Top 10 Must-Try KBeauty Box | YesStyle

YesStyle is probably one of the most widely known retailers for fashion and beauty online, especially when you are looking for something from asia. They have a wide selection of KBeauty products and recently they have made a list of their Top 10 Must-Try KBeauty Products 2016. I had the chance to receive one of their beauty boxes containing their Top 10 products for testing and I would love to share my opinion with you on these products.

YesStyle is the first online retailer to globally distribute a wide range of fashion, beauty and lifestyle products from Asia. Apart from their selection of Korean beauty products you will also find Japanese and Taiwanese products in their selection. Let’s take a look at the products from their Top 10 Must-Try KBeauty Products, which were by the way packed in a beautiful pastel colored box:

The Top 10 products are very versatile and reaching from skincare to makeup products reaching from brands that are well-known and brands that have a name amongst kbeauty enthusiasts. The selected products are from Etude House, Tonymoly, Berrisom, Laneige, Tosowoong, Beauty People, and MacQueen. Below is a picture of all the 10 products from the selection:

In my past years of asian beauty product addiction I already tested quite a lot of products and surely some of the ones you will spot here have been in my stash and under testing previously. Still, since I want to keep you updated as good as possible, I will update and rewrite some of my old reviews of the products I tested in the past with new images and maybe also with a new impression. Bur first I want to share with you a quick first impression of all the 10 products.

I’ll try to keep the products thematically, so I will start with the skincare products, which can be categorized in the masks type.

Tonymoly I’m Real Sheet Mask

Of course a Top 10 KBeauty selection needs a sheet mask. YesStyle selected the Tonymoly I’m Real Sheet Masks as part of their favorites. I received the Tonymoly I’m Real Makgeolli Mask Sheet for Skin Purification. I reviewed these masks in the past and I loved the packaging design so much! I think I also tried the Makgeolli Mask back then, but I only reviewed the lemon and the avocado mask. The avocado mask was a real hit for me back then because it made my skin feel so nourished even on the next day. I’m hoping for a similar experience with the Makgeolli Sheet Mask, but I will let you know about the details.

Etude House Collagen Eye Patch

Apart from your face you also need to take special care for your under eye area. Eye patches are my life savers after a short night in the next morning. I really love my SNP Bird’s Nest Aqua Hydrogel Eye Patches. Now I had the chance to try the Etude House Collagen Eye Patches and also here I must say that it is such a nice feeling to have eye patches. These eye patches are not made from hydrogel in contrasts to the ones from SNP. There will be a full review in future, too.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

This sleeping mask is designed for your lips to make them feel super soft and hydrated the next morning. The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask has been on my wishlist for ages and so I’m super happy to be able to review this in more detail. I’m so curious myself, but I can already tell you that I heard so many positive things about this one.

Tosowoong Blackhead & Sebum Out Nose Pack

There are two kinds of people, those who love nose stripes and those who would never use them. I love them…at least occasionally! Also, my boyfriend always uses my nose stripes for himself. I can already say that he was impressed on how much stuff he got rid of with the Tosowoong Blackhead & Sebum Out Nose Pack. Since they are black you will see almost everything which comes off…sounds gross…and it is! But it works!

Beauty People 10 Seconds Auto Pencil Eyeliner

I received a light color for the Beauty People 10 Seconds Auto Pencil Liner and it is really pretty and versatile to use for highlighting the eyes. If I’m not mistaken I never reviewed any products from the brand Beauty People so it is time to do this as quickly as possible. Review will be upcoming :)

Etude House Color My Brow

The Etude House Color My Brow is a eyebrow coloring mascara and it was one of the early products that I bought from this Korean brand. Since then they have changed the size of the product (it is larger now) and I think they have slightly altered the packaging design, too. You can take a look at my old review >>here<< (apologies in advance for the bad and poorly written reviews back then). I want to rewrite this review and update it with the new version I received here.

Berrisom Oops My Lip Tint Pack

I already have two of the Berrisom Oops My Lip Tint Pack and now this and I can definitely say that this is one of my favorites, too! These peel of lip tints will stain your lips like hell and the color is really long-lasting. It is a bit time-consuming compared to a regular lip tint, because you have to apply it first on your lips, leave it to dry, and peel it off before you are ready, but I love them. MACQUEEN Creamy Lip Tint

The MACQUEEN Creamy Lip Tint comes in a super adorable tiny matte milkglass bottle which is so adorable at first sight already. I heard some good things about it and so I cannot wait to share swatches and my full review on this. The pink color looks lovely, too. Review upcoming.

Berrisom Oops Tint Cheek Cushion

The Berrisom Oops Tint Cheek Cushion has been on my wishlist aswell, especially since I’m so in love with the Oops My Lip Tint. I have a similar cushion type cheek product from Too Cool For School which I like a lot so I hope that this will be similar.

Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Cover & Bright Fit SPF30 PA++

The Etude House Precious Mineral BB Creams are probably one of the most known and used BB creams. My first BB cream was from Missha and I loved it so much that apart from samples I never had a full-sized tube of any Etude House Precious Mineral BB cream. The Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Cover & Bright Fit SPF30 PA++ is my first one now and I already used it a couple of times and liked it quite a bit. It has more a matte finish on my drier skin, but still does not make it appear flaky. It was nice to use a BB cream out of the tube after so much cushion bb cream craze. I will definitely write a full review for this one.

You will find almost everything here and I can confirm that some of these have already been within my favorites before, too. Review: Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack and Lip Tint Cleanser

At the end of last year I did a review for the Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack, a lip tint tattoo with plenty of popularity in Korea. I really enjoy using it, which made me decide to buy a second shade. There was a special promotion at this time, where you received a free Berrisom Lip Tint Cleanser with you purchase of the Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack, so I will review the Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack and Lip Tint Cleanser today. It will be a picture-heavy post, but you will see a comparison of the swatches of the shade I bought previously (No.3 “Sexy Red”) and the new shade I bought (No.8 “Virgin Red”).

Berrisom is one of the Korean brands available at Wishtrend. They are mostly known for the Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack I’m showing you here, but they offer some more products in the skincare range, too. The Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack (there was an old version called Berrisom Chu~ My Lip Tint Pack and now it is Oops~ My Lip Tint Pack) is available in 8 different shades. You can use these lip tint packs in order to give your lip a different tinted color. The packaging is designed with kissing lips all over. The color of each box is adjusted to the shade of the tint pack. The color I chose this time is called “Virgin Red” and is a real red color as opposed tob the cherry red color I bought last time. Apparently, there are some fake products from China on the market atm, but there are images on Wishtrend how to detect between the original and the fake product >>here<<.

The description on the cardboard box is in Korean, but you can look up a very detailled description in English on Wishtrend. There you will also find the ingredients of this lip tint pack, which are all safe according to COSDNA. Moreover, this product contains a lot of plant (fruit) extracts in order to give some care to your lips, too. This makes it a “mask function lip tint” according to the product description.

Below you can see the two tubes I own right now. On the left side you see No.3 “Sexy Red” and on the right No.8. “Virgin Red”. Both of them contain 15 g of lip tint pack. The new shade I bought has also the shelf life printed on the backside, which is 6 months after opening. Both have sealed caps, and as you can see I’ve used them already, which is why the seal is broken :D.

The applicator is made of plastic and with my last review I said that the application can be a bit tricky. As you can see below they have changed the applicator and made it thinner, which makes it easier to apply than before. Since it is a peel-off tint pack it is not too important to have precise outlines. For a gradiant lip tint look you’ll have to apply the product on the inner parts of your lips anyways. The lip tint pack has a jelly like constistency, which is a bit sticky (and it has to be), since you’ll have to peel it off afterwards.

The Berrisom Lip Tint Cleanser comes in the same tube packaging as the Berrisom My Lip Tint Packs. It has a white packaging color though.

Like the lip tint packs the cardboard packaging contains directions and description in Korean and in English. you can also read more about the cleanser on Wishtrend. Also here the ingredients are safe to use and can be looked up at COSDNA. The Berrisom Lip Tint Cleanser does not only clean your lips from the lip tint, but also contains scrub particles to exfoliate your lips and make them smooth again. Like the lip tint packs it contains 15 ml of product.

Now, let’s talk about the exciting part, namely the swatches: Below you can see the Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack in “Sexy Red” and “Virgin Red”. From the color of the pack itself you can already see the difference between the two shades. As advertised, “Sexy Red” is a cherry-toned red shade, whereas “Virgin Red” is a strawberry-toned red. After peeling the pack of you can see that both shades leave a visible stain on the back of my hand. And even more important, the shades look distinct. Below the two swatches I will show you the performance of the Berrisom Lip Tint Cleanser, which is a gel-like product with particles inside. When rubbing it over the swatches some of the particles agglomerate with the color of the tint. After rubbing for a while (it is suggested to scrub the lips 1-2 minutes with the cleanser), you can wipe of the product with a tissue or wash it of with water as you like. The image at the bottom shows the result and as you see, there are still some light traces of the lip stain on my hands. This describes how amazing the staying powder of the product is!

In order for the lip tint pack to work you have to apply a layer of the product on your lips. It doesn’t need to be too thick, just it has to cover your lips. Then, you’ll leave the pack to dry. As soon as the lip tint pack has dried you can peel off an edge and remove the rubber-like layer of the tint. Your lips will be stained from the pack in color you selected. Below, I will show you how the Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack in “Virgin Red” looks on my lips:

My verdict for this product is still the same as before: The Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack gives your lips a natural and yet visible color. The staying power of this stain is good, as long as you don’t eat do much oily and fatty food. It doesn’t transfer either. Keep in mind that the tint will look best on your lips, if you exfoliate your lips before, so your lips are not too dry or flaky. I didn’t have the feeling that the peeling off hurt my lips in any way. It is also best to start off with your upper lip, because it usually stains less than the lower lip. If you start with the upper lip and peel it off after the lower lip, too, it will have some more time to get stained. The only downside of this lip is, that it takes some time to dry, so it is not an easy to use product for a quick touch-up. You can select between 8 shades and you will find that they come with a free Berrisom SOS! My Lip Patch at the moment. Review: Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack

I’ve wanted to try the Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack the first time I saw it on Wishtrend. This lip tint pack dries to a rubbery layer on your lips and can be peeled off afterwards, leaving your lips tinted. This kind of lip tattoo is one of the trends in Korea during the past year. I read another review for the old version of this lip tint pack on Something Beautiful (it is written in Geman, though).

Berrisom is one of the Korean brands available at Wishtrend. They are mostly known for the Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack I’m showing you here, but they offers some more products in the skincare range, too. The Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack (there was an old version called Berrisom Chu~ My Lip Tint Pack and now it is Oops~ My Lip Tint Pack) is available in 8 different shades. You can use these lip tint packs in order to give your lip a different tinted color. The packaging is designed with kissing lips all over. Et voilá, your lips look natural and yet colored. The staying power of this stain is good, as long as you don’t eat anything. It doesn’t transfer either. Keep in mind that the tint will look best on your lips, if you exfoliate your lips before, so your lips are not too dry or flaky. I didn’t have the feeling that the peeling off hurt my lips in any way. It is also best to start off with your upper lip, because it usually stains less than the lower lip. If you start with the upper lip and peel it off after the lower lip, too, it will have some more time to get stained. The only downside of this lip is, that it takes some time to dry, so it is not an easy to use product for a quick touch-up. The good thing about the new version is, that you have 8 shades you can choose and the volume of the tube has been increased from 10 to 15 mg. You’ll get each tube for 13.95 US$ from Wishtrend. The lip tint cleanser retails for 9.90 US$ when bought alone and is an exfoliating lip scrub combined with a cleanser for lip products.
