Review: Etude House Magic Tint Balm No.1 Magic Red ♥sponsored♥

10. July 2013
Hey there ♥
As I announced on Instagram I have some upcoming posts for you. Everybody living in Europe and UK should be especially interested right now, because the product I’ll be showing here was sent to me by www.koreankosmetic.co.uk for reviewing purpose. Yes, it’s really a shop selling Korean make-up products based in the UK! And this means you will get your ordered products within a very short time! Yeii, that’s so awesome :D KoKo is a rather new shop founded end of last year. Currently they are shipping to Europe and UK only and if you are living in UK you can get free shipping at the moment, too! The shipping from UK to Germany was really fast. It arrived after 4 business days. They put their logo sticker on the envelope, too. It’s really cute ♥

I will review Etude House’s Magic Tint Balm No. 1 today, which is called “Magic Red”. This is a lip balm in a small but sturdy plastic jar. This lip balm should not only moisturize, but it gives your lips a slight tint. This product is available in four different shades in total. KoKo offers two shades: “Magic Red” and “Magic Pink”

Here is the description taken from KoKo:

Etude House Magic Tint Balm is a textured lip tint which supplies moisture and natural color to lips.
Benefits: Contains Vitamin E
Colours:
Magic Red
Magic Pink
Size: 10g

The packaging is obviously very cute, typical for Etude House products. The plastic jar is not easily to break or damage. The lid is decorated with a cute ornament and the name of the product in a twirly font. It might be, that this ornament and the font will vanish after a time if you will consider to take this product with you often. But that’s typical for those plastic jars.
The product is a colored balm, which is red in my case. It is very smooth and easy to apply even if you would use your fingers and have longer nails (the germaphobics will be shocked, I know, shame on me >_<”’). Of course you can use a lip brush, too!!:D
The color is comparable to Etude House Kissful Tint Choux in red (review here), which is more a fuchsia red than a real tomato red. The scent is pretty much similar, too. It reminds of some childhood bubble gums or something similar. It doesn’t have a taste, which I personally like. The stain of the product is very subtle. If you like a little more pigmentation I would recommend you the Kissful Tint Choux instead or the Magic Tint Balm.
After applying your lips will look super plum and glossy. Of course the balm does what a lip balm should do in first place: it gives your lips a smooth and moisturized feeling. This effect lasts for about 2 hours (including drinking something during this time) before I have the feeling of having to reapply. Also the color is barely visible anymore, since it is very subtle in the first place.

All in all, this is a very nice balm. I like the fell on the lips and it does it’s job as a balm. Also it is small and cute and uneasily to damage, which makes it perfect for your handbag. If you are looking for more pigmentation you should go for another tint. This tint costs GBP 5.50 at www.koreankosmetic.co.uk.You should also check out their facebook page, they provide from time to time giveaways which are open internationally.

For all UK residents: KoKo will be at a Korean Pop-up shop in London in August the 4th 2013 from 11am-6pm – they’ll have an own stall with their products from the online store! They’ll be giving 20% off everything from the retail price if you purchase on the day. You can find the information here: https://www.facebook.com/events/654870901209494/

Review: Skinfood Gold Caviar Nutrition Mask

7. July 2013
Here is a sample of Skinfood’s Gold Caviar Nutrition Mask, which I got with my last order at W2Beauty (here). The sample contains quite some product so you can use this mask for around 3 times which is really great for trying out.

Here is the description of the product taken from Skinfood’s web page:
A total care nutrient mask that leaves the skin full of youth and vitality by managing the wrinkle, nutrient, resilience and moisturizing care through caviar and gold ingredients.

* To Use

Apply evenly onto the cheeks, chin, forehead and nose and massage in an outward motion starting from the center.
After 5~10 minutes of massaging, wipe away with tissue or rinse with lukewarm water.
The packaging of the sample sachet is very typical for Skinfood, with its vintage style colors and design. The full size product comes in a very nice jar with a golden lid. It looks really noble, as all products from the Gold Caviar Line appear to be.
The product has a heavy cream-gel texture with a gluey consistency. I didn’t like the scent of the Gold Caviar Nutrition Mask. It was a scent which reminded me of rancid oil or something similar. And since you have to massage the mask into your skin for quite a while the scent is rather obvious and annoying :/ Did anyone try this mask, too, and had the same experience with the scent?
After applying onto your skin and massage it, the sticky texture turns into oil and makes massaging really easy. This mask is indeed very nourishing. It is also very heavy in my eyes. I guess it is good for mature skin. I won’t recommend it for oily skin, but I think it will be great on people with really rough and dry spots. After washing my face with water it left the skin very soft.
Personally I won’t repurchase it, I guess my skin doesn’t need this kind of heavy nourishing skincare yet.
The full sized jar contains 90 g and costs US$ 32.72 at W2beauty. If you use my link or the sponsor code 088505 for registration at W2Beauty you’ll get a 5.00 $ voucher after registration and you can use it immediately for each purpose from US$ 30 onwards. So would pay around 28 US$ in total.

Review: Missha Flower Bouquet Cherry Blossom Fresh Cleansing Oil

4. July 2013
Hello ♥
Today I have another sample based review for you. I got a sample of Missha’s Flower Bouquet Cherry Blossom Fresh Cleansing Oil. I already reviewed the Cherry Blossom Cleansing Cream here. And I was (and still am) really in love with the scent, a refreshing and flowery scent of cherry blossoms. This sample of the Fresh Cleansing Oil was sent to me with my last order at W2Beauty (here) and I’m really happy to be able to try the cleansing oil of the Cherry Blossom line.

Here is the description from Missha’s page in New Zealand:
1. Concept
Refreshing Cleansing oil to remove heavy makeup perfectly and cleanly with pore care benefit
2. Descriptions
MISSHA Flower Bouquet Fresh Cleansing Oil Series
Perfect cleansing!
Washes away dirt and heavy makeup in one step
Effortless washing!
Rapid cleansing without leaving an oily residue
A fresh finish!

  • Perfect Cleansing

  • Fresh Finish
Provides a refreshing finish without leaving an oily residue or drying the skin

  • Effortless washing
Light cleansing oil with powerful hydrophilic properties quickly and easily removes dirt and makeup residue

* Each character of MISSHA Flower Bouquet Fresh Cleansing Oil
Pore Care
Cherry blossom and Azalea extracts nourish and exfoliate the skin while reducing the appearance of enlarged pores
4. Directions

1) Pump 2-3 times onto dry hands.
* After dispensing, wipe away any oil remaining on the pump head to allow for easy use later.
2) Gently massage onto dry face for 30 seconds.
* In order to completely remove lip and eye makeup, take extra care to gently massage the delicate lip and eye areas.
3) Dampen your fingers and gently massage until oil and water emulsify and appear milky-white.
4) Rinse face with lukewarm water to wash away dirt and makeup residue.
* There is no need to cleanse again, but if you have extremely oily skin then rinse again with Flower Bouquet Cleansing Foam.
The packaging of the sample has cherry blossoms printed on, like the full sized products of that line. I like the packaging a lot, because it’s simple but cute on the same time. ♥
The product itself is a clear oil. It has to be applied on the dry skin for cleansing and massaged in a while. The make-up already starts to dissolve in this step. Then you can wet your hands and continue massaging. The oil starts getting milky when combined with water. The make-up is fully dissolved after this step. Now you can rinse of the cleanser and your skin will be left clean and smooth.
This cleanser is really nice. It removed all the make-up I applied and it didn’t make my skin feel dry after cleansing. Since I have dry skin some good cleansers which are able to remove all make-up thoroughly are simply too drying. I didn’t have that feeling this time. Also, it didn’t leave my face oily at all. I will buy the full sized product probably as soon as my cleansing cream is empty and I can recommend this product for people with dry to normal skin. Missha states in their product description, that people with oily face should use the foam cleanser afterwards. I don’t know how effective this will be, since I don’t have oily skin.
The full size contains 150 ml and costs US$ 22.23 at W2beauty. If you use my link or the sponsor code 088505 for registration at W2Beauty you’ll get a 5.00 $ voucher after registration and you can use it immediately for each purpose from US$ 30 onwards.

Review: Aritaum Wannabe Cushion Tint Clair and Summer

30. June 2013
Hey everybody ♥
If you follow me on instagram you might have seen already that I’m up to some new reviews these days. I’ll start of today with the brand Aritaum and their Wannabe Cushion Tints. I just bought myself two of these: one of them is called “Clair” and is a lip concealer, the other one is called “Summer” and is a bright red-orange color.
Aritaum is part of Amore Pacific Group and I discovered it by reading the blog of Mizuchan (click here ♥). I was instantly curious about this lip product, partly because the packaging is really nice, too :D
The Cushion Tint is formed like a pen with two ends. One for the tint/ lip stain and one for the cushion. The packaging of each of the pens is different and they have written their names in golden letters on their caps.

You can use the cushion or sponge applicator in order to blend the lip tint and create a gradient effect on your lips. Below, you can see the swatches for the lip concealer “Clair” and the shade “Summer”, on the right side I blended the red color out with help of the provided cushion.
And here I’ll show you how both products look on my lips. I applied lightly the lip concealer first. Then I added the red color and blended it outwards to create a gradiation effect.
As you can see, I didn’t overdo the color on my lips, because I wanted to create a smooth and natural look and it is really easy to achieve with this pens. I never tried to create a gradiation effect on lips before, but I was really surprised how simple it was. Also, the texture of Aritaum’s Cushion Tints is very light and smooth. It feels nice while wearing. And they have a nice sweet scent, a bit like vanilla and candy mixed together. I would recommend not to overdo the lip concealer if you have dry lips, because it will just look terrible, when it settles into the creases of your lips. Instead I tried only to dab the concealer lightly on my lips and it worked perfectly.
The staying power is as with all lip products good, as long as you don’t drink and eat to much. It still leaves a stain behind after all though.:)
I am completely happy with these two pens and with that product in general. I will totally be buying more of these. There are still 9 other colors to test, and I read that there will be new colors available, too (link).
You can find Aritaums Wannabe Cushion Tints
– on ebay for around 10 US$
– on twofacemall for15.50 US$
– on Testerkorea for 8,500 Won (~8,50 US$)

Review: Tonymoly Luminous Goddess Aura Beam + BB Cream

27. June 2013
I ordered a couple of samples of Tonymoly’s Luminous Goddess Aura Beam + BB Cream. Each sample sachet consists of two parts, one containing the primer, the other containing the BB cream. So it is a nice way to try both products.

Product description from Tonymoly:
The self-luminous BB Cream moisturizes the skin and maximizes the radiance of the skin.
+ Customized for your skin! Provide moisture and radiance to your skin.
+ Blemishes Cover! Provides firmness, smoothness and radiance to your skin.
+ Faithfully delivers the function of BB Cream.
Directions: Mix Goddess Aura Beam and BB Cream (or foundation) at a ratio of 1:2, and apply the mixture to the entire face in a gentle tapping motion. If you are only using BB Cream, apply an appropriate amount to the entire face, and gently pat your skin.
The full sized product comes in a white plastic tube with a pink cap. The sample uses the same colors: white and pink.
Tonymoly’s Luminous Goddess Aura Beam is a pink colored gel which contains very little glitter. It is very fine, so you won’t see real particles sparkling on your skin. It just gives your skin more radiance. Tonymoly’s Luminous Goddess Aura BB Cream is a beige colored BB cream. It comes only in one shade. The consistency is not too runny but comparable with Missha’s Perfect Cover BB cream (review here).
If you have a look at the Perfect Cover BB in shade 23 from Missha, you can see, that Tonymoly’s BB cream is a bit brighter than Missha’s. The scent of Tonymoly’s BB cream is floral, but not as strong as Missha’s scent. But coverage of Missha Perfect Cover is still better in my eyes. Also, Missha’s oil control seems to be better…
Below you can see a picture of me, wearing Tonymoly Luminous Goddess Aura Beam and BB cream:
Actually, I like Luminous Goddess Aura BB cream, because it feels nice on the skin if you wear it on its own. The downside is in my eyes Luminous Goddess Aura Beam. It is too sticky in my opinion. It gives your skin a great glow, but it fells like putting honey in your face…and afterwards my hair kept sticking to my face all the time :/
I would recommend to try the BB cream though. Just skip the Beam, instead I really can recommend Lioele’s Pearl Base if you want some additional radiance and glow. I reviewed it here.
You can buy the full size product (45g) at W2beauty for US$ 18.11. If you use my link or the sponsor code 088505 for registration at W2Beauty you’ll get a 5.00 $ voucher after registration. You can use the voucher immediately for purchases from $ 30 onwards. The BB cream comes at W2Beauty with a special gift: a Tonymoly hand mirror with cute cat ears. I put it already on my wish list :D

Review: Etude House Petit Darling Nails Matte No.1 Ceylon Tea Beige

26. June 2013
Hey ♥
Did you all save your favourite blogs from Google reader to another one? Don’t forget to do it until end of the month :) You can follow me on bloglovin’facebook or since recently on instagram :D Yeii!
Here is the last review for the products from my W2Beauty haul from last month: it’s Etude House’s Petit Darling Nails Matte Nail Polish. (I will review the samples from this haul, too, but I don’t know when…:D). You can have a look at the haul here and the reviews for Etude House Kissful Tint Choux in Tangerine and Skinfood’ s Vita Water Drop CC Cream are here and here :)
The Etude House Petit Darling Nails Matte are available in 11 different colors. I ordered No1 called Ceylon Tea Beige. at W2Beauty you can order 6 of the 11 colors.
As the name of these polishes says, they’re supposed to have a matte appearance after applied on the nails. I was really curious about the outcome, because I always wanted to have a matte nail polish. Ceylon Tea Beige is a beige/flesh colored shade. The brush is small and thin, but the application of the nail polish works great with it.
One thick coat of the nail polish results in a good color and nice matte effect, but partly the white of your nails still is visible. With two thinner coats you get a more opaque result. Nevertheless, I  discovered that if you put the second layer after some hours onto the first, it may be, that you loose the matte effect. You’ll loose it anyways after a day which is a little bit sad ;_; Of course it doesn’t mean, that they look suddenly as shiny as normal nail polish, but they simply shine more…perhaps the use of hand cream and touching fatty things is also contributing to that effect, which is logical somehow…
Nevertheless, I like this nail polish, the color is very natural/ nude and it dries fast, too. I’d which they would offer the other colors at W2Beauty because I’d like to try some of the other brownish shades :)
Each bottle costs US$ 3.63 at W2beauty. If you use my link or the sponsor code 088505 for registration at W2Beauty you’ll get a 5.00 $ voucher after registration. The other products I mentioned above are available there, too. You can use the voucher immediately for purchases from $ 30 onwards.

Review: Nature Republic Photoshot 3D Mousse BB No.2

23. June 2013
Hello there ♥
This time I’ll do a product review for a full-size product again. After all the samples I used up recently :D But I still have a bunch of samples left, don’t worry :D
I’ll review Nature Republic’s Photoshot 3D Mousse BB in shade No. 02. I guess, it is my first Nature Republic review, isn’t it?!:D
Description taken from nature republic‘s web page:
Concept:
-Photoshot 3D make-up line designs to cover skin imperfections flawlessly while remaining invisible on photoshots and in real life
-the perfect finish for use with photo-gel, so you look great on film or television and in your photos!
Age Target/Skin type/Coverage: mid20’s-mid30’s/All skin types/ medium to full coverage
When & how to use: apply directly on skin after skin care.small quantity is sufficient to make up the whole face.
main ingredients & benefits:
1. MD101 Polynesia Lagoon Water
2. rose extract

Functions:
– weightless mousse type BB has good application and excellent adherence on skin
– it fills in pores and bumpy skins to make up look
– SPF 30 PA++
– Sales point: this base make-up suits for humid hot weather (who doesn’t like heavy make-up during summer time)
– apllication tip: for best results, use with a puff.may use for body make-up as well
– two colors

Nature Republic’s Photoshot 3D Mousse BB comes in a package with a lot of description and information about the product. The text is in English and Korean.
Shade No. 02 is the darker shade they provide. It comes in tin with a pump dispenser. The pump is protected by a clear plastic cap. This is a bit of a disadvantage, but I’ll will explain later.
The packaging is purple colored and looks simple and not special at all. If you push the pump the BB cream comes out of the dispenser in form of a fine foam. Now here is the problem: If you push too much you’ll get A LOT of foam. It is basically impossible to use it all for one face only. Therefore you have to push only a little. Also, a lot of product stays on the dispenser opening and some additional foam is created afterwards still. That means if you put on the cap directly after usage, this foam will mess up all the cap from the interior, and since it is a clear plastic cap, it is visible, too! Not too nice :/
The BB cream itself is very light due to the foamy texture. It is easy to apply and to blend with the skin. I would say coverage is not medium to full, but sheer to medium. It is buildable to a degree. If you put too much it will settle into fine lines. I didn’t like the smell either. I expected a scent of roses, but it was another scent which I can’t describe. I just didn’t like it. Nevertheless the scent is not a big deal, since it wears off pretty fast.
Generally this is a nice BB cream with an interesting texture. I never had a foamy BB creme before. It is really light and performs nicely on the skin, if you don’t have the need for high coverage. I guess it is really a nice BB cream if you live somewhere with humid weather. It has a good SPF, too. Also, I applied it with my hands, thus I don’t know if it is more buildable by using a puff.
The product costs US$ 16.75 at W2Beauty. If you use my link or the sponsor code 088505 for registration at W2Beauty you’ll get a 5.00 $ voucher after registration. You can use this voucher immediately for minimum order of US$ 30. But they have such a variety of products, that it becomes much to easy to spend that money, haha.

20. June 2013
Hey there ♥
This will be a short review based on a sample of Lioele’s Blooming Shimmer Pearl Base. Again, I got this product with my Keautybox Sample Kit of May (here). Normally, I’m a base skipper in my daily make-up routine. Mostly because I don’t have enough time in the mornings ^_^”’ I hope you don’t get bothered or bored with all those sample reviews the last days, but I promise the next one(s) are full sized products again :D
Here is the description taken from Keautystore:
Lioele Blooming Shimmer Pearl Base (pink)

2. Skin care makeup base that keeps skin moist by maintaining the water balance through naturally moisturizing amino acid derivatives and other various moisturizing agents
3. Transforms skin tone from sordid to brilliant, and gives definition to the face to make it lustrous and seem smaller.

Main Ingredients:Squalane, Sodium Hyaluronate, Betaine
Color Feature
1. Pearl makeup base to express a lustrous look, without any stickiness
2. Transforms a simple face to a more defined one, maintaining water balance at the same time
Ingredients: Water, Cyclomethicone, Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Butylene Glycol Dipropylene Glycol, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer Betaine, Isononyl Isononanoate, Dimethicone, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Magnesium Sulfate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Syntheic Fluorphlogopite, Palmitic Acid, Methylparaben, Chlorphenesin, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Tocopheryl Acetate, Squalane, Carmine Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Sodium Hyaluronate, Fragrance
The sample sachet looks very simple with the colors typical for Lioele: white and pink. Also the little carriage is shown on the sample :D The content of the sachet is a pink cream with pearly shimmer. The consistency is not runny but pleasantly creamy. If feels very soft after applying and leaves a pearly shimmer, which is not glittery. I don’t like glitter in products, but this one was really nice and made the skin look more radiant/glowing. Although I’m a base and primer skipper, I liked this one. It didn’t look artificially and too glittery but provided a nice glow on the skin.
The full size tube contains 35 ml and costs US$ 20.40 (here), there is a miniature tube available containing 5 ml for US$ 4.80 (here). If you decide to buy something at Keautystore I can offer you a 5 % coupon code that they provided me. So if you plan to order at their store you can put my email address in the “referred email” box (which would make me very happy ^_^) and use coupon code listed below:

Review: Tony Moly Floria Flower Energy Foam Cleanser

20. June 2013
I ordered on KoCoMall a while ago (see haul here) and they gave me really a lot of samples. Tony Moly’s Floria Flower Energy Foam Cleanser was one of the products I tested already (I’m trying to use a lot of samples at the moment in order to make room for new stuff XD).

Here is Tony Moly’s description:
Youthfully radiant skin & Blooming baby-face made by time reversing secrete potion of Floria.
14 kinds of flower extract- strong anti-oxide and skin improvement effect Hibiscus solution
Evening Primrose oil Botanical moisturizing ingredient prevents dry face, keeps skin moist and soft after washing.

How to use
Push out adequate amount of Floria Flower Energy Foam and make rich foam. Cleanse face gently like massaging and rinse face with tepid water.

The sample sachet has the shape like the full size product: A simple tube with a flower printing at the front.
The cleanser has a creamy consistency with pearly shimmer. The color of the cleanser is light purple- pinkish. I hope you can see it on the picture above. It creates a nice foam which feels nice and soft. The cleaning works great, it removes everything perfectly, but struggles with waterproof eyeliner like most cleansers. But after some scrubbing it removes actually everything. The skin feels squeaky clean afterwards. Actually, it is a bit drying. Also it stings if you get some product into your eyes…so better avoid it. On the other hand, my face looked brighter after usage. I really liked the foam and the cleansing effect of Tony Moly’s Floria Flower Energy Foam Cleanser.
The full size product contains 150 ml and costs around US$ 15. I couldn’t find it in KoCoMalls shop. But it costs US$ 14.99 at cosmetic-love and US$ 13.27 at W2Beauty. If you use my link or the sponsor code 088505 for registration at W2Beauty you’ll get a 5.00 $ voucher after registration. You can use this voucher immediately for minimum order of US$ 30. But they have such a variety of products, that it becomes much to easy to spend that money, haha.

Lioele C.A.D Oxygen Pore Lotion is a special treatment that provides an abundant amount of oxygen and moisture to your skin. Absorbs deeply and promptly for pore tightening with soft and provides skin with a soft and silky texture . Aquaporins and oxygen carrier ingredients help to control pores and remove dead skin cells. Amino acid complex together with natural moisturizing factor (NMF) provides great skin hydration and leaves skin soft and smooth.
Benefits: Moisturizes, Pore Control, Removes Dead Skin Cells, Softens, Reduces Skin Trouble, Hydrates, Smoothes
How to Use
1. Used after applying skin toner.
2. Apply appropriate amount of lotion all over face.
3. Gently tap skin with fingertips to help absorb.
INGREDIENTS: Water, Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, PEG60Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Portulca Oleracea Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Lysine, Histidine, Arginine, Aspertic Acid, Threonine, Serine, Glutamic Acid, Proline, Glycine, Alanine, Valine, Methionine, Isoleucine, Leucine Tyrosine, Cysteine, Phenylalanine, Betaine, Phenoxyethanol, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Fomes Officinalis (Mushroom) Extract, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Methyl Perfluoroisobutyl Ether, Ethyl Perfluorobutyl Ether, Acetyl Hexapeptide-37, Fragrance, Blue 1 (Cl 42090)
This Lioele C.A.D Oxygen Miniature Set comes in two small bottles, one for the toner and one for the lotion. The small bottles are very solid and have a simple design in light blue. Unfortunately, the solid plastic is a problem for applying the emulsion, since it hardly comes out of the bottle. You have either to put this bottle upside down and wait or you take a small spatula or something similar and take it out this way.
Below, I will show you a picture of the toner:
The toner absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave you skin sticky. It cleans residual makeup quite good and makes you feel refreshed. But, since it contains alcohol it feels drying on my dry skin.
The emulsion can be used after the toner and it should provide moisture to your skin. Below you can see the milky lotion:
The emulsion leaves a little bit of a sticky feeling after it absorbs, but the skin feels smooth afterwards. The scent of both products is pleasant and flowery.
Both products contain alcohol, so they’re not suited very much for people with dry skin like me. The lotion didn’t provide enough moisture for my skin, but I guess this product works better for oily skin.I won’t recommend this product for dry skin, but it may be better for people with oily skin.
