Review: VIP Gold Super Plus BB Triple Function Cream

Earlier I posted swatches of Skin79 BB Cream Miniature Set and I realized that I actually never did the real reviews for those BB creams. I had enough time to try and empty the miniatures and I’ll start of with a review on the VIP Gold Super Plus BB Triple Function Cream.

Here is the product description and image from Skin79’s official web page:
BB CREAM THAT PRESENTS LUXURIOUS SKIN. Ingredients with an abundance of nutrition keep skin resilient and moist and its whitening and wrinkle fighting properties helps maintain clear and resilient skin, while giving the skin a natural and bright look.

And here is how my tube looks like if you use it up :D

The tube contained 5 g and could be tested thoroughly. The full size products comes with a pump, which is more convenient and hygienic. :)
The consistency of this BB cream is similar to Missha’s Perfect Cover cream. Below I will show the swatches of all BB creams in comparison:
This BB cream has a good coverage and is lighter than Misshas Perfect Cover in #23, but it adapts perfectly to my skin tone, nevertheless. It leaves you with a subtle glow. Although I think the glow might be stronger if you have oily skin. But for dry skin it works fine. It has a nice scent, too, which is not disturbing while you have the BB cream on your face.
All in all it is a nice BB cream comparable with Missha Perfect Cover. It doesn’t have different shades like Missha’s BB cream, in my case it fit optimally to my skin color.
You can currently buy the full size product at W2beauty for US$ 36.83. It contains 40 g and is provided with special gifts. Also, it comes with the mentioned pump dispenser. If you use my link or the sponsor code 088505 for registration at W2Beauty you’ll get a 5.00 $ voucher after registration. You can also have a look at ebay and other stores for the travel size or the miniature set.

  • I'm glad it worked for you! I've yet to find a Skin79 BB cream that's light enough for my skin/doesn't cake up on me. Nice review! :)

    • Thank you.I hope I'll find a holy grail bb cream sometime, too.Although this one and the Missha Perfect Cover do best until now I have the hope that there is still the possibility to find something which gives a wow-effect snd makes you not wanting to try anything else. Hehe...

    • Thanks a lot! Hope the Gold BB cream will work for you, too! Thanks for commenting :)

  • Hihi, just wondering--do you have a mixed background by any chance? Your skin color looks similar to mine and I'm always on the lookout for other beauty bloggers who have similar skin tone so I know who to look to when it comes to bb cream :)

    • I don't have mixed background, but my parents have rather different skintypes. My mother is really fair skinned, never getting a tan and my father tends to tan very easily. :D

  • Skin 79 gold, hot pink and diamond the prestige also look like same tone
i have tried hot pink and it's good for oily control

    • Skin79 Gold and Hot Pink are really similar, I gues the difference is only that the Gold one has some additional nourishing effects and is practically an improved version of the hot pink one. The tone of Diamond the Prestige is similar, but Diamond the Presige is more runny than Hot Pink and Gold and gives less coverage in my eyes. But I'll give a review for the others, too. :D
