Review: Beautiful A.M. Moisturizer and P.M. Revitalizer and Giveaway

Winter is the season for extra moisture and care of your skin. Apart from the cream or gel type moisturizers, which are generally used in our skincare routine, it is also great to have some facial oils at hand. I’ve been trying Beautiful A.M. Moisturizer and P.M. Revitalizer from the company Trusted Health Products for more than a month now and finally it is time to give you a review on these two fcaial oils. Moreover, there will be a giveaway opened to my dear readers from US, Canada, England and Australia. Keep on reading for more information at the end of the post.

Trusted Health Products is a company dedicted to offer the “Purest and most Natural Products available anywhere in the world today”. Their products are GMO-free, 100% Pure & Natural, and have No Additives of any kind. Beautiful A.M. Moisturizer and P.M. Revitalizer is a dual facial oil combo from this company and it consists of a combination of live fruit, nut and plant extracts for feeding the skin. It claims thereby to promote a youthful, moist and beautiful glowing skin. It is not only recommended to dry skin, but also to oily or acneprone skin, since it says that it balances your natural skin condition. It has anti-aging properties, too, and should have a firming effect on the skin. Moreover it claims to reduce the appearance of pores and make your skin look smoother in general. The ingredients of Beautiful A.M. Moisturizer and P.M. Revitalizer are natural. The Beautiful A. M. Moisturizer used during the day contains 100% Pure Botanical oils of almond, orange, lemon, avocado and olive. The P.M. Revitalizer contains 100% Pure Botanical oils of almond, orange, lemon, evening primrose and apricot. all these oils have their specific benefits:

almond oil moisturizes, soothes and softens the skin, it relieves itching from dry skin and gives the complexion an appearance of improvement and glow.

orange oil cleanses the skin through natural anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and helps fighting acne and restores smooth appearance to skin.

lemon oil is a natural cleanser, preventative for wrinkling and aging. Significantly increases the anti-oxidative potential of the skin bio surface (to help stop damage to the skin).

avocado oil significantly increases the soluble collagen content in the skin to enrich dry, damaged, chapped or wounded skin. It is loaded with vitamins A, D and E.

olive oil works as cleanser and moisturizer. It has shown preventative effects for formation of skin cancer and tumors.

evening primrose oil contains nutrience which are essential for cell structure and improve the elasticity of the skin. There is evidence that it can help reduce wrinkles and even help repair stretch marks. It is also rich in omega 6 fatty acids.

apricot oil is light and gently moisturizes skin. It contains vitamins A and E, it soothes the skin and slows signs of aging as well as firming and toning.

From the ingredients it seems that these two bottles are packed with good stuff, which can be beneficial for your skin and skin condition. For application it is advised to use 2-3 drops on each cheek and spread the oil softly over your face. They also write that when you start to use these two oils it will affect like a detoxing on your skin. They also state that there might be breakouts during the first 30 days of usage, which will go away after a couple of days. Luckily, I didn’t experience any other breakouts than my normal occasional ones and my skin stayed in its good condition as before.

The two bottles don’t have the most fancy or beautiful design, they are just brown glass bottles, but as extra, they imprint your name on the labels of the bottles, which is a super cute idea and makes it much more personal. I love this idea :) The bottles have a normal screwing cap and a drop dispenser or dropper, so you can controll precisely how many drops you want to use. Unfortunatelly, it is not that easy going and you’ll have to give the bottle a shake in order to make the drops come out. I can say, that I never had the problem that I used too much oil, because the dispenser is a bit harder to use.

Although the bottles are so small they last you for quite a while, at least for two month, if not even more. I use both oils in my day and night skincare routine and I’m really happy about the moisturizing effect. First of all, the oils have both a nice orange scent, which is really relaxing. Both oils absorb fast and do not leave your skin greasy or sticky at all– although one might think that oils woul’d definitively make your skin look greasy. It is not the case. It absorbs quickly, makes the skin feel smooth and give it a natural moisturized glow. The scent will linger on your skin for some time, but it is not unpleasantly strong.

All in all, I can say that these two facial oils have replaced my normally used and loved moisturizing creams, but I still use toner, essence and serum ahead. The oils go well with that combined skincare routine, too. I recognised that the skin feels soft after application and has a nice glow. It also works fine when BB creams or foundation is applied afterwards. I’m positively surprised how much I like these oils and I will definitively continue to use facial oils in my skincare routine. Unboxing: MeMeBox NakedBox No. 24 All in One

My last MeMebox Unboxing is almost one month ago and it feels like ages, since so many new boxes have been announced and have been sold out in the mean time. MeMeBox keeps up with new topics and discount opportunities, that it is difficult to resist buying for me sometimes. Apart from their monthly Global Boxes like the ones I reviewed previously (check out the links at the end of the post), they also have a huge amount of themed boxes, Mini Boxes, Boxes where you know what is inside, so called Superboxes with a higher value and so on…just check out their online store and you’ll find a huge selection of different boxes. Since they have become very popular within the blogger community they sell out pretty fast, but they bring up new beauty boxes so fast, that you cannot keep up with them anyways. At the end of this post I will make a list of all the discounts they offer at the moment, too.

The main reason for me for buying this box was the Iope eye cream. Iope is a high end korean brand and I’ve never tried anything from that brand before. The box retailed for 23 US$ and the value of this product alone is worth this money definitively. The other reasons for me were the Shara Shara masks. I really do love the design of their products and these sheet masks look so adorable. I will definitively put up a review as soon as I’ve tried them. I also heard a good deal about The Skin House Face Calming Galactomyces cream and I needed a new moisturizer anyways. I’m also curious about the cleansing water because I didn’t try any cleansing waters yet. This box was definitively worth its money and even more, because I knew for which reasons I bought the box. Review: Rojukiss Multi Vita Cleansing Powder

Rojukiss Multi Vita Cleansing Powder is the first cleansing powder I tried and it was provided by Wishtrend. I ordered this mainly because I was curious about the cleansing powder, secondly, I like the idea that this cleanser contains vitamins, too, for a gentle scrub and removing of dead cells. Rojukiss is a Korean brand which main ideology are “human, nature and science”. They try to help the skin by using natural ingredients, which don’t harm our body. The Rojukiss Multi Vita Cleansing Powder aims at dead skin cell removal, skin brightening, skin elasticity, deep moisturizing, skin trouble prevention, and skin protection. The ingredients list is not too long and contains mostly green flagged ingredients (click >>here<<). It contains the enzyme Papain as exfoliator for your skin, which can be irritant for sensitive skin types. Papain can break down dead skin cells and makes your skin appear brighter and less dull by this way. As a natural exfoliator it doesn’t dry out the skin. As I mentioned above, this cleanser also contains 5 vitamins: C, E, B3, B5, B6.

The Rojukiss Multi Vita Cleansing Powder comes in a squeezable plastic bottle, with a cap. The etiquette is waterproof, and you can take the bottle into wet hands, without loosing the product name etc. The cleanser comes as a white powder and when lathering you create foam. It is not a very dense and fine foam, though. I find it a bit hard to get the powder out of the bottle and I need to pour a couple of times before I get the amount which is necessary to build up enough foam, but the cleanser smells lightly of fruits, like those multi vitamine drinks.

Although the cleanser doesn’t build up a lot of foam and I thought after first time use that it doesn’t have any cleansing power at all, I was convinced that i’m wrong after I did the underarm test. The Rojukiss Multi Vita Cleansing Powder removed almost everything, just leaving some light traces of make up which is designed to be removed by oil based cleanser anyways. I was really surprised about this :) Since the cleanser doesn’t leather up in huge amounts of foam, I didn’t have the feeling of having a dry skin after washing my face either.

I’ve ended up using Rojukiss Multi Vita Cleansing Powder mostly in the morning, because it feels light and smells refreshingly fruity. I have to point out, that the powder form this cleanser has is super for travelling- no spilling of liquids in your bag etc. If you like cleansers with only little foam you will love this even more, especially people with dry skin might like this, because it doesn’t fill stripping on the skin. The only downside is the cap, which i would remove, because it sometimes can be hard to get the powder out..on the other hand, I cannot think of a better or another solution for the bottle. I never tried any of these but I would like to know if thewy make any difference…I cannot image how it should work exactly…it contains caffeine, which reduces the puffiness, and also some other oils.

2. LG Health Care Slim Fit Sparkling Shot (14x7g – 24US$) – fullsize product

This is a sparkling podwer for water and it tastes like multi vitamin drinks. I try to drink one each day, as recommended, but I forget sometimes…the description says it is not effective if you don’t exercise in parallel…so I don’T think this will make any big changes.

3. Dermahouse Lifting Shape Up Hot Gel (200ml – 34 US$) – fullsize product

I was super happy about this product, and I was secretly hoping for something like this, since I saw a similar gel from Missha and was very curious about how it applies…and I really like this, because it really gets warm when applied. I use the included Massage Roller to apply it! This gel also contains caffeine, coffee extracts, hot pepper extracts, mate tea leaf extracts etc…

4. STC Massage Roller (1 piece x 6 US$) – fullsize product

Love using this ♥ As I said, I use it together with the Lifting Shape Up Gel.

5. SXM I Value Body Amoule (7 ml – 5 US$) – fullsize product

I didn’t use this yet, but this ampoule should be applied on the desired areas of your body and contains a couple of fancy ingredients with are supposed to break down cellulites.

6. Ferderma Egyptian Diet Soap (200g – 18US$) – fullsize product

I love the packaging of this soap, since I’m a lover of ancient egyptian arts. This soap has a fresh and minty scent like toothpaste and the scent filled the whole box when I opened it. I cut the soap into two hals and I’m currently using it. Other than I expected, it doesn’t melt away quickly (that’s why I cut it in halfs), and it is cooling on the skin. The scent is refreshing and it is a nice soap with great ingredients…if this helps you with your diet is not sure though.

7. KepaClub Frozen Body Ggong Ggong Gel (100g x 16US$) – fullsize product

This gel is supposed to be kept in the freezer. The gel shoulkd break down white body fat and prevent the brown body fat from growing. I put the gel into the freezer, but I didn’T use it until now, because the idea of putting something cool on my skin at the moment (the weather is getting cooler, too) doesn’t please me at all! Nevertheless, I will tell you guys about my experience :D

All in all, a nice box with all fullsize product. There are some items I really like, like the hot gel and the roller, as well as the diet soap. The others have to be tested yet. The box holöd up to my expectations of a “diet box” all together. What do you think? Any items you would love to try?

Review: Tunemakers Original Moisture Lotion

I introduced the online shop Beautystar in my previous review about Relevance Highlighter Tip and today I will review another item which was provided to me for reviewing purpose, the Tunemakers Original Moisture Lotion. Beautystar is an online shop selling Japanese skincare and cosmetic products which are harder to find in other online shops. Apart from the lotion (Japanese lotion is the adequate to Korean toner or skin) I received a serum with I will review separately in future.

Tunemakers is a Japanese brand, which seems to be featured in a lot of Japanese magazines…unfortunately the brands site is in Japanese only, but according to Beautystar’s describtion, Tunemakers was born through the wish of a lot of people for skincare products which contain ingredients which are part of the skin. I think this means, the use of raw ingredients in a good concentration to be absorbed by the skin and yet have the best possible effect.

The Tunemakers Original Moisture Lotion is a simple waterbased lotion containing ceramide, hyaluronic acid, honey, collagenand royal jelly extract in a ratio of 5:3.5:2:1:1. Water with a weak acidity builds the basis of this mixture. Ceramide is one of the main lipid components of the skin. The content of ceramide declines with age, so ceramide is a skin-identical component and is supposed to help the skin regenerating or balancing the decrease in ceramides. Collagen is also one of these components which occur naturally in our body and thus in our skin. The amount of collagen declines with our age, too. Ceramides and collangens in cosmetics won’t probably affect our skin in a way, that we start building more collagen and/or ceramides in our skin, however, collagen binds moisture and thus does it help to prevent our skin to dry, when applied on our skin. The same for ceramide, which, as a lipid keeps the right amount of fatty acids on our skin. Hyaluronic acid binds moisture aswell and thus helps the skin to stay moisturized, too. Honey and royal jelly extract are both natural ingredients. Honey is one of the ingredients with the oldest history for beauty uses. Both these ingredients contain vitamins, aminoacids and have anti-inflammatory and also antioxidant effects.

The full ingredient list is supprisingly short: water, glycerin, 1,2 – hexanediol, sphingoglycolipids of rice bran , hyaluronic acid Na, honey,water-soluble collagen, hydrolyzed royal jelly extract, licorice root extract, ascorbyl phosphate Mg, lysolecithin, hydrogenated lecithin, BG, xanthan gum, apple acid Na, malic acid, citric acid, citric acid Na, phenoxyethanol. Thant’s it! According to COSDNA almost all the ingredients are green flagged. No fragrance, no coloring, no mineral oil, petroleum based surfactant-free, paraben-free,and alcohol- free. I guess this should be suited to people with sensitive skin, too.

The product itself comes in a brown colored glass bottle. It is real glass, so you have to be careful while using it. Other than this, the bottle looks like a vintage medicine bottle, with a simple ettiquette and all in Japanese. The opening has a drip function, so you won’t spill too much lotion on your hands. I usually apply these moisturising toners/lotion with my hands, directly after washing my face. It has the same consistency like water, it has no scent and feels very light. After applying it absorbs really quickly into the skin and leaves my skin very soft and hydrated.

Apart from the fact that it is a glass bottle, this lotion/toner has nothing I would complain about. It has a short ingredient list, feels like water, but makes the skin feel hydrated. I didn’t have any skin irritations while using it and I’m using it every day since two weeks now :) You can get this from Beautystar for US$ 19.50 and I’m sure, that there will be quite some of you, who will share my opinion.

Review: Etude House I Need You Heart Sheet Mask

I know that sheet mask reviews are not the most exciting reviews, honestly, but I simply couldn’t pass on reviewing this adorable Etude House I Need You Heart Sheet Mask ♥ I recieved it as a gift with my last W2Beauty haul some of you might have seen on my Instagram. Actually, this sheet mask is part of the Etude House I Need You A-Z Sheet Masks and is labelled as “free gift” on the packaging.

Etude House is one of the best known Korean brands for cute packaging. If you are a lover of cute, girly and pink packaging, reminding you of being a child and the princess you always dreamt to be, THIS is your brand. Their packaging is usually so adoreable that you cannot keep yourself from impuls-buys – only because you saw the packaging (I also could not resist to order from their newest princess collection ~_~ ♥ ). Let’s go back to this sheet mask, which is, as I said, part of the I Need You A-Z sheet mask collection. The design of all the sheet masks from this line is lovely and designed with each letter of the alphabet. The Heart sheet mask here, is the only one with a pink heart on it. It has a 5 Berry Complex, which means it contains the extracts of 5 berries: blueberry, acai berry, rasberry, blackberry,and strawberry. Berries contain lots of antioxidants and vitamins and thus are beneficial for the skin.

If we have a closer look to the back side of the packaging, you can see, that the upper part is written in Korean, displaying also images of how to apply the sheet mask. The lower part is written in English. The ingredients are mainly green and yellow flagged according to COSDNA. The sheet mask itself has a berry-like fruity scent which is really nice. Since the cotton sheet is soaked well with the essence, it feels cooling and moisturizing while application. It is a nice and quick way to refresh your face inbetween, as all sheet masks are, and give it a final boost. I loved using this mask, although it doesn’t claim to have any additional benefits, it does what a sheet mask primarily is supposed to do: it gives your skin some extra hydration!

Unboxing: MeMeBox My Cute Wishlist

When MeMeBox released their first box named with the words “My Cute Wishlist” I knew that I have to get this box, despite the fact that I was planning to use up my current products first before buying new ones :D I was so happy about receiving this MeMeBox and I want to share my excitement about unboxing this box with you ♥ Let’s take a look inside this awesome box:

The MeMeBox My Cute Wishlist contains a selection of cute products with a beautiful or special packaging. The description of the box says:

“We’ve searched and scoured through the Korean beauty scene to find you all the beauty things adorbs and irresistibly cute! From miniature beauty trinkets to cute face makeup kits and skin care potions, these precious little beauty finds will make you “oooh” because of its trademark Korean charming packaging and “aaahh” because of how cute it makes you look. Carry around these beauty treasures wherever you go and make your friends green with jealousy!”

When I fell in love with asian makeup and skincare products it was mainly because of the beautiful and very girly packaging compared to western brands. This box is perfect for everybody feeling the same or having the same reason to buy products. The first thing I saw when opening the box was the product card with the description of the products inside (in English) and a sqeaking sound of joy when seeing the content:

Here is the content of MeMeBox My Cute Wishlist and it is a lovely content:

1. Pure Smile Neko Punch Point Pad Hibiscus & Lemon Grass (17 ml x 2) – box contains fullsize product worth 2 US$ each

These are moisturizing and sebum controlling pads enriched with a bunch of beneficial ingredients like hyaloronic acid, vitamin E, Collagen etc. You just put them on the areas of your face which need some extra care and leave it for a couple of minutes. I didn’t try these yet but I can imagine that it looks cute having some cat paws on your face :D

2. Pure Smile Muddy Girl (15 g) – box contains fullsize product worth 1 US$

This is a wash off type pack from mud and clay to smooth and purify your skin. It is in a heartshaped packaging and looks nice, but I didn’t try it. there were two different types which were randomly chosen for each box.

3. Beauty People Snow White Special Edition Season 2 (1.6 g x 5) – box contains fullsize product worth 54 US$

A adorable metal box conatining 5 creamtype eyeliner pencils. Each of the pencils is worth around 10 Us$ if you divide the the price among the five pencils. The color range is beautiful, because it is black, brown and gold and they contain some glitterparticles. The swatches I took were pretty long lasting despite washing my hands, so I’m looking forward to make a seperate review for this box. They also added a sharpener for the eyeliner pencils :)

4. Etude House Missing U Hand Cream (30 ml) – box contains fullsize product worth 5 US$

Finally, an Etude House product ♥ But if not in this box, where should it have been else?! :D The boxes contain randomly one of these four adorable hand creams. I received a pink dolphin with rose scented hand cream. since I love rose scent, this is exactly the perfect choice for me. There is a seal, a penguin and a panda, too. I would love to have all of these, just because of the packaging…and I would definitively reuse the packaging and transferr new handcream inside, if this one is empty :D ♥

5. Etude House Sweet Recipe Candy Stick (2 g) – box contained fullsize product worth 5 US$

These sweet lip balm remin me of christmas because of the sugar cane shape. The boxes contain one of three different versions. I received the “Oh! Orange Candy”. It has a orange scent and taste and feels like a good every day lip balm. It has a soft tint, too.

6. Kocostar Split End Therapy (8 ml) – box contained fullsize product worth 6 US$

This is a leave-in hair treatment and it has included a dotted ribbon for tying your hair, which makes it a worthy product for this box. I will review this item, too :)

7., 8., and 9. a;t fox Whitening Capsule Cream. Lifting Cream and and Moisturizing Gel Cream (10 ml x 3) – box contained fullsize product worth 6 Us$ each

These are my favourites of the box, apart from the Etude House handcream. The three mini creams have cupcake shaped containers, each in another color. Each of these is themed with another kind of tea and has a special purpose. I cannot wait to try these and I could imagine that these are great for travelling, too.

I’m really happy about this box because it fulfills all my expectations. All the products are fullsized, which is great, and there is a nice variation in products, too. The packaging of the products is adorable and I love the Etude House Missing U hand cream and the cupcake shaped creams. The colors of the pencil eyeliners is beautiful, too. I’m really happy and I do not regret that I broke my ban and bought this box.
