Today’s review is about Holika Holika Jewel-light Waterproof Eyeliner No.07. With Etude House’s Play 101 pencil liners coming up now it may be interesting to have another set of good pencil liners in the back of your head, especially if you like pencil liners with glitter particles. I received this one in the Lunar New Year Giveaway by Tiffany, Misa and Maryangela (check out their blogs by clicking on their names!:D). Thanks again to all three of them for the nice products!♥

There are 16 shades available in total and each of them does contain shimmer/glitter. The pencils have a simple design, each of them in the color of the eyeliner, so you can grab easily your desired color. The pencils are made of soft plastic, which can be sharpened easily. The eyeliners don’t contain a sharpener themselves, but any usual sharpener works.

The eyeliner I received has a white shimmering color which is nice for highlightening. It is supposed to be smudge proof, waterproof and long lasting and it fulfills all these criteria as you can see in the image below. Only with rubbing and warm water together it starts to give in.
The ingredients don’t contain anything harmful, even hydrogenated castor oil, which may cause acne, is nothing to worry about, since you don’t use this product on your whole face (hopefully :D – it won’t look pretty).

Cyclomethicone, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Mica, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Polyethylene, Ceresin, Titanium Dioxide(Ci 77892), Silica, C12-15 Alkyl Ethylhexanoate, Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate, Hydrogenated Castor Oil

All in all there is nothing negative to say about this pencil eyeliner. It applies smoothly, it is pigmented and it is smudge- and waterproof. Even the price is good ;)

You can get these at:

Yes, it is almost invincable while rubbing XD It’s a good alternative if you are lokking for a waterproof and resistant eyeliner with shimmer. Thanks for commenting!

I’ve never tried one of this Holika eyeliners, but the Lioele glittering jewel eyeliners caught my attention since a few months, could they be similar?

    Regards!

I didn’t try the Lioele eyeliners but the Lioele products I tried so far were nice. If you should try any of them tell me how they worked on you :) Thanks for commenting!

Such a beautiful colour and it really doesn’t smudge or disappears with water.
    Lovely review!

this looks like it would be really nice for lining the lower water line or highlighting the inner corner of the eyes
the swatch kind of reminds me of NYX’s crystal silver liner, however i think i would prefer this more since the NYX liner has a brush application and it’s kinda hard to control : (
thanks a lot for your review!! ^_^

I didn’t try the NYX liner but I guess both are good for the lower water line. Thanks for reading and commenting! ♥

It’s a nice sparkle, isn’t it?! I love it, too. I’d be happy to know your opinion on these eyeliners if you will try them, too. Thanks for commenting! ♥

This seems perfect for the lower waterline! I use a different pearly liner for that occasionally but it usually wears off after a few hours. :P

I didn’t try it on the lower water line, only for the eyebags and the inner corner and it worked nicely. Thanks for reading, dear ♥
