Review: Geo Princess Mimi Sesame Grey Bambi Series ♥sponsored♥

24. December 2013
♥ Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you have some nice holidays ♥

My first pair of circle lenses were Geo Princess Mimi Apple Green (review >>here<<) and since then I was always very curious about the Geo Princess Mimi Sesame Grey (Bambi Series) lenses of this series and I’m happy that MapleLens send these lenses to me. The circle lens pattern is designed by Tsubasa Masuwaka, one of the most influential and popular Japanese teen models. She is also modelling in the advertise of those lenses and she looks gorgeous with all of the lenses.

As before, when I got lenses from MapleLens they arrived pretty fast via EMS. They were packed safely and came in a cute present box together with an animal lens case in shape of an elephant *_*

Here are the properties for the lenses:
Diameter : 15.0mm
Water Content : 42%
Base Curve : 8.7mm
Life Span : 1 Year Disposal
Design:
I like the design! The colors blend in nicely with my natural brown eye color. there are brown dots towards the center of the lenses which design a nice blending effect. I was happy with the design of the green ones, too, and these are the same.
Comfort:
Although I should wear toric lenses, I could wear this lenses for quite a while. After 3 hours I applied some eye drops and then it was no problem to wear them for another 4 hours. The diameter of the lenses was no problem at all, but I’m used to use contacts every day anyways.
Enlargement:
Enlargement is really huge! The thick black circle ring makes your eyes really big and dolly. If you apply some eye make-up it looks nice and not too much like an alien :D But if you want to use them without any make up they can easily look strange.
Shipping:
Super fast shipping thanks to EMS.♥
Below you can see how these lenses look on my eyes.
All in all these lenses are perfect if you want to create a dolly effect. Because of the black outward circle they do not look natural, but really like doll’s eyes. If you are looking for a huge enlargement I can recommend you to go for these. If you like natural lenses more, then I don’t think these are a good choice. I really like the color and the effect, but I don’t wear these lenses every day.
You can buy these lenses at MapleLens for US$ 20.90. Check out the facebook page, too: https://www.facebook.com/MapleLens

Pinky Paradise Haul and Review: Geo Princess Mimi Apple Green Bambi Series

13. June 2013
Hello ♥
I’m really excited about this post, because this is my first review on circle lenses. I was really struggling with my first circle lens order for a while. I couldn’t decide first where to buy, then I had a problem with finding lenses with the perfect prescription. Lenses are sold either without prescription or in steps of -0.25 starting from -0.50. Since one of my eyes needs -0.25 and the other -0.50, I decided after quite a bit of research to take take one with -0.00 prescription and the other with the correct -0.50. I was also worried because I have astigmatism, that I would not be able to wear them for any long time. The next point is the huge variety of circle lenses available online…it was really difficult to decide….°o°
Finally I made my mind and chose Geo Princess Mimi Apple Green (Bambi series). I purchased at www.pinkyparadise.com. When I made my purchase they were having a promotion to spend US$ 39 and get a Skin79 BB cream miniature for free. I decided to buy additionally Rohto Lycee Contact Eyedrops for contact lenses to be able to take part in their promotion. I heard good things about these eye drops and since I’m wearing contact lenses every day, I thought I’d give it a try (review soon).
So here is what I got:
As you can see they provided me with a cute animal lens case and an additional gift. I got a hair sheet for holding your bangs out of your face, which is very useful and I tried it already :D. In case you consider to buy anything from pinkyparadise you can just enter my promotional code berriesinthesnow and you’ll get a free cute animal lens case PLUS a mystery gift, too.
Back to my Geo Princess Mimi lenses ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿
The circle lens pattern is designed by Tsubasa Masuwaka, one of the most influential and popular Japanese teen models. She is also modelling in the advertise of those lenses. She looks really beautiful, doesn’t she *_*
Here are the properties for the lenses:
Diameter: 15.0mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.7mm
Type: 1 year disposal
I like the printing on the viles a lot. It is very girly and fits perfectly to the advertising with
Tsubasa Masuwaka.
The pattern is really nice with green and brown little color dots. And the typical black circle around the lens.
The free lens case I got has the shape of a pigs head and is really funny. The case itself is also quite good. If you close it tightly nothing spills, even if you throw it into your handbag :D

Now I will show you how the lenses look while I’m wearing them. I have brown eyes naturally by the way:

Design:
I like the design! The colors blend in nicely with my natural brown eye color. I like how they try to blend the green color by using little brown dots towards the inner of  the lens.
If you apply some eye make-up it looks nice and not too much like an alien :D
Shipping:
Shipping was a little problem, but this was not the fault of pinkyparadise. The package got stuck somewhere in Germany, then it was at the customs for quite a while, but after a long period of time and waiting and loosing hope it arrived here and I didn’t have to pay any taxes for it….lucky :D Since it was the fault of the German postal service I’ll give 5 berries nevertheless, because their processing of the order was quite fast, also their customer service was great and answered very fast to every request.
Overall, these are really nice lenses. I don’t regret buying them and I’m already browsing for other lenses which I would like to try. :D My final rating for these lenses are:
As I said, you can buy these lenses at www.pinkyparadise.com. If you use my coupon code berriesinthesnow
1. you get a FREE cute animal lens case PLUS mystery gift
2. the coupon code can be stacked, If you purchase 3 pairs, you will get 3 lens case plus 3 mystery gifts.
