superfood Drink with Chia

The previous box also contained a superfood drink by FRIYA. I didn’t try this one yet, but I will also take it to work with me. According to the description it has a lime/ginger taste, which sounds quite yummy. 200 ml retails for 1.95€.

All in all, the fem.box February 2017 contained again interesting products that were partly new to me! There were 6 products in total and a mixture between food and cosmetics product. What was slightly dissapointing is that there was again a FRIYA Superfood Drink like in last months box, and also a nail polish again. It would be nice to see different types of products in future boxes. The price of 19.95€ per box/month is okay, considering the retail value of the products, but still considering the similarity of one third of the products to the previous box is a bit of a downer. The subscription of the box can be quit every month and the shipping costs are included in the price. The box only ships to Germany at the moment, but since it has launched newly who knows what the future brings to us!

Unboxing: TokyoTreat Box October 2016 | Autumn Flavors and Halloween

While I’m writing these lines I’m already nibbling some chocolate from this Japanese candy and snack subscription box. I did an unboxing for TokyoTreat Box in the past and here is another one, this time for the TokyoTreat Box October 2016, which was themed “Autumn Flavors and Halloween”!

TokyoTreat is a monthly subscription box service located in Japan and delivering handpicked candies and snacks directly from Japan. The range of their snacks and treats reaches from sweet to savory and the best part is that they have free worldwide shipping for their subscription boxes.

They have differently priced and sized boxes for subscribing. The smallest and also cheapest retails for 14.99 US $ and contains 5-7 full-sized Japanese candies and snacks. The medium (called regular) sized box contains 8-12 full-sized candies and snacks and a DIY Candy Kit for 24.99 US $. Lastly, there is the premium option for 34.99 US $ containing 13-17 candies and snacks , one DIY Candy Kit, 1 drink and one special item, which can be a drink, Gachapon Toy or Premium DIY Kit.

The TokyoTreat box I received is the one from October and it is the Premium box containing all the possible products you would have received (including the products from the small and regular box). Since October is mid of autumn and also the Halloween month the items in this box revolve around these two topics! I will divide the products into the box categories, so you will get a better overview of how the box is structured.

TokyoTreat Box Small

The SmallTokyoTreat Box for October contains 6 different products: Lotte Koala’s March Halloween Edition, Pipo Chocolate, Uncle Pierre’s Strawberry Cream Roll Cake, Hip Hop Berry Soft Candy Stick, O’Zack Hot Carnival Chili Lime Flavor, and Onion Taro. I love the Koala March Biscuits and every time I’m at the Asian super market I will grab one of these. The Halloween edition is most adorable and so cutely designed. If they had been available during Halloween here I would surely have bought a bunch of them for the Halloween Party! While writing this post I’m eating the Pipo Chocolate. These small balls of covered chocolate remind me of m&ms (without nuts) and are nice to eat in-between. The Uncle Pierre’s Strawberry Cream Roll Cake was a perfect desert to bring to work. Cute design and soft and fluffy cake. Despite being a chocolate and biscuit lover I also really liked the O’Zack Hot Carnival Chili Lime Flavor chips. I love the combination of chili and lime generally! Onion Taro are onion flavored corn puffs. I didn’t try them yet, but corn puffs are always popular with everyone. I also didn’t try the Hip Hop Berry Soft Candy Stick yet, but it is a soft candy stick with two flavors. Soda on the outside and berry flavor on the inside. Sounds nice!

TokyoTreat Box Regular

In addition to the products mentioned above the Regular TokyoTreat Box contains four more products: Nyoki Nyoki Corocon, Look Purple sweet Potato and Sweet Chestnut Chocolate, Premium Hi-Chew – Chardonnay White Grape Flavor, and Peppered Soybean Jerky! Nyoki Nyoki Cocoron is a DIY Candy Kit creating three different types of candy with grape, melon or orange taste. You only need to add some water. I didn’t try it yet, but those DIY candies are fun especially with kids. The Look Purple sweet Potato and Sweet Chestnut Chocolate was again my highlight and also a perfect Autumn themed product. these chocolate bites are either filled with a purple sweet potato filling or a chestnut filling and I loved both of them! And most of all I loved the idea of that kind of fillings! I didn’t try the Premium Hi-Chew – Chardonnay White Grape Flavor but they are chewy candies with a center made from Chardonnay Grape Juice. The outside coating is made with the juice of Muscat of Alexandria. I’m looking forward to try these, although grape flavor is usually not my favorite for candies – but Japanese love grape flavored candy! A completely new world for me was the Peppered Soybean Jerky! I tried beef jerky in the past, but I didn’t know that there was actually a vegetarian version for it! These are tasteful, salty and slightly spicy. Thumbs up!

TokyoTreat Box Premium

Last but not least, there were 6 more products and one Sticker for the TokyoTreat Premium Box in addition to all the products above: Tropicana Season’s Best – Mix Fruit Juice, Kinoko No Yama – Chestnut Chocolate Autumn Edition, Wasabi Nori Taro, Bubbly Salty Lemonade Puccho Gummy, Meiji Grape Wine Gums, Halloween Themed Chopsticks, and the TokyoTreat Original Halloween Sticker. The Tropicana Season’s Best – Mix Fruit Juice contains highly seasonal persimmons in addition to apple, pear, peach, grape and oranges. Unfortunately, the Persimmon taste was not really recognizable. For me it tasted like a typical multivitamin juice. I didn’t try the Wasabi Nori Taro and I’m a bit hesitating to do. It is a dried fish snack with wasabi flavoring. I also didn’t try the Bubbly Salty Lemonade Puccho Gummy yet. These lemonade flavored gummy have a pinch of salt added. I liked the Meiji Grape Wine Gums, a soft whine gum with grape flavor. As you can see from the sticker it was a bonus item! My favorite from these 6 prosucts were the Kinoko No Yama – Chestnut Chocolate Autumn Edition! I loved them and they were the first product to be opened and consumed from the whole box. Loved the chestnut taste in the chocolate filling and love the shape…tiny mushrooms, so adorable! Additionally to the sweets there were Halloween themed Chopsticks included and a Sticker from TokyoTreat! Really a lovely idea!

All in all they made a good themed box which fits perfectly into Autumn and Halloween mood. I loved that the box included chestnut flavors for example. I’m a sucker for chocolate and biscuits, so the Koala March and the Kinoko No Yama were the first to be eaten!

I love how the TokyoTreat Box October 2016 fits into its Autumn and Halloween theme. The products were also well balanced between sweet and savory. It is also super nice to have three sizes of the box to select. Of Course, if your taste is not open to everything food subscription boxes are not really the best option, but if you are curious for Japan’s typical snacks I can recommend this box.
