Review and Mini Giveaway: Avène Thermal Spring Water

10. May 2013
Hello ♥
Today I’ll present the Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray. I wanted to wait for the end of the poll to make this review, but several people asked me to do this review, so I will do it. ingredients: Avène Thermal Spring Water (100%), Nitrogen (gas)
How to use: Spray onto the skin in a fine mist. Leave on for 2 to 3 minutes, then gently pat dry. Spray on as often as   necessary.
Avène Thermal Spring Water comes in a spray can in a very puristic design. Just white with clear black and orange font. Just typical for products you get in a pharmacy. The spray can is available in three sizes: 300 ml, 150 ml and 50 ml. I’ll review the travel sized 50 ml spray can.

It’s main ingredient (and practically only ingredient, since the nitrogen is a gas) is Avène Thermal Spring Water. There are no additional ingredients, it’s basically pure water. Nevertheless, it claims to me soothing and softening. And it is! If you spray it on your skin it has an instant cooling effect which is soothing on the one hand, especially if your skin is irritated. And products that have a cooling effect always make your skin feel smooth after application. I don’t think this is an effect staying permanently, probably it’s more due to the effect that you cool your skin first and then it gets warm again and blood circulation is enhanced…
The dispenser provides your skin with a fine mist of water, as you can see in the image above. I can imagine that it is perfect for hot summer days. Also, I can recommend to use it after waxing or hair removal, it cools down the irritated skin a lot. Also since it doesn’t contain any irritating ingredients or additives it is perfect for sensitive skin.
Okay, now as I said above, I have a second unopened 50 ml spray tin and I wanted to share it with you. So anybody interested can take part and try his/her luck. The Giveaway starts today and ends end of this month. It’s open internationally. Have fun!

I would use it to refresh my skin on a hot day and/or if I ever got sunburnt, which is very likely because of my pale complexion!

    Great giveaway! :)
