Review: Missha Cream Chocolate Latte Cleansing Foam

4. September 2013
Hey ♥
Here is a review for Missha’s Cream Chocolate Latte Cleansing Foam. I knew I had to buy it, since it was cheap and claimed to be with chocolate scent. and I can tell you, that it smells so delicious!*_*
There are two more Cream Latte Cleansers, one with Green Tea Latte and one with Strawberry Latte. Honestly, I’d love to try all of them! I decided to buy the Chocolate cleanser in the end, because the description says, that it is moisturizing for dry skin.

Here is the product description taken from Missha’s web page:
Features:
Creamy chocolate latte flavour

1. Cleansing foam that contains chocolate latte that provides vitality and nutrition to the tired, dry skin.

2. The chocolate latte provides abundant nutrition which prevents skin aging and loss of vitality.

3. Soft, smooth lather like latte moisturizes the skin even after wash off

Ingredients:
– Contains 516mg of Chocolate latte

– Chocolate contains polyphenol that vitalizes the skin.

– Minerals, protein and daily fat moisturizes and soothes the dry skin.

how to use:
1.Take an appropriate amount on the hand
2.Apply over the face as if massaging
3.Wash off with lukewarm water
The product description on the tube is Korean only. The package design is simple but cute. I like the white tube with the ornaments and the little cup on the front. The foam cleanser comes in a tube, a pump would have been easier in application, but this is okay, too.
The product itself is a brown-shimmering, fluffy cream with turns into foam once you wash your face. This is a very mild cleanser and won’t remove heavy eye or lip make-up. Actually, you should not get this into your eyes because it stings as hell :D (I did….~_~)…apart from this, it feels and smells great. The scent is like hot chocolate, a mixture of milk and chocolate. ♥ The foam has a nice, soft texture. If you wash it off you feel how your skin was cleansed and it feels squeaky. If you dry your face it doesn’t feel squeaky anymore, but simply soft and clean and smooth. It does make my dry skin feel drier, but in a way moisturized. I really like to use this cleanser. Especially in the morning, when you don’t have a lot of make-up on your face. The scent is so heavenly, it makes me a feel happy and gives me a good start daily :)

The tube contains 172 mg and costs
– US$ 10.44 at W2Beauty (free shipping option)
– 3500 Won at testerkorea (shipping depends on weight)
– US$ 6-11 at ebay (plus shipping eventually)

This cleanser is also available in a set of three, if you want to try all of them ;)

Review: Missha Flower Bouquet Cherry Blossom Fresh Cleansing Oil

4. July 2013
Hello ♥
Today I have another sample based review for you. I got a sample of Missha’s Flower Bouquet Cherry Blossom Fresh Cleansing Oil. I already reviewed the Cherry Blossom Cleansing Cream here. And I was (and still am) really in love with the scent, a refreshing and flowery scent of cherry blossoms. This sample of the Fresh Cleansing Oil was sent to me with my last order at W2Beauty (here) and I’m really happy to be able to try the cleansing oil of the Cherry Blossom line.

Here is the description from Missha’s page in New Zealand:

4. Directions

1) Pump 2-3 times onto dry hands.
* After dispensing, wipe away any oil remaining on the pump head to allow for easy use later.
2) Gently massage onto dry face for 30 seconds.
* In order to completely remove lip and eye makeup, take extra care to gently massage the delicate lip and eye areas.
3) Dampen your fingers and gently massage until oil and water emulsify and appear milky-white.
4) Rinse face with lukewarm water to wash away dirt and makeup residue.
* There is no need to cleanse again, but if you have extremely oily skin then rinse again with Flower Bouquet Cleansing Foam.
The packaging of the sample has cherry blossoms printed on, like the full sized products of that line. I like the packaging a lot, because it’s simple but cute on the same time. ♥
The product itself is a clear oil. It has to be applied on the dry skin for cleansing and massaged in a while. The make-up already starts to dissolve in this step. Then you can wet your hands and continue massaging. The oil starts getting milky when combined with water. The make-up is fully dissolved after this step. Now you can rinse of the cleanser and your skin will be left clean and smooth.
This cleanser is really nice. It removed all the make-up I applied and it didn’t make my skin feel dry after cleansing. Since I have dry skin some good cleansers which are able to remove all make-up thoroughly are simply too drying. I didn’t have that feeling this time. Also, it didn’t leave my face oily at all. I will buy the full sized product probably as soon as my cleansing cream is empty and I can recommend this product for people with dry to normal skin. Missha states in their product description, that people with oily face should use the foam cleanser afterwards. I don’t know how effective this will be, since I don’t have oily skin.
The full size contains 150 ml and costs US$ 22.23 at W2beauty. If you use my link or the sponsor code 088505 for registration at W2Beauty you’ll get a 5.00 $ voucher after registration and you can use it immediately for each purpose from US$ 30 onwards.

Review: Etude House Baking Powder Cleansing Cream

9. May 2013
Hey there,
I will do another Etude House Review today :D This time it is the Baking Powder Cleansing Cream. I reviewed the Flower Bouquet Cleansing Cream of Missha previously, that’s why I will compare both creams as well.

Here is the product description from Etude House:

Description: Formulated with baking powder to gently exfoliate skin with cream texture and penetrate pores to absorb oil and residues for thorough cleanse.
Directions: Use hands to dispense cream. Apply cream to dry facial surface and massage until makeup is dissolved. Wipe off face with facial pad/tissues and wash with cleansing foam and water.
Okay, so this cleansing cream comes in a similar sturdy jar of the same size as the Missha Flower Bouquet Cleansing Cream. It does not come with any special packaging or anything cute like most of Etude House products, but in a clean-looking blue colored jar. Unfortunately, it didn’t have a spoon or spatula for taking out the cream like the Missha Cleansing Cream.
The packaging is similar of both, Missha and Etude House, but what about the cream itself. First the scent: Etude House’s Baking Powder Cleansing Cream has a lemon-y, fresh scent…similar to lemon cake or something. It is really pleasant and not intense. With Missha’s Cleansing Creams you have the choice between three flower scents. The one I have has the scent of cherry blossoms with I love a lot, but of course it depends on each persons taste.
The consistency of the Baking Powder Cleansing Cream differs from the Flower Bouquet Cleansing Cream. As you can see in the image below, the Baking Powder Cream has a thicker consistency than the Flower Bouquet Cream, which is kind lighter.

I wanted to compare the cleansing effect of both creams as well. I used some make-up (mascara, eyeliner and lip liner) on my arm and compared as you can see in the next image:

I observed that Etude House’s Baking Powder Cleansing Cream dissolved the make-up better than Missha’s Flower Bouquet Cleansing Cream. This might be due to the effect of baking powder…
But both creams are not perfect and washing your face with water (and using eye make-up remover) is recommended nevertheless.
Etude House Baking Powder Cleansing Cream contains 180 ml and costs US$ 13.81 at W2beauty, for example, which is less than the Missha Cleansing Cream. By the way, I discovered W2beauty just recently. I was e-mailing to the customer service and I got an answer quite quickly and it was really nice to talk to Alice from W2beauty :D I can only recommend to check out the web store. Also if you use my link or the sponsor code 088505 for registration you’ll get a 5.00 $ voucher after registration. That’s really great, isn’t it?

(I was not asked to do this advertisement for them, I really liked the customer service and the possibility to get discount…they also have a reward program to get discount, too :D)

Review: Missha Flower Bouquet Cherry Blossom Cleansing Cream

24. April 2013
Hey there ♥
Finally, I have a review for you again. It’s Missha’s Flower Bouquet Cherry Blossom Cleansing Cream. I ordered this item last year, and I used it quite a bit since then. There are 3 types of this cream available, each with a different flowery scent: There is Maylily, Iris and Cherry Blossom. There is also a Cleansing Foam and a Cleansing Oil for the same scents.
Here is the product description from cosmetic-love:

[How To Use]

2.Tissue off or wash off thoroughly with lukewarm water.
[Type]
1.Cherry Blossom
2.Maylily
3.Iris
[Capacity]
182ml
This was my first time using a cleansing cream. I bought it in first place because of the scent because I love the scent of cherry blossoms *_*. Originally I wanted to order the cleansing foam, but I thought “why not trying a cleansing cream after all?!” This is how I ended up with this lovely product.
First of all the packaging: It’s really a clean, nice packaging with it’s white jar and the blossoms on it give the additional cuteness to it. I was really in love with it when it arrived. It was packed in a clear plastic box with cherry blossoms on it, too!So adorable!♥ Unfortunately, I disposed it after a while, that’s why I can’t show you an image…but it was really sweet, believe me!
After opening the jar, you’ll be overwhelmed with the lovely scent of cherry blossoms, without having the feeling that it is an unnatural scent. It’s just a really nice scent! Again, this is not the right product for people who don’t like scents in their beauty and make-up products. Also, it comes in a jar and it’s really a lot product, so I bet it’ll be considered as unhygienic for some of you, but as with Missha’s Super Aqua Cream I reviewed earlier, this one comes also with a spatula.
Applying and using this cleanser is really easy: You just put this cream on your face. It’s not a rich cream, but it feels light and nice and I think it’s perfect for a pre-washing massage of the face. After this you can remove it by lukewarm water or by tissue. (I must admit, I didn’t try to only use a tissue afterwards on my face, I would not have the feeling of being clean without washing it with water.) Done! Your skin feels soft and clean, not greasy at all (again, I don’t now how the feeling will be on your face, if you only use a tissue to remove it. I tried on a small spot on my hand, it didn’t seem to be sticky or greasy) and the divine scent may refresh you additionally, if you like it. Also, it’s really a mild cleanser and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. It worked exactly the way it should work, removed my make-up, smells great, feels great, thumbs up!
At cosmetic-love you can buy it for US$19.05. For a cleanser it may be a lot for some of you, but I assure you: 182 ml is really a lot, snce you only need a cherry size amount of cream maximum. I didn’t use up a quarter of it yet…
