Review: 3CE Eye Shadow Palette Up Close

20. December 2015

After Stylenanda 3CE released new lip color palettes there are now also three new 3CE Eye Shadow Palettes available. These eye shadow palettes contain each 4 shimmery and harmonious colors, which can be used to create different looks depending on which colors you combine and depending on your mood.

3CE Eye Shadow Palette

3CE stands for 3 Concept Eyes and was launched in 2009 as a cosmetic brand by Stylenanda. The packaging of the products is similar to MAC cosmetics and mainly black with the triangular logo displayed on the product. Although very simple I think that this kind of packaging looks somehow very trendy. The price of Stylenanda’s 3CE lies in the mid region, but it is more expensive than Etude House for example. The 3CE Eye Shadow Palettes are available in four different color ranges! I’m showing you “Up Close”, which has a range of pink hues and tones perfect to create a feminine and lovely look.

3CE Eye Shadow Palette

The shimmery colors come in a black, rectangular container with a see-through lid. The palette doesn’t come with a brush or applicator on its own, but you have to use you own brushes. Nevertheless, the performance of this small palette is worth it.

3CE Eye Shadow Palette

The 3CE Eye Shadow Palette applies very softly and the single eyeshadows have a sliding touch texture with an elegant and clean finish. The colors are really pigmented and perfectly adhere on your eyes. The palette consists of 4 colors called “Twinkle Pink”, a light pink shimmery base color, “Indie Pink”, a beige based pink eyeshadow, “Reddish Brown”, a rusty brown shade, and “Vintage Burgundy”, a burgundy shade with a hint of pink shimmers. You can use them together or separately.

3CE Eye Shadow Palette

Even when only using fingers the colors are clearly visible and have a beautiful sheen and deep pigmentation. Below you can see how the colors look swatched on my arm and used on my eyes. It will create some fall-off when used, but the colors and the longlivity are definitively worth the fall-out.

3CE Eye Shadow Palette

I love the colors of this palette ad they are perfect for the season and upcoming Christmas parties and events.

3CE Eye Shadow Palette

Despite the fall-out this palette is great! Beautiful colors, long lasting and pigmented! The new 3CE Eye Shadow Palettes retail for 32000 Won on the official Stylenanda page, which makes around 32 US$. What do you think of these new eyeshadow palettes by Stylenanda?

The Blush Addict Tag

16. September 2015

I would never have considered myself as a blush addict since I have way more lip products than blushes, but after being nominated by KimKine (please do check out her wonderful blog!) I discovered that I have a bunch of blushes and for people with only one or two this might already be considered as an addict. Hopefully, you will enjoy my collection of blushes, although most of them are no high-end blushes and most shades are similar :’D

The Blush Addict Tag

1. What colour blush suits you the most?

I like rose shades, but I think coral/peachy shades suit me most…

2. Pressed/cream/loose blush?

I like cream blushes because it is so easy to use them on the go. Most of my blushes are pressed blushes though.

3. Favourite shimmery blush?

Usually I don’t buy any shimmery blushes. But my favourite of the two I own is the Etude House Princess Happy Ending Rose Cheek Blusher.

4. Favourite matte blush?

At the moment it is Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in shade #11, before it was Bellapiere Mineral Blush Desert Rose.

The Blush Addict Tag

1028 Visual Therapy Muse Powder Blush, Kryolan for Glossybox Blush, Bellapiere Mineral Blush

5. Favourite cream blush?

Skinfood Rose Essence Soft Cream Blusher and 3CE Creamy Cheek Stick

6. Favourite drugstore blush?

I used to buy the Manhattan Cream Blusher regulary, when I only used and owned one single blush.

7. Favourite high-end blush?

My only higher-end blush is the Benefit Dandelion Blush which is part of my Benefit Feelin’ Dandy Kit.

8. Favourite bright blush?

I don’t have any bright blushes. the brightest would be 1028 Visual Therapy Muse Powder Blush.

The Blush Addict Tag

Benefit Feelin’ Dandy Kit

9. Biggest blush disappointment/regret?

Holika Holika Love Fantasy Blusher. It is so pretty, but the lid doesn’t close properly and it largely depends on the brush you use whether the pigmentation is visible or not.

10. Best blush packaging?

Etude House usually does a great job in packaging, so I’m very easily tempted to buy them. I’m still lusting for Canmake blushes because they look super pretty, too, but I didn’t try any yet.

11. What’s on your blush wish list?

Canmake blushes are on my wishlist. And the famous NARS Orgasm Blush is something I would love to try. Kiko also launched a new ollection with some beatiful cream blush colors.

12. Number 1 holy grail blush?

I don’t have a real holy grail blush yet, but I was positively surprised by the Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher, because I didn’t expected it to be too good. It is one of my most used blushes at the moment.

The Blush Addict Tag

I probably don’t have the most exceptional blush collection, but I hope you still like it. I have linked the blushes I reviewed in the text, so ou can read some more details about each blush if you are interested. You are also welcome to do the Blush Addict Tag yourself. I would have tagged Sharlynn for this post, but she already did the tag. she is one of the greatest blush addicts I know within my blogging friends :D. Other than her I will tag my sister MissLovelyAttitude, and Sooyoona, and everybody reading and enjoying these kinds of posts. :)

Here are the questions for the Blush Addict Tag:

1. What colour blush suits you the most?

Review: 3CE Creamy Cheek Stick

24. June 2015

I’m getting more fond of Stylenanda’s 3 Concept Eyes product with every item I try try from this brand! I still don’t understand why the 3CE Water Wrapping Mask was the first item I tried from this brand, making the 3CE Creamy Cheek Stick the second item :D This items was part of BNTnews Beauty Blogger Box for June and provided kindly to me for reviewing purpose. I’m not as much a blush hoarder or addict as I’m with lip products. Nevertheless, I have accumulated quite some different shades and types. Most of them are peach or red toned, but I do not own a pink blush which is as vivid as this cream blush by 3CE. I hope you don’t get bored, since this is my second blush review this week :D

3CE Creamy Cheek Stick

3CE stands for 3 Concept Eyes and was launched in 2009 as a cosmetic brand by Stylenanda. The packaging of the products is similar to MAC cosmetics and mainly black with the triangular logo displayed on the product. Although very simple I think that this kind of packaging looks somehow very trendy. The price of Stylenanda’s 3CE lies in the mid region, but since it is more expensive than Etude House for example, I never ended up buying any 3CE products previously. The 3CE Creamy Cheek Stick comes in the typical black cardboard box with the white lettering and logo. The blush is available in 6 different shades, each of tem has its significant color in the upper part of the cardboard box displayed. The blush I’m showing you here has the shade “Pink Factory”, a lovely soft pink color for a lovely mood!

3CE Creamy Cheek Stick

The sides of the cardboard box show the Korean description. You can find English description for the product on the official site >>here<<.

3CE Creamy Cheek Stick

The 3CE Creamy Cheek Stick is a cream-type stick blush which is supposed to melt onto the skin and give it a long-lasting color. The stick contains 7 g of product. I added the ingredients to COSDNA and you can look them up >>here<<. The blush even contains titanium dioxide for some minimal UV protection. The other ingredients are mostly safe to use and the only red labelled ingredient is the yellow pigment for giving the blush its color. Supposingly, the concentration of the pigments is so low that we can overlook that point.

3CE Creamy Cheek Stick

The design of the stick is the same as the cardboard packaging. The material is plastic and it has a winding mechanism to push up the blush-bullet. The product is sealed, too, so you know if somebody already opened it, or if it is new.

3CE Creamy Cheek Stick

Normally, you use such kind of stick-type products by winding them up a bit, but I was curious how much 7 g looks like and I pushed the bullet out completelly in the image below. You can see that the color is a true pastell pink color. The 3CE Creamy Cheek Blush is described as a product providing real color, bright creamy texture and practical stick-type applicator. It contains “Real fiiting powder” in the formula in order to adhere to the skin in its realest hue. The creamy texture makes it possible for the product to melt into the skin and base makeup without clumping and nevertheless expresses a bright color. And of course the small size of 8 cm and the stick-type applicator is super travel- and handbag-friendly and makes it possible to take it everywere.

3CE Creamy Cheek Stick

Below you can see how the blush looks like when applied. When swatched you can clearly see the bright color. It applies like a matte lipstick from the feeling, so it is creamy, but not oily or overly moisturizing, nor super slippery. The color can be blended easily with the fingers and it doesn’t leave any streaks, but turns into a pretty soft pinkish color. The feeling of it is soft, but not oily or dewy like some cream blushes can be. The finish therefore is neither glowy, nor powdery, but pretty much looks like skin. The pigmentation of the blush is buildable, but always nicely to blend out to create soft borders. It does not clump with my makeup or the cremes I’m using. The staying power is good, too, and although the stick is very handbag-friendly I don’t think that there is much need for a touch-up during the day. The color also looks pink on my cheecks and is nicely visible on my skintone. The bullet has no significant scent by the way.

3CE Creamy Cheek Stick

The 3CE Creamy Cheek Stick is the second item I tried from 3 Concept Eyes and the second one I love aswell. I like the point that it blends in so nicely and can be carried around easily, too. Apart from the high pricetag I don’t see any negative aspects for this blush. The 3CE Creamy Cheek Sticks retail from the official Stylenanda page for 25 US$ or from testerkorea for 22000 Won (22 US$).

Review: 3CE Water Wrapping Facial Mask

6. June 2015

// PR SAMPLE / KBEAUTY //

Can you believe that the 3CE Water Wrapping Facial Mask is the first product I’m trying from 3CE?! Those who love asian beauty products will have heard of this brand previously.  The May beauty box send by BNTnews contained mainly sheet masks and the 3CE Water Wrapping Facial Masks were part of them. Since I’m a dry skintype I’m always happy about moisturizing products, especially about moisturizing sheet masks, and I think I have found a new favourite moisturizing sheet mask here:

3CE Water Wrapping Facial Mask

3CE stands for 3 Concept Eyes and was launched in 2009 as a cosmetic brand by Stylenanda. The packaging of the products is similar to MAC cosmetics and mainly black with the triangular logo displayed on the product. Although very simple I think that this kind of packaging looks somehow very trendy. The price of Stylenanda’s 3CE lies in the mid region, but since it is more expensive than Etude House for example, I never ended up buying any 3CE products. The 3CE Water Wrapping Facial Mask are available as single sheet masks or in cardboard boxes containing 5 sheet masks.

3CE Water Wrapping Facial Mask

The cardboard box and the sheet mask sachets have the same design. They are black colored and have the product name written on it. It looks like a sketch or a doodle. Some waterdrops and an inforgraphic on the key ingredient make the packaging look pretty cute, too. The backside of the masks and the cardboard contain the description of the product. The description is written in Korean only on both, but you can find English description on the official Stylenanda page.

3CE Water Wrapping Facial Mask

The 3CE Water Wrapping Facial Mask is a hydration solution mask, as the name already tells us. It is supposed to deliver the moisture deep into the skin layers in order to prevent dryness. The two key ingredients of this sheet mask are hyaluronic acid and mineral-rich Alaska glacial water, which are perfect for moisturizing dry skin, since both these ingredients have moisturizing properties. Moreover the sheet mask promises to be non-sticky and refreshing and contain a moisture rich essence which has soothing properties. Also the cotton sheet is made from super fine fibers and is supposed to give you a velvety smooth feeling.

3CE Water Wrapping Facial Mask

When opening the sheet mask the first thing I recognized was the thickness of the cotton sheet. From all the sheet masks I tried this is probably the thickest one. Nevertheless, the cotton sheet mask is soaked in lots of essence. There is also quite a good amount of left-over essence in the sachet to be used on your neck. The essence used in the 3CE Water Wrapping Facial Mask is not that watertype, clear and super runny essence, but a milky essence which reminds me of japanese lotions. It feels more creamy than watery and I really do like that feeling. The sheet mask is so heavily soaked with the essence that it doesn’t dry out quickly either. The cotton sheet mask is super smooth and I can imagine that people with sensitive skin will definitively like the feeling of that mask. I love the feeling it has while on the skin (velvety is definitively the right word to describe it) and I totally agree about the points that the mask claims to do. After using it the skin feels refreshed and moisturized. When the essence is absorbed it doesn’t feel sticky afterwards, which is also a point that I really like about the mask.

3CE Water Wrapping Facial Mask

The 3CE Water Wrapping Facial Mask fulfills all the claims it has: it is deeply moisturizing, it is not sticky and refreshing, it contains a nice amount of essence and it has the most velvety smooth sheet mask I tried! Regarding all these point I can say that I love this sheet mask and that it has become one of my favourite moisturizing sheet masks! The only downside is, that it is more expansive than other sheet masks, but definitively worth a try! On the official Stylenanda page it retails for 4 US$ each. The box with 5 sheet masks costs 18 US$. You can also get the box from W2Beauty for 24.84 US$.
